Cher's son released from hospital
Elijah Blue Allman - whose father is the late Gregg Allman - was taken to a California medical facility on 14 June after "acting erratically" amid reports of a drugs overdose, but TMZ have confirmed he returned home "midweek" and is continuing to recover.
According to the outlet, Cher's "only concern" is for her 48-year-old offspring's wellbeing and the 79-year-old singer is doing everything she can to get him the help he needs.
Police previously explained the Deadsy rocker was "transported to the hospital" after cops were called to his house, and "deputies located drugs inside the home".
Following Elijah's hospitalisation, his estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, shared her "steadfast" support amid his "personal challenges".
She told People magazine: 'While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves.
"Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles — but it is important to recognise that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat.
"Despite the assumptions that often colour how his journey is portrayed, the reality is that Elijah remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose.
"I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him. My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show."
In recent years, the Believe hitmaker sought to put Elijah under a conservatorship, but decided to drop the case towards the end of last year after they came to an agreement.
Court documents revealed the development months after Cher's request for conservatorship over her son was denied by a judge in Los Angeles.
At the time, the singer had filed an emergency request for Elijah to be placed under a temporary emergency conservatorship – claiming she 'feared that her son would not be alive within the year'.
Cher's lawyers cited his treatment for schizoaffective disorder and revealed that in the past year he has been placed in several 5150s – a California legal code which allows a person with a mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalisation.
A judge ruled against the proposal as Elijah proved he had 'managed his finances', has an apartment and 'remained drug free' after submitting 'several drug tests' during the proceedings.
The judge also ruled there was not 'sufficient evidence' to agree to the temporary conservatorship, as much of what the mum and son were arguing was based on 'fears' and hypotheticals.
Elijah previously revealed that he started using drugs when he was just 11 years old and came close to overdosing several times.
In 2014, he told Entertainment Tonight: "I did have some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality ... I always kind of kept it a little bit safe but you never can do that."

Justin Bieber impersonator tricks Las Vegas club into letting him perform, runs up $15,500 bar tab
A Justin Bieber impersonator ran up a $10,000 ($15,500 AUD) bar tab after he tricked staff at a Las Vegas nightclub into believing he was the Canadian pop star — even getting up on the stage for an impromptu performance. The bizarre incident took place at the five-star Wynn Las Vegas, where LA-based DJ Gryffin was performing at XS Nightclub. Gryffin was told that Bieber, 31, was in town and wanted to make a surprise appearance during his Saturday night show. Believing he was the real Biebs, he invited him into the DJ booth, TMZ reported. Video posted on social media shows the shirtless, tattooed impersonator, wearing dark shades and low-slung blue jeans, belting out a version of Bieber's 2015 hit 'Sorry' in front of a packed nightclub crowd, all of whom appeared oblivious about the scam. The shameless scammer, identified as 29-year-old Dylan Desclos, sang a couple of Bieber's songs before Wynn staff realized the truth and kicked him off the stage. Gryffin jokingly dubbed the prank 'Beibergate' in an Instagram post, explaining that a 'dark venue and loud music didn't help.' Gryffin shared a video showing him hyping up the French fake Bieber's performance before being told the news of the devastating dupe. 'I literally thought, 'he's put on a lot of weight since the album dropped,'' Gryffin said at the end of the video. Social media clips also show the Desclos posing for selfies and browsing stores with his 'security guards' during the Vegas trip. He and his entourage ran up an almost $10,000 bar tab during their stunt, which the fake Bieber eventually paid as he was kicked out, Neon reports. Desclos, who has shared a number of videos in recent years of him pretending to be Bieber, even got similar tattoos and a matching buzzcut as the real mega star. Last year, the impersonator caught the attention of Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, after he was spotted on a train in his native France. 'I'm scared…' Hailey commented on a TikTok of an impersonator. The nightclub has responded to the prank. 'After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,' a representative for Wynn and XS Nightclub told TMZ. 'As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.' Representatives for Desclos did not respond immediately to requests for comment. Justin Baldoni's team fire back at Isabela Ferrer
Justin Baldoni has accused Isabela Ferrer of making an "inapproriate attack" on him. The It Ends with Us actress alleged the film's director had been "harassing" her with attempts to subpoena her in his ongoing legal battle with co-star Blake Lively, and his lawyers hit back in a new court filing on Monday (18.08.25). According to documents viewed by People magazine, lawyers claimed Isabela's opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel relating to matters not before the Court and irrelevant" to whether the 24-year-old actress should be served a subpoena. Justin's team said they had subpoenaed Isabela for "documents that she either neglected to produce or were not requested" in a subpoena Blake - who is suing her director and his production company Wayferer Studios for sexual harassment and retaliation - served the actress in February. The 41-year-old actor-and-filmmaker also objected to the notion that serving Isabela with a subpoena constituted him "harassing" the actress. And his lawyers argued Blake "should not be permitted to obtain discovery from" Isabela while she and and her legal representatives allegedly "frustrate all effort by the Wayfarer Parties to obtain the discovery critical to the preparation of their defense." Justin's lawyers have asked the court to consider ordering both parties to avoid using "any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner in this action" to "satisfy Ms. Ferrer's apparent desire to avoid involvement in the litigation and trial." The filing also noted Isabela had "expressed her gratitude to Mr. Baldoni, stating that she had 'an incredible experience' and praised him for creating 'a comfortable, safe space' for her" in messages to Justin after she finished filming the movie. However, the actress' lawyers had claimed in their motion on 17 August that "some of the text messages Ms. Ferrer sent Baldoni were very positive and included the types of comments one would expect from a young actress to make to the director and producer of her first feature film." Isabela - who portrayed a younger version of Blake Lively's character Lily Bloom in the 2024 romantic drama - had alleged that when she came to request Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, pay her legal fees, she didn't receive anything and was allegedly told she would have to 'relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer.' Her lawyers stated in the court documents: 'From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer." They added that it's 'yet another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress and to violate this Court's policies on the publishing of non-party personally identifying information.' Her team accused the filmmaker of bullying behaviour. They said: 'Ms. Ferrer has already had to resist Baldoni's inappropriate conduct in connection with her response to the Lively Subpoena. 'Unfortunately, the Motion is just the latest in a broader pattern of conduct by Baldoni to bully Ms. Ferrer. 'While Ms. Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.' Isabella has asked the court to "deny the Motion in its entirety and impose appropriate sanctions against Baldoni." Blake's attorneys previously claimed that two of her female co-stars in It Ends With Us had agreed to testify about their own experiences with the director on the film, though the witnesses were not named at the time. A trial is scheduled to take place in March 2026.

Britney Spears sparks concern with video dancing in messy house
Britney Spears has sparked concern from fans after showing her messy house on social media. The Toxic hitmaker, 43, has shared another video of herself dancing in her home, but some fans noticed what appeared to be dog poo on the floor behind her, along with other clutter. In the video shared on Monday (18.08.25), she can be heard since her own version of Prince song Kiss as she dances in her pyjamas, which were made up for a brown polka dot bralette and mini white shorts. A puppy can be seen in the background, and at one point she sings: "I don't know who I am, oh, oh." In the caption, she quipped: 'I would say, Julia Roberts singing Prince's 'Kiss' off key a touch, but I sounded really good behind the lens lol!!! "PSS Wise a**es, I do know who I am !!! "I have eight different languages written on my neck... these are my pjs, but I put these boots on to play with lighting ... not the most elegant look but hey!!! (sic)" In another video, Britney revealed she was in the middle of cleaning her house but took a quick break. She wrote: "Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow,' the star wrote in the caption." Some people are concerned by the video, which had comments disabled but was shared by a fan on X. Echoing another user, a fan asked: "Is that dog poop on the floor?!" In the comments on TMZ, one reader simply wrote: "Poor thing." Another person suggested she "needs help", while a third said: "You can't help but feel sorry for her." In June, Britney's Instagram account - which has become her sole method of communicating with fans after the conservatorship that had been governed by her immediate family was terminated in November 2021 - was deactivated after a rant about two of her former partners. Days earlier, the Oops! I Did It Again singer posted a scathing attack on two of the men she dated in the past. Britney was initially married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for a period of 55 hours in 2004 and was then married to Kevin Federline from 2004 until 2007 but was then married to Sam Asghari from 2022 until 2024. Without naming anyone, she wrote: "I dated two f****** complete a**holes. 'I realized I loved their dogs more than them and I think it's because their dogs bowed to me every time I entered the room!!!" The Baby One More Time hitmaker - who has sons Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, with her second husband - did not name either of the men in question but branded them as "cruel humans" who failed to "acknowledge" her during their time together. She added: "Now the guys were of course cruel humans that never even acknowledged and never held my hand in the car for 6 years !!! I choose animals over people anyday !!! "I'm so turned off by humanity and the way people have literally … I have no words !!!"
