Tori Kelly took to Instagram on Wednesday morning and exclusively told PEOPLE Magazine that she and her husband, retired German basketball player André Murillo, are expecting their first child.
The couple started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in September 2017. The two then tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2018. Currently, Kelly is on tour with Ed Sheeran, opening for his European leg alongside Myles Smith.
"This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband," Kelly told PEOPLE. "We are just so grateful for what's to come and can't wait to meet this little gift from God."
The season 9 American Idol contestant shared a heartwarming montage on Instagram and YouTube featuring sweet moments at home with her husband and clips of her cradling her baby bump at the beach. She set the video to an unreleased song, adding a personal touch to the announcement.

The soon-to-be-mother released her debut album Unbreakable Smile in 2015, which features hits like "Nobody Love."
In July 2023, Kelly was unexpectedly hospitalized due to blood clots in her legs and lungs after passing out during dinner. Less than a year after that experience, she released her most recent album, TORI, in April 2024, marking her fifth studio album.
As she gears up for motherhood, it's clear she has plenty of support and a lot to look forward to.

Playboi Carti's Debut Album Grows 176,000% In Sales In One Week

Playboi Carti's Music and Die Lit return to the Top Album Sales chart after vinyl releases, with ... More Music selling 16,500 copies and Die Lit jumping nearly 176,000%. LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 02: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Playboi Carti performs on the main stage during Day 2 of Wireless Festival 2022 at Crystal Palace Park on July 02, 2022 in London, England. (Photo by Joseph Okpako/WireImage) Fans of Playboi Carti waited years for Music to arrive. The full-length was pushed back multiple times before it finally dropped earlier this spring, quickly shooting to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Superfans of the rapper eagerly awaited the chance to own a copy of the project on vinyl, despite the fact that Carti hasn't historically emphasized that format. That changed when two of his most popular efforts were finally issued on wax recently, and both have become bestsellers. Music's 12,600% Sales Jump Both Music and Carti's debut album Die Lit saw dramatic increases in pure purchases once they were sold on vinyl. Of the two, Music emerged as the bigger winner this week. The 2025 effort sold 16,500 copies in the most recent tracking frame in the United States, according to Luminate. That's a jump of more than 12,600% from the period before the vinyl was issued. Die Lit's Sales Rocket 176,000% As impressive a leap as that is, Die Lit managed an even more spectacular gain. Originally released in 2018, the project was also issued on vinyl for the first time only a short while ago. Purchases skyrocketed, and Die Lit sold 12,300 copies in the U.S. last period. Before the vinyl became available, the album failed to generate even double-digit purchases. From one frame to the next, Die Lit experienced a sales increase of nearly 176,000%. Two Playboi Carti Albums Return to the Same Charts Both Music and Die Lit return to the Top Album Sales chart — and coincidentally, they now sit side-by-side. Even though Music sold several hundred more copies, the newer release reenters at No. 5, while Die Lit follows at No. 6. That marks an all-time high placement for Carti's debut on the list of the bestselling collections in the U.S. Music also surges on several other rankings, while Die Lit returns to four tallies. Both projects debut on the Vinyl Albums chart as well.

Post Malone's First Country Smash Ties His Biggest Pop Hit

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's 'I Had Some Help' becomes Malone's longest-running hit on the Radio ... More Songs chart, passing the 60-week run of 'Circles.' NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 05: Post Malone backed by Sublime With Rome headlines Bud Light's Dive Bar Tour In New York City (Photo byfor Bud Light) By the time Post Malone released his single "Circles," he was already one of the biggest names in the American music industry. He first found fame in hip-hop, but tracks like "Circles" turned him into a pop star, the type that could be counted on to produce not just big hits, but those that stick around for quite a long time. Attention and radio kept "Circles" going and turned it into one of the sturdiest smashes of the past decade – but even that track can no longer compete with Malone's first major country win. "I Had Some Help" Outlasts "Circles" Malone's first collaboration with Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," is still present on Billboard's Radio Songs chart this week. The tune rises one space to No. 19 as it celebrates 61 frames on the ranking of the biggest hits across all radio stations in the U.S. That number, as it turns out, is a special one for Malone. As "I Had Some Help" keeps on the Radio Songs ranking once again, it breaks out of its tie with "Circles" as Malone's longest-running success on the tally. "Circles" spent 60 weeks as one of the most played tracks on American radio, and now "I Had Some Help" is up to 61 turns on the same list. "Circles" Still Wins When it Comes to No. 1 While "I Had Some Help" has just passed "Circles" in terms of longevity, the latter remains the longer-running champion when it comes to running the show. "Circles" ruled the Radio Songs chart for 11 weeks, while "I Had Some Help" managed only about half as long of a stay, with five stints atop the tally. Post Malone and Morgan Wallen Rise at Country Radio Malone and Wallen have produced two huge hits together, as "I Ain't Coming Back," which is featured on Wallen's latest album I'm the Problem, followed 'I Had Some Help' by about a year. While that track doesn't appear on the Radio Songs chart at the moment — even though it's much newer than "I Had Some Help" — it does climb to No. 34 on the Country Airplay list. Previously, the pair's second duet peaked at No. 30 during its 11-week run on the ranking of the most successful tracks at country radio, and it could return to that peak position sometime soon.

Tom Walker: ‘Miracle' I made it through my TRNSMT set

Scottish singer Tom Walker has said it is a 'miracle' he made it through his TRNSMT set. The songwriter had finished his set in Buncrana in the north of Ireland at 12am on Sunday and had to make an overnight journey to Glasgow to play at 1:25pm the same day. Mr Walker, who was born in Kilsyth, rose to prominence in 2018 with the hit single 'Leave a Light On' and is also known for his song Just You and I. He played the mainstage of TRNSMT on Sunday afternoon for the first time in his career. He said it was 'really good' but admitted he had a 'crazy time getting here'. He told the PA news agency: 'We played in Buncrana last night. The set was at 10.30 at night, we finished at 12, got on a bus – not a tour bus, a wee mini-bus – drove five hours to Dublin airport from Belfast, got on the 6am flight and came straight here. 'I've not been to bed so I'm feeling the burn right now if I'm honest. 'I'm tired. My voice just about made it through that set which is a miracle.' He applauded his 'packed' Glasgow audience as 'amazing', especially given the 26C weather. The Scot said it was his best time at TRNSMT yet and his first on the main stage. Reflecting eight years on from his breakthrough hit, Mr Walker said: 'To be honest, I never ever thought I'd be able to pay my rent with music. 'Me and my partner bought a house four years ago together and I'm just so grateful. 'I never ever in my life thought I'd be able to sustain a living from music and I've gone far beyond anything I thought was possible. 'I'm just so grateful to everybody who's listened to my music, who has supported me, come to my gigs and bought my albums – thank you very much.'
