She swiftly deleted the post after being called out, which read: 'Happy birthday to the most amazing daughter @princess_andre.
'Now you're 18 so much more adventures we can do. I love you baby girl always and forever.'
In a scene from her brand new ITV2 show The Princess Diaries, the up-and-coming star has addressed the blunder for the first time and has insisted it was "typical mum".
Confirming she had spoken to her mum on the phone on her actual birthday, she spoke to the camera about the mix-up.
"Princess said: "I did speak to my mum today, she called me.
"I thought she had forgot my birthday because, basically, she messaged me... it has actually gone everywhere online.
"But she had posted for my birthday on Friday.
"She was like, 'happy birthday to my gorgeous girl', and I was like, 'mum, it's not my birthday today'.
"But that is just typical mum."
Princess then added with her head in her hands: "It is laughable.
Emotional Princess Andre admits she 'thought she'd be killed or kidnapped' in carjacking with mum Katie Price
"I don't think she meant it. I actually think she just genuinely got confused!"
It comes as Princess' rift with Katie was exposed with the mum-of-five hitting out after being banned from attending the party as a result of it appearing on Princess' new reality show.
Katie claims to have been banned from filming the show despite offering to do three days worth of filming for free.
In the latest edition of her podcast, Katie said: "Princess is now officially an adult, so Mummy and Princess can now go out together, if certain people would let her be seen with me."
She went on: "Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me."
Her sister Sophie chipped in: "You aren't on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that's why."
Katie then said: "It's pathetic. I'm her mother."

I'm a Celeb castle eyes 1am music events and a Russell Watson return

Gwrych Castle, near Abergele, which hosted ITV's I'm A Celebrity in 2020 and 2021, has applied to Conwy County Borough Council for a premises licence variation. The Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust, which purchased the imposing Gothic ruin in 2018, has requested permission to play live music indoors and outdoors from 10am to 1am on Saturdays and Sundays. They are also seeking approval for recorded music and other performances similar to live music, recorded music, or dance - indoors or outdoors - during the same hours. The application states there would be no more than four daytime musical events per year, each with a capacity of more than 500 people. The trust say the application is part of their ambition to welcome Watson back to the castle for a special classical concert - an event that would be made possible through the proposed variation to the castle's existing premises licence. (Image: Gwrych Castle / submitted) A spokesperson for the trust said: "Russell Watson was one of the stars of ITV's 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! which was famously based at Gwrych Castle for two consecutive years during the Covid-19 pandemic. "His return for a live performance would celebrate that shared history and offer a truly memorable evening for audiences in North Wales. Speaking about the possibility of returning to Gwrych Castle, Russell Watson said: 'Gwrych Castle holds a very special place in my heart after filming I'm A Celebrity there. The thought of returning to perform in such a spectacular setting would be incredible. "I'd love to be part of bringing live music and culture to this iconic place once again.' Watson was a contestant on the 2020 series of I'm a Celeb. He entered the castle alongside Ruthie Henshall as a late addition to the show. The castle spokesperson added: "Gwrych Castle has a strong track record of hosting inclusive, well-managed events that support heritage, community engagement, and the local economy. 'Whether it's classical concerts or Cliff Richard, being able to host just four large-scale events a year would be a huge cultural and economic boost for the region." Gwrych Castle is a Grade I listed country house in Abergele, North Wales, built between 1812 and 1822. The castle is currently open every day until the end of August. Visit: for full details.

Princess, 18, is starring in her very own reality show - The Princess Diaries - which follows her journey into adulthood as she steps out of her famous parents' shadows. The teen is also seen working the camera for her first-ever solo cover shoot - and it's instantly apparent she's the daughter of one the country's most successful models. For one set of snaps, Princess stunned in a sheer pink dressing gown trimmed with fluffy faux fur. With her smokey eye make-up and perfect pout, the influencer was a double of her mum in her early modelling career. In a moment of bad timing, Pete, 52, appeared on FaceTime and even Princess picked up on how 'uncomfortable' her dad was. Speaking in her confessional, Princess said: 'I'm channelling my mum's confidence in photoshoots. This look is… something I've not actually done before. It's a little bit more grown up.' When Pete was shown his daughter's new look, clearly struggling with his words, he said: 'Right… yeah… ok.' Off camera, Princess said: 'I think it was such a big mistake to FaceTime dad. This is definitely not a dad-friendly look.' Pete is seen still adjusting to what he's seeing, and he added: 'Not my kind of thing… but you look… you look…' After the shoot wrapped, Princess reflected on the day and said: 'I did feel a bit like I was in my zone. I felt like my mum. 'When I see pictures of her when she was younger, it reminded me of that. But obviously she did topless and I will not do topless.' Princess Andre reveals what mum Katie Price thinks of her TV career after star vowed NOT to watch new show Katie, 47, made her name in the 90s as a lads' mag pin-up, posing under the pseudonym Jordan. Such was Katie's success as Jordan that she was already a multi-millionaire when she entered the I'm a Celebrity jungle in 2004 and met future husband Pete, who was then known for his 1995 hit Mysterious Girl. Meanwhile, Katie has claimed she was 'banned' from seeing her daughter when she was filming scenes for The Princess Diaries in Ibiza. Mum-of-five Katie was coincidentally on the White Island and attempted to meet up with Princess in a bar. But Katie told how she broke down in tears when producers blocked it from happening. Speaking on the latest edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, she revealed: "When I was in Ibiza, Princess was there in Ibiza, and I wasn't allowed to meet up with her. "But funny enough, I walked into a bar, and there was a group of people and it was the producer of her show, and they came up to me and said, we're producing the show. I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, 'I'm so upset'. ''It's my daughter. I want to be involved. But that side stops me.'"

It led to the mum-of-five declaring that she wouldn't bother to watch the programme but Princess has now spoken out about what Katie really thinks. Speaking exclusively to The Sun to launch her brand new show, Princess confirmed that Katie was "supportive" of the show despite the tensions understood to be brewing amongst them. When asked how much input both her parents had been able to put into the show, Princess told The Sun: "They have both just been very supportive. "They have both said 'you do you' and be yourself." Her brother Junior then added: "They are both proud of us. "They are supportive and they are there. "We have learnt from them and they are veterans in this game." Although Princess claims to have been supported by Katie, the model let her feelings be really known as she ranted on her podcast about her plans to snub the programme. Katie had offered to film for three days for free as part of Princess' show but her request was turned down and it was later clarified that she would not be appearing at all. Princess Andre breaks silence on mum Katie Price's mortifying birthday blunder after star was 'banned' from party Telly bosses and industry insiders reportedly made the decision because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie'. Speaking last week, Katie said: "And it puts Princess in a situation because I don't want her to feel she has to choose between me and her work because I want her to do well. 'And I have said to Princess, just see how it feels for me because I should be there supporting you. "I want to be there to support you like my family did. And I'm your mum and especially as you're doing stuff that I did, I'm proud of you and want to be there. 6 Princess downplayed speculation of a rift Credit: ITV 6 Katie was left feeling hurt by the decision to not feature her in the show Credit: Getty "I won't be watching the show and I won't be promoting the show, because I don't need it rubbed in my face of everyone playing Happy Families," she said. Revealing the extent of how much she claims to have been pushed out, Katie continued: 'They won't allow Princess to do photo shoots with me. "They won't allow me to go to any events with Princess because they think I am trash basically. 'Now, everyone knows she's my daughter. So what difference does it make? If it wasn't for me or Pete, Princess and Junior wouldn't be known anyway. 'I find it an insult as I've been in the industry 30 years. I know this job inside and out. "If there's anyone better to advise or be there and guide Princess, it is me.'
