Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted Out On 'Date Night' Before 'Football Days'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted Out On 'Date Night' Before 'Football Days' originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been largely out of the public eye since the Super Bowl loss, with their appearances being few and far between.
With the negative attention aimed at the pair, they've retreated and now only make a select few appearances, if you want to call them that, and now, as the NFL offseason begins to click into gear, Travis and Taylor were recently spotted out together on what we assume to be a date night in Florida.
The pair was seen leaving a restaurant with fans capturing the couple as they made their way to a parked car, with Kelce being heard saying "hi guys" to the group of fans that had been waiting outside in a video posted to X.
So the couple, while keeping their public appearances to a minimum, still find time to go out and be a "regular" couple when there is a horde of fans waiting outside for them.
But "date nights'' are about to turn into "football days.''
With Kelce entering what many feel is the final year of his NFL career, we believe that Swift will be right alongside him, as she won't be touring in 2025. Will that mean Swift will be at Arrowhead Stadium for some of Travis' games? "Swifties" sure hope so, but given the backlash the couple faced after the Super Bowl, we aren't sure if Taylor will be at all of Kansas City's home games.
Still, 2025 looms as an important year for Kelce and Swift, with many eager to see what the next chapter of their relationship will bring.
Is there a house, wedding, or something bigger on the horizon? Or will we simply see them out and about more often? Either way, 2025 could be a big year for the power couple.

WNBA Makes Announcement About Player Involved in Sophie Cunningham Incident
WNBA Makes Announcement About Player Involved in Sophie Cunningham Incident originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After the first month of the WNBA season, this year's rookie class is already making its mark on the league. Advertisement Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings, Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron of the Washington Mystics, Te-Hina Paopao of the Atlanta Dream, and Sarah Ashlee Barker of the Los Angeles Sparks are just a few of the rookies that are off to hot starts. Iriafen, in particular, was a standout in the month of May, averaging a double-double with 13.9 points and 10.1 rebounds through seven games. Her rebounds per game not only led all rookies but also ranked fourth across the entire league. Fans may recall an incident involving Iriafen and Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever during a preseason game on May 3. Cunningham was grabbed from behind by Iriafen during a rebound attempt, causing her to fall to the floor. However, Cunningham quickly recovered and both players exchanged a few words. Washington Mystics forward Kiki IriafenEmily Faith Morgan-Imagn Images Iriafen's solid play was rewarded when the WNBA announced on Wednesday that she has been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month. Advertisement "🏀@Kia Rookie of the Month🏀," the WNBA wrote on X. "Kiki Iriafen averaged 13.9 PPG, 10.1 RPG, and 1.0 APG to earn May rookie of the month honors for the Washington Mystics!" Iriafen is one of only six players in league history to average a double-double in points and rebounds through the first seven games of their career, joining the ranks of Tina Charles, Candace Parker, and Yolanda Griffith. Iriafen was selected No. 4 overall by the Mystics in April's draft. She was a third-team All-American in her lone season at USC (2024-25), averaging 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Iriafen previously played for the Stanford Cardinal from 2021-2024, where she averaged 19.4 points and 11 rebounds per game during her third season. Booger McFarland's Bold Take on Commanders' Jayden Daniels
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Last season, Jayden Daniels put the NFL on notice by putting together a strong rookie campaign for the Washington Commanders. As he prepares for year two, one analyst is very confident in the young quarterback's trajectory. It did not take long for Daniels to prove to the world why the Commanders were smart to select him No. 2 overall in the 2024 draft. He came out of the gates strong, throwing for over 3,500 yards and racking up 25 touchdowns in the regular season. Behind Daniels' impressive play, Washington picked up 12 wins and punched their ticket to the playoffs. The rookie QB then went on to lead them to upsets over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions before falling short against the Philadelphia Eagles. Based on how he played as a rookie, Daniels is now a player many are excited to see take the field in 2025. Despite only entering his second season, one former player has set high expectations for the Commanders' QB. During an appearance on "NFL Live" this week, Booger McFarland touched on the idea of Daniels helping Washington emerge as a contender. Jayden Daniels #5 of the Washington Commanders throws a pass against the Philadelphia Eagles during the first quarter in the NFC Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field. Jayden Daniels #5 of the Washington Commanders throws a pass against the Philadelphia Eagles during the first quarter in the NFC Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field."They know as long as he stays healthy and everyone around him does their part, he makes that next jump," McFarland said. "We're not just talking about a team that can get into the playoffs, you're talking about a team that could have one of the elite quarterbacks in the National Football League. And when you have one of those guys, that gives you an opportunity to win a championship." .@AdamSchefter and @ESPNBooger talk about how Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are building toward a championship 📈 "We're talking about Washington being a model NFL franchise. ... This is the type of universe we're now living in." — NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) June 4, 2025 These are big shoes to fill for a player in just their second season, but Daniels could be ready to make such a leap. Having led the franchise to a pair of playoff wins as a rookie, he seems poised to be a pillar for the Commanders for years to come. One thing that will be different this time around is Daniels understands what he's heading into now. With a year of experience under his belt, he had a full offseason to work on parts of his game that need to improve at the pro level. With this understanding, the former No. 2 pick should be ready to take another step forward in 2025. Washington understands the talent they have in front of them and wasted no time upgrading the cast of players around Daniels. Their biggest splash was acquiring Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers. All the pieces are in place for Daniels to lead the Commanders up the ranks in the NFL. Only time will tell if the dynamic QB is able to remain on the path towards stardom and avoid a sophomore slump.
