Hamas: Our response to ceasefire offer was positive
Following the discussions, Hamas confirmed that it has officially submitted its response to the mediators, describing it as "positive." The proposal is aimed at ending the ongoing 'Israeli' aggression against the people of Gaza.
"The movement has delivered its response to the mediators, which was characterized as positive," the statement read. "Hamas is fully prepared and serious about immediately entering a round of negotiations on the mechanism for implementing this framework."
This development marks a potential breakthrough in efforts to secure a ceasefire and bring an end to months of the war on the Gaza Strip. It also reflects growing regional and international pressure to reach a negotiated solution amid worsening humanitarian conditions on the ground.
Hamas's declared readiness to begin immediate negotiations is expected to place pressure on all parties involved, particularly the 'Israeli' side, to engage constructively in talks aimed at finalizing a sustainable ceasefire agreement.

Senate, Arab Parliament discuss joint cooperation
Ammon News - Senate President Faisal Fayez received Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Yamahi and his accompanying delegation on Sunday, as part of an official visit to Jordan at the invitation of the Senate. Following formal talks, both sides signed a memorandum of cooperation to bolster parliamentary relations between Jordan's Senate and the Arab Parliament. The agreement includes exchanging expertise and knowledge in legislative affairs, training, and capacity building, in addition to coordinating positions at regional and international forums and promoting dialogue and parliamentary diplomacy in service of Arab interests. Fayez underscored the important role of the Arab Parliament and its leadership in advancing joint Arab action to meet the aspirations of Arab peoples. He stressed the need to activate Arab parliamentary diplomacy to help resolve the region's crises. He called for intensified and coordinated Arab parliamentary efforts to expose Israel's atrocities and brutal aggression to global public opinion and to press international parliaments to take clear and firm positions to halt Israeli aggression and enforce international court rulings against Israeli political and military figures accused of war crimes. Fayez also urged the Arab Parliament to convene an Arab economic summit to establish an economic union modeled after the European Union, aiming to boost economic cooperation, trade exchange, technology transfer, and ultimately create a common Arab market. He emphasized that confronting the region's current challenges requires Arab parliamentarians to strengthen and activate parliamentary institutions, bridge differences, and elevate these institutions to meet the ambitions of Arab citizens, advance joint Arab action, and unify political stances on key Arab causes. Fayez briefed the delegation on the latest regional developments, particularly the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and efforts to expand tensions. He highlighted Jordan's role, under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership, in working to end the Israeli aggression and supporting the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate rights. He stressed that Jordan remains strong through its leadership, people, security services, and armed forces, despite all challenges. For his part, Yamahi praised Jordan's distinguished parliamentary experience and the Arab Parliament's keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange best practices in parliamentary work. He commended Jordan's historical role under the Hashemite leadership in supporting Arab unity and defending Arab causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. He expressed the Arab Parliament's full support for His Majesty's efforts to achieve regional peace and resolve the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, reaffirming support for the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem. Yamahi noted that signing the memorandum of understanding with the Senate reflects the Arab Parliament's commitment to strengthening inter-Arab parliamentary cooperation, promoting shared dialogue, and addressing the region's pressing challenges. He added that the Arab Parliament is currently working to advance the shift to a digital economy, achieve Arab food security, empower women and youth, and establish a parliamentary forum for regional parliamentary leaders to confront challenges and achieve peace, security, stability, and development. Two Iran Guards killed clearing 'Israeli' explosives
Two members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed Sunday in western Iran while attempting to dismantle explosives in an area hit by 'Israeli' airstrikes during the 12-day war, local media reported. Israel launched strikes on Iran on June 13 with the stated aim of preventing it from acquiring nuclear weapons, a claim Tehran has consistently denied. Tasnim news agency, citing an IRGC statement, reported that "two Guards were killed Sunday in Khorramabad (west) while clearing an area of explosives left behind by the aggression of the Zionist regime." 'Israeli' strikes during the conflict resulted in the deaths of senior military officials and scientists involved in Iran's nuclear program. The Iranian judiciary authority stated that the "war" killed at least 936 people. A ceasefire between the two was announced on June 24. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended a religious ceremony in Tehran on Saturday, according to footage released by state media, marking his first public appearance since the ceasefire with 'Israel'. Iran announced Thursday that it had fully reopened its airspace, which had been closed on the first day of the war.

Shocking Hamas plot to infiltrate 'Israeli' intelligence unit with cleaning crew revealed
'Israeli' troops in Gaza uncovered an attempt by Hamas to infiltrate a base for the 'Israeli' Military Intelligence (Unit 8200) using a cleaning services tender, reports by Hebrew media said. Unit 8200 is an 'Israeli' Intelligence Crops unit of the 'Israeli' military that is responsible for clandestine operations, collecting electronic signal intelligence, counterintelligence, cyberwarfare, military intelligence, and surveillance. It is often likened to the US's National Security Agency (NSA). 'Israeli' soldiers operating in Gaza managed to capture documents for Hamas showing a plan to access a base for Unit 8200, using a cleaning service contract, 'Israel' Hayom said in a recent report. The Hamas plans were described as 'calculated'. An online cleaning services tender was put up for one of Unit 8200's facilities, which Hamas discovered and used as a 'potential pathway' to access the installation. The tender was posted after the events of Oct. 7, 2023, although the report did not specify when. After the 'Israeli' military discovered the plans, the cleaning services tender was put on hold and the military issued directives to strengthen security protocols for military publications on public internet space.
