'We apologise': Latest on Glasgow City Council's cyber attack
Glasgow City Council is working with Police Scotland, the Scottish Cyber Co-ordination Centre, the National Cyber Security Centre and security experts brought in by CGI to investigate the attack.
It is understood forensic work has now been completed and the council is waiting on the analysis.
Some services are now being brought back online — with public access planning going live again today (Monday), allowing people to view and comment on planning applications.
A temporary workaround was introduced last week. Other services to go back online include pensions and Freedom of Information requests.
A council spokesman said: 'We are working to safely relocate and reinstate online services that were taken offline — with public access to planning applications coming back online today.
'We apologise for the inconvenience caused.'
No evidence of data loss as a result of the attack has been discovered, although the council continues to work on the assumption that there is a risk that data has been compromised until the investigation is complete.
Following the attack, the servers where the malicious activity was discovered were isolated to protect the wider network. However, taking them offline disrupted a number of day-to-day digital services.

Police Scotland confirmed that a man and a woman were arrested for breach of the peace, while a second woman was arrested for allegedly refusing to leave the licensed premises during the Irish rap trio's performance on Tuesday night. At the time, a spokesperson for the force said: 'Any decision on the line-up at TRNSMT is for the organisers, and there was no prior consultation with Police Scotland before acts were booked. "Officers highlighted that the potential reaction of such a large audience to this band would require a significant policing operation in order to support the delivery of a safe event.' The group's removal from TRNSMT came amid controversy surrounding an ongoing investigation by counter-terrorism police into band member Mo Chara, who is facing charges in connection with allegedly displaying a Hezbollah flag during a previous performance. In response to their removal from the festival, Kneecap apologised to fans and organised a replacement show at the O2 Academy, which sold out in just 80 seconds. Before the gig, a video posted to the band's Instagram page showed a dog being led around their dressing room. A photo shared on their Facebook page also showed a van marked with a 'search dogs' sticker. It is understood that the dog was not a police sniffer dog and that no Police Scotland officers were involved in searching the venue.

"These aren't fast processes, but we're working with the authorities there and the NCA have individuals in those countries. "That's our link in and we're working very closely with them.' She issued a stark warning to those in the desert bolthole, saying: 'We are coming for you'.
