The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso OTT Release Date: When and where to watch the chilling three-part docu-series
The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso OTT Release Date: Netflix is bringing one of Argentina's most haunting and controversial true crime stories to the global stage. The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso, a chilling three-part documentary series, will premiere worldwide on June 19, exclusively on Netflix.
This is a detailed and deeply human look into the murder that shocked an entire nation, the 2006 killing of Nora Dalmasso, a woman who was as much a victim of brutal violence as she was of social and media persecution.
The crime that shook Argentina
On a November night in 2006, Nora Dalmasso, a 51-year-old socialite and mother of two, was found dead in her home in Río Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina. She had been strangled with the belt of a bathrobe and left in her daughter's bedroom. What followed wasn't just a police investigation, but a two-decade-long media circus.
In the absence of solid evidence, the country speculated wildly, questioning her character, her marriage, her family, and ultimately, turning her death into national gossip. But amidst this fog of tabloid noise, The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso attempts to restore clarity and dignity.
Behind the camera
Directed by Jamie Crawford,
The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso
is produced by Pulse Films, the studio behind Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts and Gangs of London. Crawford's personal connection to the Río Cuarto community gave him unique access to the people and places central to this case. His aim? To peel away the media frenzy and get to the heart of who Nora really was - a mother, a wife, a friend - and how those who loved her have carried the weight of an unresolved tragedy.
The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso is executive produced by Jamie Crawford and Tom Keeling, with Rosie Taylor as the production lead.
Cast of real voices
What makes this documentary stand out is the intimate access to those at the centre of the storm. Speaking on-camera for the first time in nearly 20 years are:
Facundo Macarrón – Nora's son
Valentina Macarrón – Nora's daughter
Marcelo Macarrón – Nora's husband and, at one point, a suspect
Cecilia Balbo – Nora's friend
Daniel Zabala – Police biochemist
Juan Carlos Jaime – Forensic geneticist
Gustavo Liebau – Family lawyer
Julio Rivero – Chamber prosecutor
Denise Audrito, Pablo Ferrari, Hernán Vaca Narvaja, Liliana Caruso – Journalists who reported on the case
Expect chills. Expect anger. And expect a story that will stay with you long after the final episode. The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso drops on Netflix this June 19.

The first review of the show by Netflix's CEO Ted Sarandos is out now. Appearing on Nikhil Kamath's WTF podcast, Ted said, 'It (The Ba***ds of Bollywood) is very fun. I've watched the first two episodes so far. It's very funny. I think people in India and people outside of India know nothing about the inner workings of Bollywood. So it's a really fun world. He's (Aryan Khan) a very good director.' The Ba***ds of Bollywood is billed as a dark comedy, offering an insider's glimpse into the inner workings of the Hindi film industry. It is still in production. The show was announced at the Next during a Netflix event in Mumbai earlier this year. 'He did his learning ki kaise kare (on how to do) direction and production USC (University of Southern California), America mein (in America). Bahut ajeeb sa coincidence hai. Covid nahi hota toh maine baat ki thi Ted se aur Bela se ki isko Netflix mein naukri de dein, wo assist kare kisi ko. But Covid ho gaya toh wo yahan par aa gaya (It's a very strange coincidence. If it wasn't for Covid, I'd talked to Ted and Bela ( Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Chief Content Officer) to give him a job at Netflix so that he can assist someone there. But Covid happened so he came back to India), and then he started writing,' said Shah Rukh at the event. The Ba***ds of Bollywood reportedly stars Lakshya and Sahher Bamba. Anurag Kashyap Claps Back At Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, Calls Him Dumb Over Sacred Games Remark
New Delhi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has fired back at Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos following the latter's recent comments about Sacred Games. During an appearance on Nikhil Kamath's WTF podcast, Sarandos spoke about Netflix India's evolution, mentioning popular titles like Sacred Games, Heeramandi, CID, and The Kapil Sharma Show. In the podcast, Sarandos expressed doubt over the decision to launch Netflix India's original programming with Sacred Games. He suggested that, in hindsight, something more "populist" might have been a better starting point. 'Our very first Indian original show was Sacred Games, and I thought, 'This is going to be great. People in India love movies. This is a TV show that feels as big as a movie — it has movie stars.' What was interesting was that it was very, very novel,' Sarandos said. 'But what I didn't understand was that we were introducing a brand-new kind of entertainment in a country the size of India.' He added: 'If I did it all over again, would I have done Sacred Games a couple of years later and started with something more populist instead? Maybe. We knew that India was going to be a slower journey to reach our goals. But it's a great prize at the end of the day. The addressable market is growing in India in the next couple of years, so it's exciting.' Following Sarandos's remarks, Kashyap responded sharply, calling the Netflix CEO 'dumb.' Sharing his response on Threads, Kashyap wrote: 'He should have started with Saas-Bahu... he would have done well. Which he is doing now :)) I always knew the tech guys are dumb when it comes to storytelling, but @tedsarandos being the definition of dumb — that I didn't know. Good to discover that. This explains everything now.' Sacred Games was Netflix India's first original series, directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. The show, which starred Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, gained massive popularity for its gritty storytelling and cinematic scale. However, the second season received mixed reviews, and the show was ultimately not renewed for a third.

Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, is all set to step into the entertainment industry, but behind the camera. He is helming a Netflix series titled The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The first review of Aryan's show is in, and it comes from none other than Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. In his feedback for the first two episodes that he has watched, Sarandos praised Khan and called the series 'very funny". The Ba***ds of Bollywood is a high-stakes, humorous, and immersive story that follows an ambitious outsider and his friends as they navigate the unpredictable, larger-than-life world of Bollywood. In an interview on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath's WTF podcast, Ted Sarandos spoke about the Aryan Khan-helmed show. He said, 'It (The Ba***ds of Bollywood) is very fun. I've watched the first two episodes so far. It's very funny. I think people in India and people outside of India know nothing about the inner workings of Bollywood. So it's a really fun world. From the house of Red Chillies Entertainment, this collaboration with Netflix brings to life a story that is as bold and entertaining as the movies we have come to love. We can't wait for audiences to experience this with us." Produced under Red Chillies Entertainment, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood is backed by Gauri Khan, with Bonnie Jain and Akshat Verma serving as executive producers.
