On Friday, mailboxes were broken into on Sammon Drive, Parkinson Drive and Hampson Crescent. OPP said the thieves took multiple items, including government-issued identification and other mail. Around 2 a.m. that same day, a silver four-door car was seen on security video driving up to one of the mailboxes. Two people then got out of the vehicle. (Source: OPP) The driver was described as a male, with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing baggy pants and a light-coloured hoodie. Man stabbed in southeast Calgary, police search for suspect

At 12:20 p.m., police say a man approached some security guards in the 800 block of Macleod Trail S.E. and told them he had been stabbed. Police believe the incident took place in a nearby parkade. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in stable condition. The suspect is described as white, 178 centimetres (5'10') tall, wearing a mask and a grey-and-black hoodie. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
