"We used Frenchic trim paint in the colour Stone Rosie for the cupboards, and we went with the trim paint because we wanted a sheen finish," she explained.
"And another amazing thing about it - it self primes and it self seals!
"We used a total of three tins."

To give the worktops a new look, she used the DC Fix Vinyl in Ribbeck Oak from B&Q.
It's heat resistant up to 70 degrees Celsius, but it's advisable not to put hot items directly on it - and to use worktop savers or trivets instead.
The final question Natalie answered in the clip was about her cupboard handles.
"I didn't realise how expensive new door handles would be and I needed a total of 18 and that wasn't cheap," she said.

What are the biggest kitchen trends of 2025?
The kitchen is the heart of every home and this year it's taking centre stage, Tracy Coleman, Product Director at
told Fabulous.
Hardworking appliances
Space-saving essentials are needed in every room of the house, and the kitchen is no exception, meaning appliances are often doing double (or triple) the job.
Expect to see air fryer ovens that roast, bake, and fry or blenders with attachments for everything from chopping to grinding.
Health and wellness
With people becoming more mindful of what they eat and how it impacts their well-being, kitchen appliances are stepping up to
meet the demand for healthier, more balanced lifestyles.
Air fryers remain hugely popular, along with blenders and juicers that retain nutrients.
Energy-bill conscious
Finally, with rising energy bills and an increased focus on sustainability, people are turning to appliances that help reduce power consumption and keep costs down.
More people are finding joy in cooking at home as a cost-effective
way to enjoy delicious, nutritious meals. Cooking at home doesn't just save money—it's also a fun way to bring the family together or experiment with new recipes.
With the right tools, such as multi-functional appliances and smart kitchen gadgets, creating meals at home becomes easier, faster, and more satisfying.
"We did three coats but could have got away with two.
"There's one door you can slightly see roller marks but unless you are close up, you'd never know!"
"Wow this is really inspiring," another added.
"It looks amazing. I desperately need to do mine," a third commented.

"That's flipping gorgeous - lovely and clean and bright!" someone else wrote.
"Looks brilliant, nice work and a bargain!" another praised.
"So many people, including me, get hooked on having someone into do jobs.
"This is proof you don't need to."

I decorated my garden with flowers – then my nosy neighbour asked if I had died, it was mortifying when he said why
A HOMEOWNER was left shocked by the text she received from her neighbour after doing up her garden. After practicing her green fingers, one woman was left baffled by the reaction of those who live around her. 3 A Reddit user shared the surprising reaction her neighbours had to her garden (stock image) Credit: Getty She took to Reddit to share the confusing interaction she had with one of her neighbours. The poster explained the extensive work she carried out in beautifying her front garden, focusing on wild flowers. "I've been trying to make a native yard. I have several sage and monkey flowers, yarrow, coyote bush, etc. I also spread baby blue eyes and clarkia seeds," she wrote. While the woman admitted she had been battling numerous weeds, she was proud with the transformation. Read More On Gardens BLOOMING LOVELY Gardening pro's 3 key jobs to do this weekend to stop rose black spot She added that the project had "been a lot of work", explaining: "Each year I think it gets closer to my vision." While her progress had been interrupted due to various life circumstances, she said: "I've been learning as I go and my neighbours have seen me trying." From digging up turf to laying mulch, planting shrubs, and watering, the Reddit user carried out the entire project by herself. "I watched some die, I replanted at a better time of year, I spread seeds", she continued. "Many neighbors are encouraging to my face when they see me out there." However, she received word from one of her neightbours that people in the area were concerned about the appearance of her garden. 'I was quoted £10,000 for a garden renovation but did it MYSELF for £1,000 using ChatGPT to show my kids what single mums can do' In fact, some residents had even reached out to him to ask about the Reddit user's well-being. "One neighbour who is kind of like the 'neighbourhood watchdog' just told me that people text him all the time asking if I have died or if I'm a renter and letting weeds take over," she said. She explained that she didn't know why this assumption bothered her so much. "I live in an old neighborhood and the crowd is of an older generation that prefers lawns, but like all this effort and people assume [I'm] a renter trashing the place or that I've died... really?" she said. The Reddit user concluded that the lack of appreciation for her flourishing garden "just hurts". "You're doing a very cool thing - don't let haters give you doubt," one Reddit user wrote. "Put a sign in the front yard - 'pardon the weeds - native garden in progress!' It's worked for my son and DIL," suggested another person. "No matter what you do... Someone won't like it," pointed out a third commenter. More on gardening One homeowner turned their garden into a Bridgerton paradise with a charity shop find. Data from FlightAware shows that the plane travelled between McMinnville, Oregon, Fresno, California, and Nampa, Idaho one week before the crash. The family's loved ones called the loss 'immeasurable", saying, 'to say we miss them doesn't come close.' 'I'm a professional cleaner, I always start with one task when tackling kitchen'
Keeping the home clean is an ongoing task that requires attention to many rooms and areas, especially the kitchen, which typically contains major appliances like a fridge, oven and cooker, along with a sink, storage units, cooking tools and countertops. A kitchen is susceptible to becoming grubby as it's the hub for preparing and storing food and drinks. Charlotte, a professional home cleaner, shares cleaning tips and advice on TikTok, offering her followers a glimpse into her daily work. In one of her videos, she walked viewers through a step-by-step routine she follows when cleaning a specific client's kitchen. She explained: "So the same with every room that I clean I always start off with high dusting." Charlotte showed how she starts by dusting high up on walls and ceilings using an extendable magnetic duster, Mirror UK reports. Then she tackles the cupboard fronts with a microfibre cloth, ensuring she sprays any cleaning products onto the cloth rather than directly onto the cupboards to prevent staining and dripping. She also cleans the dining table with the same cloth, along with everything on the table, like placemats. The cleaning professional then wipes down the chairs. Following this, she moves on to cleaning the countertops using the Jangro Premium Citrus Cleaner, scrubbing it across all the surfaces. Charlotte sanitises all the switches as she navigates the kitchen, including any appliances. She then tackles the cooker's backsplash, followed by the gas hob. The cleaning expert uses Bar Keepers Power Clean to banish grime from the hob's base. She buffs it dry with a clean cloth and ensures that the product is fully removed, cautioning that Bar Keepers Power Clean contains acid which could cause damage if left on surfaces. Charlotte uses a soap-filled scouring sponge to clean the upper parts of the hob, such as the burner caps and plates. She finds this sponge effective at scrubbing away tough brown stains that often appear on hobs. Next, Charlotte scrubs the pan supports using either washing up liquid or the same citrus cleaner she applied to the countertops. The professional cleaner added: "I then went ahead and cleaned the island all around the sink before I moved onto the sink." The bin area is next on her list. Charlotte sprays it with disinfectant, allows it to work its magic, then wipes it down. She continues by disinfecting all door handles, light switches and sockets, then dusts the skirting boards and door frames. This is followed by "general dusting", which includes cabinets, mirrors and lamps. Charlotte concludes her routine by vacuuming and mopping the entire floor. In her TikTok video caption, she reveals that this thorough process is her "regular weekly maintenance clean." A number of users followers flocked to the comments section to express their admiration for Charlotte's meticulous cleaning routine. One said: "You're way more diligent than our cleaners. That's my level of clean." Another exclaimed: "You are a magician!!! I would love to have you sort my house out!!"
