Rachel Dratch To Headline Uniworld's First Women-Only Cruise
Dratch will become the headline performer for Uniworld Boutique River Cruises' first-ever Women-Only Cruise through the heart of France this summer.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive comedy set and a special Q&A session with Dratch during the cruise, which sets sail on August 24, 2025. It will incorporate Uniworld's Burgundy & Provence itinerary, an eight-day trip onboard the S.S. Catherine with stops in Arles, Viviers, Avignon and Lyon.
'We are beyond excited to welcome the incredibly talented and hilarious Rachel Dratch aboard our special Women-Only Cruise,' stated Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld. 'Rachel is the perfect fit for what promises to be an unforgettable trip, and I'm looking forward to being onboard to host her and all of our guests on this sailing.'
In an interview with Forbes, Dratch explained that she heard about the Women-Only Cruise through a call from her agent. She added that this cruise sounded like the kind of trip she would take with some friends, if she was organized enough to plan it!
'I love it when a work situation takes me somewhere great. It has happened a few times in the past, and I try to say yes when these rare opportunities come up in life.'
In terms of going on a cruise, Dratch confessed that she has never taken one before. 'I think it sounds fun to ease into cruising on a smaller boat, and on a river no less,' she said. 'Honestly, my view of cruising probably comes from watching The Love Boat when I was a kid.'
Dratch once she lived with a family in France for a semester during college; while there, she saw a lot of the country. However, she's never been to the area where this Uniworld cruise is going but plans to do a few excursions.
'I do love to travel. I like a girls' trip, and now that I have a child, I have taken him on a few special trips, too,' said Dratch. 'I'm not someone who is very particular on 'must haves' – like 'oh I need my lavender spray and my favorite pillow.' Honestly, I'm lucky if I get there and find out I didn't pack all shirts and only one pair of pants. I'm the type to throw a bunch of stuff in a bag and hope I have something to wear when I arrive.'
A veteran of Chicago's Second City, Dratch was an SNL cast member from 1999 to 2006. Her IMDB profile includes King of Queens, 30 Rock, Shameless, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Just Go with It and Wine Country.
Dratch is also the author of the critically acclaimed memoir, Girl Walks into a Bar. She has lent her voice to animated series such as Bob's Burgers and will next be heard in the upcoming Fox series, Grimsburg.
Dratch made her Broadway debut in POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive. She received a Tony nomination for her performance.
Dratch is now working on a writing project with fellow ex-SNL cast member Ana Gasteyer.
'We wrote a parody of a Hallmark Christmas movie that came out a couple of years ago and we are keeping that Christmas train going,' said Dratch. 'I also have a podcast currently running called 'Woo Woo with Rachel Dratch,' where I have my funny friends on to talk about 'woo woo' stuff like ghosts and psychics, that kind of thing!'
For Dratch, this Uniworld's Women-Only Cruise is sure to be a source for new material.

Today's NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Thursday, July 31st
In case you missed Wednesday's NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here: The final day of July is here. The summer is flying by. My youngest begins 10th grade next week! Of course, we still have plenty of summer left even if summer break is over for some kids. I know a lot of school won't start back up for a few more weeks. I just wish it would rain! Anyways, let's solve today's Mini Crossword shall we? The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it's free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you'll need the app to tackle the archive. Spoilers ahead! Before we get to the answers, here's the first letter for each word in today's Mini. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Across 1A. Grated citrus peel – Z Okay, onto the answers! Remember, spoilers ahead! Across 1A. Quick punches – JABS 5A. Animal with unique stripes, similar to human fingerprints – ZEBRA 6A. The People's ___ (The Rock's signature wrestling move) – ELBOW 7A. Pumps the brakes, say – SLOWS 8A. Many "Bluey" viewers – TOTS Down 1D. Treat once advertised as "America's Most Famous Dessert' – JELL-O 2D. Head of a monastery – ABBOT 3D. Furrowed facial features – BROWS 4D. Lumber mill tools – SAWS 5D. Grated citrus peel – ZEST I started off with JABS and then got a little mixed up when I accidentally put 2-Down into 2-Across, though I quickly realized and moved it to the appropriate column. I just put my first guess in as I went: BROWS, SAWS, then over to TOTS and ELBOW and up to ZEST and ZEBRA. JELLO rounded things out. I used to like jello, but I really don't anymore. Mostly I've come to like more and more things, but not sugary stuff like jello. Go figure. This one took me 1:30. How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!

FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Wordle is a daily word puzzle game where your goal is to guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries or fewer. Every day brings a new word, and everyone around the world is trying to solve the same puzzle. Some Wordlers also play Competitive Wordle against friends, family, the Wordle Bot or even against me, your humble narrator. See rules for Competitive Wordle toward the end of this post. Today's Wordle Hints And Answer Wordle Bot's Starting Word: SLATE My Starting Word Today: STORE (123 words remaining) The Hint: Ruffles, lace. The Clue: This Wordle has a double letter. Okay, spoilers below! The answer is coming! . . .Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here. STORE wasn't terrible, leaving me with 123 remaining solutions and one yellow box. BRAID cut that number down to a reasonable 12, but I still had no strong sense of where to go next. I was 99% sure the 'I' would go in the third box and I wanted to come up with something that used new letters to narrow things down, but finally just settled on GRILL. This left me with two words, but I didn't think of KRILL and guessed FRILL. Lucky for me, that was the Wordle! The Bot and I tied with four today, earning 0 points each on this final day of July. That leaves our totals at: Erik: 9 points Wordle Bot: 10 points The Bot wins this month, though just barely. On Friday, we'll start over at zero. Oh well. The word "frill" comes from the Middle Dutch vril or vrille, meaning a wrinkle or fold. It entered English in the 17th century to describe a pleated or ruffled edging on clothing. The term later expanded metaphorically to mean anything decorative or non-essential. 'Besties for life,' the influencer wrote alongside a carousel documenting the special moment. She also added several emojis: "💍🍰💞🔒💌🍒." Djerf tells PEOPLE, "Rasmus and I are so excited to start this next chapter of our lives! We were lucky to be surrounded by family in our favorite place to celebrate our proposal." Djerf included a short clip of her and Johansson embracing closely in front of a backdrop of clouds and water, a sparkler visible on her ring finger as she placed her left hand on her fiancé's chest.
