The ancient city of AlUla has transformed into house music central as it unveils the full line-up of artists set to deliver unforgettable beats at Poolside by AZIMUTH. This one-of-a-kind summer series offers up an exclusive blend of music, luxury and desert serenity, and runs every weekend until 30 August.
Designed for music lovers and luxury seekers alike, Poolside by AZIMUTH invites guests to soak in the beats and escape the summer heat from 4pm to 1am every weekend and bask under AlUla's starlit skies.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of AlUla's desert landscape, Poolside by AZIMUTH will take place across four top luxury hotels: Our Habitas AlUla, Banyan Tree AlUla, Dar Tantora The House Hotel and Shaden Resort. Each weekend offers a carefully curated lineup of talented DJs and artists, creating a unique atmosphere where guests can unwind and celebrate summer in style.
Sunsoak at Our Habitas AlUla (25–26 July)
Immerse yourself in the soulful rhythms of organic house and melodic beats at Our Habitas AlUla. On 25 July, enjoy performances by Yebari DJ Rawad and Elemento, followed by sets from IGX, Yan Musik, and Spacegurrl on 26 July.
Golden Hour at Banyan Tree (1–2 August & 8-9 August)
Feel the pulse of House and Disco House as Banyan Tree AlUla transforms into a haven of groove and glamour. Over two nights, artists including ROULAD, HAKIM, BASSLAW, OZZY, SALTY KH, and DJ LARGO will deliver electrifying sets under the stars. Taking over the decks on 8-9 August, KARAM MUSIK, HAFFS, SOUL, JK ERROR, CHILLS and APPIE bring two nights of deep rhythms, slick transitions and sonic elevation to AlUla.
House of Soleil at Dar Tantora The House Hotel (15–16 August)
As the sun sets on the ancient labyrinthine AlUla Old Town, a mellow flow of oriental – organic house takes over at Dar Tantora The House Hotel. With performances by SNOWZARD, SALTY KH, DJ BREEZE, 2ME, AMP, and SILVIO, these breezy evenings promise soft beats and soulful energy.
Last Light at Shaden Resort (22–23 August & 29–30 August)
Celebrate the final weekends of Poolside by AZIMUTH at Shaden Resort with two spectacular events. On 22–23 August, let the flowing rhythms of SNOWZARD, APPIE, BRQ, YAYA, DJ BREEZE, and IMMORTAL set the tone. Then, close out the series on 29–30 August with music grooves from RAG, SOUL SHARKK, AMP, KEH, and VIVA. This step allows owners of local SIM cards to use the Nusuk app and all its services without requiring an active data plan or internet connection, explained ministry spokesperson Ghassan Al-Nuwaimi. Pilgrims can avail themselves of services provided by the app, such as the issuance of permits, booking Haramain High Speed Train tickets, navigating through Nusuk maps, using the Nusuk AI feature, and submitting reports and inquiries — all without consuming mobile data. Nusuk platform CEO Ahmed Al-Maiman said the new Nusuk app's feature is expected to provide pilgrims further ease and convenience and also helps improve crowd management, provide instant access to essential information and services, reduce the number of lost individuals, and speeds up verification of permits upon entry.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) announced on Wednesday it would hold the first-ever futsal national team tryouts in Lahore on Aug. 10, as it gears up for its upcoming AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers to be held in Saudi Arabia next month. Emphasizing close control, quick passes and creativity, it is known for its speed and frequent goal-scoring opportunities. In Pakistan, the game has rapidly gained popularity over the years, particularly among youth, thanks to its dynamic and skill-driven nature. 'Open to futsal players across the country, the tryouts will take place on August 10, 2025, at the 5th Generation Sports Complex in DHA Phase 8, Lahore, from 9am to 6pm,' the PFF said in a statement. 'The players must bring valid identification, including a passport and CNIC, to be eligible for selection.' The PFF will finalize the squad in due course and the training camp will begin in the first week of September, it added. With the announcement of the national team's first-ever tryouts, Pakistan is making its official entry into international futsal, which marks a significant milestone in the sport's growth within the country. Pakistan has been placed in Group D alongside Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Chinese Taipei for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers, scheduled from Sep. 20 to 24. Group stage matches will be held in Dammam, with Pakistan set to face Iraq on Sep. 20, Saudi Arabia on Sep. 22, and Chinese Taipei on Sep. 24. AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 will be held in Indonesia next year.
