LEGENDARY Brazilians Flamengo will square off with Bayern Munich at the Hard Rock Stadium in the Club World Cup on Sunday.
Flamengo booked their place in the Round of 16 by topping Group D. Bayern had to be content with the runners-up spot in Group C, after finishing second to Benfica.

Flamengo vs Bayern Munich predictions
Flamengo was the home to the legendary Zico for the best years of his career, when the man dubbed the 'White Pele' was arguably the best player on the planet in the 1970 and 80s.
Once a team that could compete with the best Europe had to offer, Flamengo won the Intercontinental Cup in 1981, beating Liverpool 3-0.
Back then, the Intercontinental Cup was an annual one-off match between the South American and European champions - played to determine who the best team on the planet was. The competition was later to be replaced by the current FIFA Club World Cup. Winning it was a major achievement.
After the highs of the 19080s, Flamengo suffered a post-Zico slump and were in the doldrums for some time. But they are now back in the big time, and what better a way for them to reintroduce themselves to a new generation of fans than knocking out the great Bayern Munich.
Flamengo booked their place in the Round of 16 by winning Group D ahead of Chelsea, ES Tunis and LAFC. It wasn't the most difficult of groups, but in their biggest challenge, the Brazilians defeated Chelsea 3-1 in what was effectively the match to decide who topped the table.
Bayern Munich started their Club World Cup campaign by beating part-timers Auckland City 10-0. The Bavarians backed that ruthless display up by beating Boca Juniors 2-1 in their second match, a result that sealed their place in the Round of 16.
With only the top spot of the table left to play for, Bayern struggled to get going in their final group match. The Bavarians looked leggy and slightly lacking motivation in their 1-0 defeat to Benfica.
Although at the same time, you couldn't help thinking if they had found the equaliser, Vincent Kompany's team would have likely kicked on and won comfortably.
Flamengo vs Bayern Munich betting tips
Two legendary names meet looking for a place in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup. Both have won the preceding Intercontinental Cup, Bayern twice, Flamengo once. But only Bayern - with two wins - have picked up this title. If Flamengo are going to roll back the years and repeat history, they will have to do it the hard way. Our Flamengo vs Bayern Muich match tips follow:
Bayern to win and both teams to score
Bayern Munich are 7/10 to win in 90 minutes and we think that is a solid looking wager. We can only see a win for the Germans.
Flamengo sit top of their domestic Brazilian Serie A with 24 points from 11 matches. They have scored 24 goals and conceded just four.
Despite all the attacking talent Brazil boasts, their league isn't high scoring. Bragantino sit third and Palmeiras fourth in the table, they have scored 14 and 12 goals in 11 matches, respectively.
Flamengo are miles ahead with regards to goals scored. Therefore we think it's worth backing them to find the back of the net, which, combined with a Bayern win, pays a healthy looking 9/4.
Michael Olise to score or assist
The name of Michael Olise has started to come up in comparisons with Lamine Yamal and even in the conversations to win the Ballon d'Or. The argument being made in favour of the former Crystal Palace man is his stats.
Since joining Bayern Munich, Olise has played 53 matches in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 23 assists. Remember, this is his debut season since joining from Palace.
Okay, he's not going to win the Ballon d'Or, and to us neutrals, he isn't as good as Yamal, but try telling that to Vincent Kompany. The Bayern boss would probably tell us that Olise is one of the first names in his starting eleven and every bit as important to the Bayern team as Yamal is to Barça.
He is worth backing for another goal involvement against Flamengo.
Over 2.5 goals
We have already stated that we fully expect to see Bayern win this fixture. But at the same time, it's hard to know exactly how Flamengo will get on against the Bavarian giants.
If nothing else, we know that both teams like to attack and score goals - their respective statistics tell us that.
So if you're looking for an alternative bet, a wager on over 2.5 goals might be the way to go. Over 3.5 looks a possibility and is 7/4. We are sticking with over 2.5 as it covers a 2-1 win for either team.

Harvey Elliott's classy three-word message to Harry Kane's ‘heir' overheard on live TV after England beat Germany U21s

HARVEY ELLIOTT sent a classy message to rival Nick Woltemade as he pipped the forward to the Under-21 European Championships as England beat Germany in extra time to lift the trophy. Liverpool star Elliott was instrumental as Lee Carsley 's side retained the gong - the last time the Young Three Lions managed to do this was in 1982 and 1984. 4 4 The 22-year-old scored five goals en route to the final, including a brace in the semi-final against the Netherlands and the opener in the final. After going 2-0 down, Germany had clawed it back to 2-2 to send it to extra time, but not before hitting the crossbar at the end of regulation time. But Elliott's replacement on the pitch, Jonathan Rowe had a huge impact off the bench as he scored the winner. The victory ultimately helped Elliott win the Player of the Tournament award, just ahead of Woltemade, who was the competition's top scorer with six and joint top for assists with three. After the match, as the players exchanged handshakes, Elliott made his feelings about his rival clear. As the pair embraced in a hug, the Three Lions ace was heard saying to the forward: "Technical ability, incredible," with Woltemade then showing off a coy smile. Woltemade plays for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, but has been linked with a transfer to Bayern Munich this summer to star as Harry Kane 's long-term successor in Bavaria. The 6ft 6in striker - dubbed the Two Metre Messi - reportedly already has a five-year contract on the table, following a season where he scored 17 goals and added three assists in 33 games in all competitions. The 23-year-old is said to have already agreed personal terms over the move, though Stuttgart are reluctant to let him leave for any less than £85million - though Bayern value him at around £43m. Elliott later added: "You should be proud of yourself, well done." England 3 Germany 2- Young Lions retain Euro U21s crown in THRILLER as supersub Jonathan Rowe wins it in extra-time Woltemade's impressive season saw him make his full debut for Germany's senior team earlier this month. He started the Uefa Nations League semi-final against Portugal and the third-place playoff against France. Speaking after the game, boss Carsley - who is contracted to the Young Lions until 2027 - said: "I'm so proud, not of myself but of the players and the commitment that they have shown the last 28 days. "All the instruction we have tried to give to them, they have taken in on board so quickly. "They have so much belief, this squad believe that they can win. And that is the kind of players we need. "To be European champions for a second time is a great achievement and I suppose the challenge now is to do it again in two years." The Three Lions can only hope this winning feeling can be repeated by the senior men's and women's teams as well, with the latter kicking off their own European championship defence against France next Saturday. Sarina Wiegman's side was rocked by three senior stars pulling out of the provisional squad in Millie Bright, Fran Kirby and Mary Earps. 4
