Satya Dev Gets Emotional As Rao Bahadur Teaser Releases: ‘I've Pushed Myself Beyond Limits'
Pointing out that he had always given his everything to bring audiences the best cinematic experience, actor Satya Dev, on Monday, said that he had pushed himself beyond limits of the 'body, mind and soul" for his upcoming film Rao Bahadur.
Taking to his X timeline to pen an emotional note on a day the makers of the film released the teaser, Satya Dev wrote, 'I've always given my everything to bring you the best cinematic experience. With Rao Bahadur, I've pushed myself beyond limits body, mind, and soul. This one will be a true 'racha' in theatres next year. Forever indebted to my master craftsman @mahaisnotanoun a dream only he could imagine, and for choosing me to bring it to life. And to my loving producers @GMBents @SrichakraasEnts."

The teaser released on Monday shows Satya Dev as Rao Bahadur, who tells a person identified as Achari that he is possessed by a demon. While others dismiss his rantings as nonsense, he keeps claiming there is sense in what he says. At one point, he offers to explain and is given an opportunity. He says," Do you remember how when we were children, we would have fill in the blanks exercises?" To this, Achari replies in the affirmative. Rao Bahadur says, 'In that case,—— is a deadly demon. Fill in the blank." Achari replies, 'Doubt is a deadly demon." To this Rao Bahadur replies, 'That is the demon I am possessed by." Soon, we get to see a romantic story. And a character in an inspector's dress wondering why there is no synchronization between the two stories…
Ace director S S Rajamouli, who launched the teaser and was impressed by it, complimented the actor on his social media timelines.
Rajamouli wrote, 'Happy to see Satyadev evolving and portraying larger-than-life characters. My best wishes to him and Maha for #RaoBahadur. Can't wait to see what you guys are up to…"
Satya Dev responded to Rajamouli's post saying, 'Forever grateful Rajamouli Sir. You've shown us how far Telugu cinema can go, and your blessings for #RaoBahadur will push us to aim higher. Truly means a lot."
For the unaware, Rao Bahadur is a psychological drama set against the backdrop of a fading aristocracy. The Telugu film, which is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Venkatesh Maha, features Satya Dev playing the titular role of Rao Bahadur. The film is being presented by Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu & Namrata Shirodkar's GMB Entertainment and is being produced by A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments.

‘War 2' box office collection day 6 (LIVE): The Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR starrer starts Tuesday on a slow note after crossing Rs 180 crore
'War 2' released in theatres on August 14, a day before Independence day and clashed at the box office with 'Coolie'. While it's one of the biggest clashes of movies, it's also a long three-day weekend which may end up in the favour of both the movies. While on the first day, 'War 2' was behind 'Coolie' as both the movies made Rs 51.5 crore and Rs 65 crore respectively. However, even after making decent numbers over the weekend, 'WAR 2' saw a big drop on Monday, which is day 5. War 2 Movie Review On Saturday, the film made Rs 33 crore of which the Hindi version made Rs 26 crore. There was a huge drop in the collections of the Telugu version of the film. While the Telugu version made Rs 22.75 crore on Day 1, the number dropped to Rs 12.5 crore on Day 2 and more down to 50 percent of that on day 3. On Sunday, the total collection of 'War 2' in all languages was Rs 31.3 crore which was a drop from the Saturday numbers. And now on Monday, of course, it is expected that the film will be recording lower numbers when compared to the weekend. The Hindi version of the film specially if seen separately is considered dull. According to box office India, the film failed mainly because of its poor opening. Big-budget films like this can't afford to start with just average collections. Whether the movie is good or not comes later — the first day matters most. When a film is made on such a large scale, it needs a strong opening so that even if things go wrong later, it still ends up with decent numbers, like 'Tiger 3' did. But in this case, the opening day figures just didn't give it that chance. The drop is big, but part of it could be due to overall low business on Monday. Even a well-received film like 'Mahavatar Narsimha' saw a similar fall from its Sunday numbers, just like War 2. Monday's figures make it seem like War 2 might crash out soon, but that may not happen, since most films took a hit that day.
