Powerball player wins big in California. Where was the lucky ticket sold?

A Powerball player in California won $427,953, just missing the $54 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Monday, June 9, the California Lottery said.
The lucky ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Alhambra, which is about a 10-mile drive northeast from downtown Los Angeles, lottery officials said.
California adjusts lottery prizes based on the number of tickets sold and number of winners.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $65 million, with a cash value of about $29.2 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, June 11, the national Powerball site said.
The winning numbers were 30, 33, 40, 43 and 52, with a Powerball of 25. The Power Play multiplier was 4x.
More than 240,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $200,000, the lottery said.
The Powerball jackpot was last won May 31, when a California player hit the $204.5 million grand prize.
What to know about Powerball
To score a jackpot in the Powerball, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.
The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 292,201,338.
Tickets can be bought on the day of the drawing, but sales times and price vary by state.
Drawings are broadcast Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:59 p.m. ET and can be streamed online.
Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
