'Walking has changed my life, and it's so easy on your joints. I wear a weighted vest to maximize the benefits of my walk. I started with 12 lbs. but now walk with 32 lbs. and shoot for an hour a day.'
— Scarlett Longstreet
'If you have little ones and are looking for pockets of free time to get walking without them, I'd say outdoors is so much easier than parenting indoors! Just take them with you. It will hopefully tire them out! And remember, however many snacks you think are enough to pack for your wee ones — double it!'
— Zahrah
'Use your Hot Girl Walk time wisely. I do gratitude practice, goal-setting and affirmations. I love a podcast and an audiobook, but I make sure I spend a good amount of my Hot Girl Walk time doing those three things. … It just gets me in the right headspace.'
— Mia Lind
'Instead of meeting up for coffee, invite your friends, families or colleagues out for a walk. It could be a walking catch-up or a walking meeting. It's a great way to connect and keep the creative juices flowing — and it's free!'
— Kiersten Brydie
'Curate your walk like an experience. Whether it's with friends, co-workers or solo, make it creative, fun and tailored to what you love. Try something new, like a walking tour, and go on a local adventure. Wander a new neighborhood, discover your next favorite cocktail bar or uncover the history behind local landmarks. Walking isn't just about steps, but an opportunity to connect with your community intentionally.'
— Cecilia Romero
'Using a fitness tracker makes you accountable, tracks your process regularly and helps you incorporate walking into your daily routine. Start by setting realistic walking goals, and gradually increase the number of steps as you get fitter. Tailor notifications to avoid information overload and ensure you're only exposed to metrics that matter to you.'
— Paul English
'I love a good micro walk; adding 500 to 1,000 steps can be a great way to interrupt sitting at work. A micro walk is a way to change your mood, reduce your blood pressure, improve circulation and enhance your gut motility. I've started encouraging my co-workers to do 'walk and talk' meetings where instead of sitting, we go for a walk either in our building or around the block. It's a great way to stack your habits and make a measurable impact on your health.'
— Milica McDowell
'I focus on habits that keep me active throughout the day. I start my morning with a walk outside, habit-stacking by sipping my electrolytes and greens while listening to a personal development podcast or audiobook. It sets a productive tone for the day and gently prepares my body for more stimulating foods and movement. During the workday, I use a walking pad under my desk, which allows me to stay active during meetings.'
— Kristina Turnure
'I prefer to walk in shoes that provide a good balance of comfort, support and durability, like well-cushioned running shoes or sturdy walking shoes with good arch support. The right pair makes a huge difference in how enjoyable and effortless the walk feels. Personally, my favorite shoes are the On Cloudstratus — they offer the perfect blend of cushion, stability and lightweight comfort.'
— April Medrano
'Walking in nature-filled spaces like parks, forests, trails or even tree-lined streets can help us relax. When we walk without earbuds, we are tuned in to our bodies and our brains in those surroundings. The body and brain react very differently to manmade noises, such as honking horns and jackhammers vs. sounds of nature like birds. [The latter] can help us relax without us even realizing it.'
— Jennifer Walsh
'If you are looking to get more fitness bang for your walking buck, one of the best things you can do is add intervals to your walk. Intervals are brief periods of higher effort followed by periods of recovery. For example, after a few minutes of warm-up, you raise the intensity for 30 to 60 seconds and then slow it back down, giving your body a minute or two to fully recover. You can achieve that higher intensity by increasing your walking speed, finding a hill or set of stairs to climb or even adding a brief jog. Intervals are incredibly effective at improving cardiovascular fitness, torching more calories in less time and firing up your metabolism.'
— Joyce Shulman
'If your treadmill inclines, adding hills to your walks can keep you more engaged with your workout and get your heart rate higher while keeping the speed consistent. For walking pads and treadmills that don't have incline capabilities, consider using a [weighted] vest. You will want to check your treadmill's weight capacity to see how much weight you can use, but weighted walks are an excellent way to continue progressing your fitness level. Some walkers may also feel comfortable walking backward to add variety and intensity to their walks, but I only recommend this if you have good balance and decent treadmill handles to hold on to.'

Behold, a Very Honest Review of CAKES Nipple Covers 2025
As someone who spends a lot of time thinking about clothes, I inevitably spend lots of time figuring out the right undergarments to go underneath, too. Grappling with uncomfortable strapless bras and sticky bras that lose their stick after two wears (or worse, start to slide off while you're wearing them at a White Elephant party where you're meeting all of your boyfriend's friends...) was just a fact of life... Or so I thought, until I saw a TikTok of a woman demonstrating a non-sticky, adhesive-free nipple covers that magically stuck to her arm. It turns out that the rest of Cosmo's Team Shop had also been seeing the same things on their FYP, so we got our hands on said magical nipple covers, aka the grippy CAKES from CAKES Body, to do a full review. Yes! The grippies are 100% silicone, and they utilize body heat to create that magical, adhesive-free stick. If they're cold when you apply them, try warming them up for a bit before reapplying. The warmer they are, the better they are at gripping onto your skin! They come in two shapes (circle or triangle), three colors (Honey, Caramel, or Cocoa) as well as 3 sizes (AA-A, B-DD, and DDD+). You can wash them and reuse them over and over, too. All of this sounded a little too good to be true to me, but I packed mine for a week long trip that involved swimming in the ocean in Mexico and dancing the night away in a cocktail dress in an Alabama country club. And it turns out that the grippies held up incredibly well—I found myself reaching for them over and over. The CAKES were equally perfect for one-piece swimsuits that showed a little too much nip for my personal comfort, workout rompers that didn't come with any lining (I am once again asking designers WHY would you do that???), and wedding guest dresses that I'd prefer to go braless for. Senior Visual Editor Emily Adar is a longtime fan of CAKES, too: 'I don't know what this magic technology is, but the grippies are perfection. I forget that I'm wearing them but yet I look so much better in a fitted tank, tshirt, or dress.' And Associate Commerce Editor Lauren Gruber put them to the test by wearing them for 10+ hours while walking 12,000 steps on an 'unreasonably hot spring day' and was thoroughly impressed by the end of it. "Going braless as someone with a bigger chest can be challenging, to say the least, but these made me feel more confident. They stayed all day long beneath a thin camisole, and felt (and looked) like I was wearing nothing at all. Plus, I love how the triangle shape stays hidden beneath plunge necklines and halter tops.' Pro application tip from Associate Editor Annabel Iwegbue: "Do notttt moisturize before putting these on. This is actually an official tip in the instruction packet that I ignored and regretted later. Having slick skin make the sticking process incredibly frustrating and slightly demoralizing. The dryer your boobs the better.' The only downside is that although I found the grippies to be very secure under form-fitting clothing, they were never meant to grip your skin perfectly under super loose, baggy clothing. That's when you have to bring out the big guns (adhesive), and thankfully, CAKES just dropped a nip-friendly version of their iconic grippies that are still just as smooth and reusable, but with medical-grade adhesive backing. I was doubtful about liking these, because sometimes I find stick-on bra products to be really itchy after a few hours, but I truly forgot that I was wearing the sticky CAKES under my dress all day. They create a truly smooth, seamless appearance (unlike some other sticky covers that give you a visible circular outline under your shirt) and there's even a special Nip Nook™️, an adhesive-free circle in the center of the stickies to avoid any pain during removal. Video Editor Sarah Ng, a self-proclaimed bra hater, tested these out and said that they passed with flying colors. "I had the perfect shirt in mind to be the ultimate test for the sticky CAKES—a fully backless rayon halter top that simply was not giving with a bra. The CAKES gave me a nice shape, survived an entire day in the sun (sweat and all!), and I truly forgot I was even wearing them. I had to do a few impromptu checks throughout the day because I couldn't believe how comfortable and undetectable they were.' The only downside that Sarah noted was that after washing them and rewearing them, she noted some very slight rippling around the edges of the covers that was hard to flatten, although it wasn't an issue when she actually put them on. Senior Commerce Manager Mackenzie Dunn tried hers on underneath a slinky, clingy bridesmaid dress after being recommended CAKES by another bridesmaid, and found them they're both sleek and offer amazing coverage, making them undetectable even under the trickiest dresses. And Sex & Relationships Editor Veronica Lopez explained to me that while she doesn't often reach for sticky boobs because they don't offer enough support, she decided to wear her CAKES under a dress with adjustable straps and 'was SHOCKED at how supported' she felt. "The adjustable straps dress + CAKES combo was such a pleasant surprise. I don't remember the last time I went braless and felt this good.' Not sure which one is going to be the best fit for your needs? Here's a little TL,DR: At the end of the day, I'm sure that your drugstore nipple covers you bought at CVS last year still work (sort of), but CAKES are the Lamborghinis, the Sheertexes, the Don Julios of stick-on covers. They're so comfortable that most of our testers mentioned forgetting they were wearing them, and they're one of the most innovative options out there on the market right now for a decently-affordable price. So if you're ready to up your braless outfits game, CAKES will help you take things to the next level. What is Bop House on TikTok? Florida OnlyFans content creators make millions. What to know
A group of seven women who live in one Fort Lauderdale mansion are pulling in about $250 million a year by posting on OnlyFans and making lifestyle videos, to the tune of a collective 90 million people watching across social media platforms. They call themselves 'bops' and their content creation house the 'Bop House.' 'In a May 14 TikTok that's since racked up 4 million views, the house's residents dance in barely-there bodycon dresses in front of brightly lit signs spelling out 'BOPS,'' USA TODAY reported this week. 'They fly on private jets to the Super Bowl, own Porsches and Lamborghinis and rack up $4,000 dinner bills on a night out.' Here's what a 'bop' is, who lives in the Bop House and how much it costs to rent the waterfront home. Is it problematic? Online, young female OnlyFans stars make their lives look aspirational. A 'bop' is 'a term for a person who has had many sexual partners, or who presents themself online in a way that is thought of as immodest (such as posting pictures or video with revealing clothing),' according to Merriam-Webster's slang definition of the word. To some social media users, 'bop' also means 'baddie on point,' and to many TikTok users and creators, the slang word is nearly synonymous with 'sex worker.' The Bop House is 'your new favorite girls only influencer house,' according to the Bop House official TikTok account. The account is currently made up of seven women (at one point, eight women) who are all OnlyFans content creators and social media influencers. While their OnlyFans content is explicit and pornographic, their other social media accounts, like their shared TikTok account, focus on their general lifestyle and all the perks that come with making millions online. They've posted house tours of their ritzy Fort Lauderdale waterfront rental, participate in trending TikTok sounds and challenges and clear up drama surrounding their livelihoods and living situation. 'The name 'Bop House' nods to the Gen Z slang term 'bop,' meaning a woman who has had many sexual partners,' USA TODAY reported. 'Many of their videos poke fun at the term, and they respond to commenters saying they should 'get a real job.'' Alina Rose, one of the Bop House members, told USA TODAY that her critics partly inspired her to move into a house with other content creators. 'They're going to call us bops no matter what,' she told USA TODAY. So she decided to lean into it with like-minded women. And the venture has been profitable, helping the women find financial freedom. But it also comes with drawbacks, like the danger of glamorizing the adult content creating lifestyle to young girls who may be watching their videos. Sophie Rain, the 20-year-old who co-founded the Bop House in December 2024, told USA TODAY that she grew up in a big family that relied on food stamps and is now their primary breadwinner, earning $43 million in her first year. 'She paid off her parents' mortgage and $15,000 in property taxes and gifted her older brother his dream car, a BMW M2, with her salary,' USA TODAY reported. 'Rain considers herself a feminist, and hopes the Bop House will help de-stigmatize adult entertainment creators. Still, every now and then, she hesitates to press 'post' knowing how young girls might interpret her videos.' The residents of the Bop House have come and gone, at one point having eight members and now having seven. Sophie Rain founded the house with Aishah Sofey. Camilla Araujo, Alina Rose, Summer Iris, Ava Reyes and Julia Filippo also currently live in the house. They use the high-end home as the backdrop to their OnlyFans and social media content. The Bop House has changed locations a few times, due to the address being leaked and endangering the women that live there. One of the women's most recent houses is in an Intracoastal neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. According to the Broward County Property Appraiser, the Fort Lauderdale home is worth around $6 million. The women have also recently lived in a multi-million dollar home overlooking Biscayne Bay in Miami. Whichever home they're in now, it has a steep rent, at $75,000 a month – not as huge a sum as it seems when split between seven women who each make a few million a year. The content creators told USA TODAY that they make around $250 million a year collectively.
