Britney Spears recalls Colin Farrell memory as she twirls in negligee
Britney Spears twirled in a see-through negligee in her latest social media dance video.
The 43-year-old singer appeared to be enjoying some mimosas as she recalled a memorable evening with actor Colin Farrell.
'Last time I wore an actual nightgown out was a La Perla nightgown at a premiere with Colin Farrell,' she wrote, adding: 'I wonder why conservatorship had me wear three layers of tights for 20 years hmmm ???' But Britney got one of the details wrong.
When she attended the The Recruit premiere with Colin, now 48, in 2003, she actually wore a cream-toned pajama top, rather than a nightgown.
In her 2023 memoir, The Woman In Me, Britney wrote: 'In the course of our fun time together, [Colin] took me to the premiere of a spy thriller he was in called The Recruit with Al Pacino.'
Regarding her outfit, the Lucky singer said: 'I wore a pajama top.
'I thought it was a real shirt because it had miniature studs on it but I see the photos and I think, "Yeah, I definitely wore a full-blown pajama top to Colin Farrell's premiere."'
The two stars were in the midst of a passionate but brief fling at the time.
Explaining their ardor, the Billboard Music Award winner revealed: 'Brawl is the only word for it — we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight.'
Britney was under a court-ordered conservatorship for 13 years before being released in November 2021.
She alleged her estranged father Jamie Spears, 72, would constantly call her 'fat' and kept her on a strict diet of 'chicken and canned vegetables' for almost two years.
Regarding why she incorporates her hair into her wild online videos she explained that in her memoir as well.
'As performers, we girls have our hair,' she explained.
'That's the real thing guys want to see. They love to see the long hair move. They want you to thrash it. If your hair's moving, they can believe you're having a good time.'
'In the most demoralizing moments of my Las Vegas residency, I wore tight wigs, and I'd dance in a way where I wouldn't move a hair on my head,' she said, explaining why she was rebelling.
'Everyone who was making money off me wanted me to move my hair, and I knew it -so I did everything but that.'

Wicked: For Good first trailer reveals new songs, a wedding, and the first glimpse of Dorothy as fans try to figure out who will play the iconic character
The first trailer for Wicked's hotly-anticipated sequel has sent fans into a frenzy. Wicked: For Good is set to hit cinemas on November 21, with a first look at the movie conclusion of the Broadway hit teasing the fate of the protagonists and a first look at new characters. The sequel sees the return of Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North - with part two of the musical movie following their friendship after Elphaba was banished from Oz. Elphaba is living in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz's silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Glinda, meanwhile, has become the symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity as she prepares to tie the knot with Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey). From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She is also working under the instruction of Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) to convince the citizens of Oz that they have nothing to fear when it comes to The Wizard. Yet behind the scenes, Glinda is attempting to reconcile Elphaba and The Wizard, which only results in her being drawn further apart from her friend. As a result Boq (Ethan Slater) and Fiyero are set to be changed forever, while the safety of Elphaba's sister, Nessarose (Marissa Bode) comes into question. Just as tensions in Oz reach an all time high, a girl from Kansas comes crashing into all their lives. Fans went wild at the first glimpse of Dorothy - who was seen walking along the yellow brick road with the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow. Her face was obscured as she was shown from the back, with fans taking to X/Twitter to try and figure out her identity. They penned: 'the way we still don't know who plays as dorothy in wicked new trailer'; In wicked for good what if we don't see Dorothy's face the whole movie.?' 'So She brings Dorothy to Oz?'; 'i just watched wicked last sunday and it's so gooood oh i can't wait for this. show me dorothy pls!!'; 'Who do you think could be playing Dorothy in Wicked For Good?'; 'The crazy part about the Wicked: For Good trailer is the fact that there's still so much to come. We didn't see Nessarose or Boq. They recently filmed scenes at Shiz for this. We got a little of Dorothy's crew. This is just a glimpse. I can't wait to see it ALL unfold'; Several names have been put forward while fans try to guess who is Dorothy. The frontrunner so far is Alisha Weir, 15, who is best known for playing Matilda in the Netflix adaptation of Matilda the Musical and the titular character in the horror flick Abigail. Others have suggested that Addison Rae or Taylor Swift could be slipping into the iconic ruby red slippers. Last year's global cinematic cultural sensation, which became the most successful Broadway film adaptation of all time, now reaches its epic, electrifying, emotional conclusion in Wicked: For Good. Wicked: For Good is being directed again by award-winning Jon M. Chu, who has confirmed that there will be new, original songs in the sequel, along with fan favourites For Good and No Good Deed. Describing the tunes as 'bangers', he revealed: 'I think it's been reported we have two new songs. 'They're great additions to this movie. They were necessary in this movie to help tell the story.' In May, Ariana and Cynthia opened up about their experience with Wicked as they spoke with fans during CinemaCon. Poking fun at last year's promotional tour which saw the pair getting emotional in a number of interviews, Cynthia said that there will be 'less waterworks this time'. She added: 'but I am not sure we can live up to that', as Ariana humorously claimed that she already packed tissues. Late last year, Jon teased what viewers can expect with the sequel and told Entertainment Weekly, 'If Part 1 is about choices, Part 2 is about consequences. 'Choices are difficult to make, but when you do make those choices, sometimes the result isn't what you expect it to be. It can be lonely, it can be hard.' He also added, 'There's a lot of soul searching in movie 2. They're asking, "Is this the right decision that you made?"' The director later talked about the darker tone of the upcoming film, but shared that there will also be lighter elements. 'There is lots of lightness in the movie. There's a lot of fun parts. We've not forgotten about that, but there's a matureness and a nuance to it that we earn from the first movie. The second movie really gets to play with [that maturity].' Meanwhile Cynthia told People in February, 'I think you can expect a little bit of spice in the second part because they've grown up a little bit.' She explained that the characters are 'not in school anymore; they've stepped into their careers and stepped into their choices.' Wicked was a box office success and raked in around $747.2 million on a budget of $150 million.
