A post on Tej Pratap's social media account shows him seated on a beach, meditating with his eyes closed. He is wearing a black cap and a Rudraksh rosary around his neck. In his caption, he writes, "Peace is an essential part of life. We constantly seek it, for without peace, our lives can descend into chaos." He adds, "Through meditation and self-reflection, we gain a deeper understanding of our thoughts and emotions, leading to a greater sense of fulfilment and happiness.
"
In a pinned thread on his social media page, he is seen holding a Shivlinga while a sadhu pours water over it. "Mahadev is the symbol of ultimate truth. To embrace Mahadev is to embrace the deepest, most profound aspect of ourselves. To find peace in the midst of chaos is to find Mahadev," he writes. The location of the temple is not specified. Earlier this month, he had spoken about offering his services during heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi has been conducting outreach programmes ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. He has visited several districts including Bhagalpur, Nawada, Nalanda, Saran and Siwan to meet the families of soldiers who died during recent military operations.
On Thursday evening, he visited Bhagalpur to offer condolences to the family of Army jawan Santosh Yadav. According to reports, while his widow initially refused financial assistance, she later accepted it following repeated requests from Tejashwi.
He also visited Banka district, where a 20-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped and murdered. There too, Tejashwi provided financial help to the victim's family, as confirmed by a post on his social media account.

Rahul Gandhi pitches for Telangana model for caste census, says Modi government not interested in bringing social justice
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 4 (ANI): Accusing the BJP-led government not being interested in caste census even as an announcement has been made in this regard, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said such an enumeration will ensure social justice. He also said that caste census will meet the same fate as the Women Reservation Act, which is not being implemented immediately and will come into force after some years. Addressing a workers convention here, he alleged that Modi government does not want to bring social justice and wants to promote chosen industralists. 'BJP does not want to conduct caste census, because if caste census is conducted then their Adani-Ambani model will end because country will know that 90 per cent are not benefiting from this and the country's money is only being sent to the 5-10 per cent, and people will rise up stop this on their own. This is the fight,' he said. He said caste census is like X-ray of society. 'Have you ever gotten a fracture? What does the doctor say? That first let's see it and do an whole country knows that Dalits, backward classes and poor general castes are getting hurt. I am just saying to do an X-ray and see the problem. If it is revealed that that there is no problem, everything is all right. If X-ray reveals that the leg is broken, then something will have to be done.' The Congress leader also advocated 'Telangana model' for conducting caste census. 'There are two models for caste census, one of Telangana and another is Bihar Bihar they chose the questions behind closed door, without asking Dalits, tribals, backward classes, general caste or Telangana we asked lakhs of people, Dalit, Adivasi groups, and politicians. We asked them what questioned they would want, 3.5 lakh people were included in our process.' (ANI)

"Need to differentiate between race horse, wedding horse, and langda horse": Rahul Gandhi on plans to revamp party's Madhya Pradesh unit
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 4 (ANI): Seeking to revamp the party's Madhya Pradesh unit as part of party's Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday used the example of horses to differentiate between workers and leaders who are slogging for the party and those who are not and need to retire. Rahul Gandhi, who is Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, first illustrated the difference between a 'wedding horse' and a 'race horse' and how state sometimes party leaders fit one for the other, resulting in total mismatch and electoral losses. He also talked of 'unfit horses' and on the need for tired party leaders to make way for younger lot. He said those who cannot slog should not remain there as stumbling blocks. 'Now we have to differentiate between a race horse and a wedding horse and lame (langda) district president has come here, and there will be some of you who work for the Congress party with full strength and there will be some who are a little tired or who are not in a good mood, who are taking too much tension. Now we have to differentiate between a race horse and a wedding horse. Earlier, I used to say that there are two types. Kamal Nath had said that the Congress party sometimes sends a race horse to the wedding procession and sometimes makes the wedding horse stand in the race line. But there is a third category, which is a lame (langda) horse, so we have to differentiate. We have to retire the lame horse, so this change has to be brought,' he said. Congress has faced successive electoral defeats in Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi talked of empowering the district presidents, making them a fulcrum of party's revival. He gave an inkling of the work expected from the new district chiefs. 'The new district president will be different from the previous will measure their performance in an objective way, whether votes are increasing in local body, MLA, and MP elections. Wherever there is an attack on Congress ideology, if a Dalit, Adivasi or backward class, poor general caste woman is beaten up or suppressed, if Congress party is standing there or there is a good relationship between worker and leader,' he said. Asim Munir turned against my wife after removal as spy agency chief: Imran Khan
Pakistan's incarcerated former prime minister Imran Khan has spoken about the 'vindictive nature' of Army Chief Gen Asim Munir saying the field marshal turned against his wife, Bushra Bibi, after being removed from the post of director general of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) by him.'As Prime Minister, when I removed General Asim Munir from the post of DG ISI, he sought to approach my wife Bushra Bibi through intermediaries to discuss the Bibi categorically declined, saying that she had no involvement with such affairs and would not meet him. It is General Asim Munir's vindictive nature that is behind Bushra Bibi's unjust 14-month incarceration and deplorable inhumane treatment in prison,' Khan said in a post on X on Monday. Further lambasting Gen Munir, Khan said: 'The way my wife has been targeted for personal vengeance is unprecedented. Even during Pakistan's darkest periods of dictatorship such a thing never happened.'She was accused of aiding and abetting, an allegation for which no proof has ever been presented, and she is arrested in one false case after another. She is a private citizen, a homemaker with no political involvement. I have not even been allowed to meet her in the past four weeks.''According to jail regulations, I was scheduled to meet her on June 1 but even that meeting was denied, in complete violation of court orders,' the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo, who has been in jail for nearly two years in multiple cases, said the events of May 9, 2023, in which military installations were targeted, were in fact a part of the 'London Plan'— the sole purpose of which was to 'eliminate Pakistan's largest political force, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf'.'Under this premeditated plan, I and several of my party leaders and workers were unlawfully imprisoned. Our democratic mandate was brazenly stolen, and corrupt individuals — Sharifs and Zardaris — were imposed upon the nation."We were subjected to relentless fascist oppression, our supporters were shot at, and baseless cases have been fabricated against us,' he said, lambasting the military-backed regime of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).Khan said that anti-terrorism courts and numerous judges are "complicit in this campaign of repression against his party".'Despite repeated demands, they refuse to summon or examine the stolen CCTV footage from May 9, 2023. Not a single judge has the courage to demand those tapes and deliver a verdict based on evidence. We are innocent. Our people are being sentenced without evidence and without the right to a fair trial. We will petition all courts to demand the release and review of that CCTV footage,' he called for the formation of a judicial commission to conduct a transparent investigation into the 'massacres (of unarmed pro-democracy protesters) of May 9 and November 26, 2024 in Islamabad'.advertisement'The judiciary in Pakistan has never been more disgraceful than it is today. In the past, there was Justice Munir, whose unjust decisions earned him global notoriety. Today, Justice Qazi Faez Isa is following in the same footsteps. The entire judicial system seems complicit, driven not by justice but by a desire to protect their own jobs and privileges,' he week, a Pakistani court sentenced 11 supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including a lawmaker, for violent protest in the capital on May 9, PTI workers had vandalised public property and attacked defence installations in the country on the day as they protested the arrest of the 72-year-old party has been incarcerated in Adiala Jail of Rawalpindi, the garrison city, since mid-2023 in connection with multiple Watch
