
Minor Figures teams up with Human Made to create a limited-edition collection
Human Made, the lifestyle brand from Japanese designer, DJ, and entrepreneur Nigo, has parted with internationally known plant-based milk alternative label Minor Figures to create a limited-edition, collaborative capsule collection.
Marking the first-ever brand collaboration from Minor Figures, the partnership is the result of an 'organic and authentic mutual appreciation', as Nigo himself has been a fan of Minor Figures for several years.
With a growing appeal that extends well beyond the core plant-based market, Minor Figures' collaboration with Human Made felt in line with increasing consumer demand for new, expressive ways to engage with and represent the brand. The Human Made for Minor Figures limited-edition collection brings the best of both brands' creative worlds in a unique way. The collection, set to launch on May 21, includes eight pieces: a sweatshirt, a graphic t-shirt, an apron, oat milk sleeve, a milk bag, a milk bottle, a kitchen cloth, and a debut co-branded oat milk carton.

The Human Made for Minor Figures capsule collection is set to launch online at the Human Made store and via the Minor Figures online store this Saturday, with retail prices set to range from 5.50 dollars for the kitchen cloth to 483 dollars for the limited-edition art toy.

The Panthers have +15000 odds to win the Super Bowl in 2025, the sixth-worst in the NFL. The team will likely stay with Bryce Young at quarterback, with hopes of winning the NFC South appearing a little out of reach, much less being on the doorstep of a championship. Heading into both previous NFC Championship seasons, the Panthers looked the part, while they do not this year. In the previous two seasons against the Jaguars, the Panthers played the rest of Jacksonville's division as well. That is not the case for the upcoming season, as the Panthers will play the four teams of the AFC East for its inter-conference matchups.

Mountainhead is a tech-bro horror show
Sky Here in my TV critic's penthouse, with its giant bags of snacks, hand-knitted throws and wraparound 24/7 flatscreens, Jesse 'Succession' Armstrong has at last chucked me some more red meat to chew on in the form of Mountainhead, a film he has both written and directed. Obviously, I couldn't be more pleased. The stomach has been rumbling for a while now. I still miss his last lot of monsters; part of me will always mourn Tom Wambsgans. But it has to be said that the new bunch are too unambiguously cold – yes, even by the standards of the Roys – for maximum enjoyment. Also, for those of a nervous disposition, I would just quietly note that it's not beyond the bounds of possibility the dystopian future it so terrifyingly depicts could arrive in – checks smart watch, ignoring its advice to 'take a moment' – ooh, about six hours' time. It goes like this. Four tech bros, some of the richest men in the world, are weekending at Mountainhead, a rebarbative looking architect-designed house in deepest snowy Utah (it's named for Ayn Rand, as I'm sure you've guessed); their host is its owner, the the poorest of them (yet to make his first billion), Hugo Van Yalk (Jason Schwartzman), whose brainchild is a wellness app called Slowzo. The gathering is a reunion: these men-children, who once masturbated together on a biscuit, call themselves the Brewsters; they like bragging, banter, poker and working themselves up into a frenzy about transhumanism and freedom of speech. But behind the group hug, tension crackles like an old dial-up connection. The oldest, Randall (Steve Carell), is pretending his cancer is cured. His one-time protégé, Venis (Cory Michael Smith), is twitchily trying to ignore the fact that the launch of an AI feature on his social network, Traam, has broadcast so much disinformation that the world is rapidly descending into violence and chaos. Venis, in turn, is desperate to make up with Jeff (Ramy Youssef), whose own AI business is able to tell audiences what's real, and what's not. He's desperate to buy it. But alas, they fell out when they appeared on, yes, a podcast. As 'genocide-adjacent' events occur everywhere from India to Uzbekistan, and Argentina and Italy default on their debts, Jeff's stock is rising rapidly, even as his conscience is vaguely pricked (to locate such a conscience involves much scrolling). He's not selling. The dialogue is sharper than a premium Japanese knife, and often very funny. Jeff asks Hugo, aka Soups (a nickname that's short for soup kitchen, because they think he's such a failure), if his antiseptic house was 'designed by Ayn Bland'. Venis tells Randall, who wants to know if his company has a timeline for uploading human consciousness and if so, can he be first up, that, yes, 'Daddy' can be number one 'on the grid', but only after it has been tested on 'a mouse, a pig, and ten morons'. The attention to detail, rich-living-wise, is unimpeachable. Hugo's staff have a whole turbot ready for 'picking' – picking fish are all the rage – as well as about 8,000 sliders, and every kind of olive, fruit, artisan ham and cheese you can think of. The house (obvs) has a full-size bowling alley, a cinema and – most important of all – water pressure that gives you bruises when you shower. But, it almost goes without saying, no one's happy. The anhedonia of the rich, of which I'm lately only half-convinced, is made explicit when the four of them don matching orange ski suits as if they were prisoners. And, as my granny used to say, much shall have more, of course. The first half of Mountainhead is better than the second, when greed and Musk-like excess takes over, and it all gets a bit Lord of Flies, only with cigars, saunas and the possibility of a pre-pardon from the US president. Still, I stuck with it, and you will, too. Partly, it's the transfixing amorality, an abyss you detect in Bezos, Zuckerberg and all the others who are suddenly so pumped and obeisant to Trump. But the performances are magnetically pitch perfect as well: Carell in his knitwear, Michael Smith with his waxy, Jared Kushner face. It's a 90-minute horror show. All I'd say is: best not to watch it just before bedtime. to a T review – surrealism and empathy from the maker of Katamari Damacy
Having your arms stuck in a permeant T-pose leads to a wonderfully surreal narrative adventure, in this new indie treat from Katamari creator Keita Takahashi. Keita Takahashi seems to be a very nice man. We met him back in 2018, and liked him immensely, but we're genuinely surprise he's still working in the games industry. He rose to fame with the first two Katamari Damacy games but after leaving Bandai Namco his assertion that he wanted to leave gaming behind and design playgrounds for children seemed like a much more obvious career path, for someone that absolutely doesn't want to be stuck making sequels or generic action games. That's certainly not been his fate and while titles like Noby Noby Boy and Wattam were wonderfully weird and inventive they weren't the breakout hits that his bank balance probably needed. His latest refusal to toe the line probably isn't destined to make him a billionaire either, but we're sure that was never the point of to a T. Instead, this is just a relentlessly sweet and charming game about the evils of bullying and the benefits of being nice to people. It's frequently surreal and ridiculous, but also capable of being serious, and somewhat dark, when it feels the need. Which given all the signing giraffes is quite some accomplishment. The game casts you as a young schoolkid whose arms are permanently stuck in a T-pose, with both stretched out 90° from his torso. If you're waiting for an explanation as to why then we're afraid we can't tell you, because your character (who you can customise and name as you see fit, along with his dog) doesn't know either. You find out eventually and the answer is… nothing you would expect. This has all been going on for a while before the game starts, as you're by now well used to sidling through doors and getting your dog to help you dress. You're also regularly bullied at school, which makes it obvious that being stuck like this is just a metaphor for any difference or peculiarity in real-life. Although the specific situations in to a T are fantastical, including the fact that the Japanese village you live in is also populated by anthropomorphic animals (most notably a cadre of food-obsessed giraffes), its take on bullying is surprisingly nuanced and well written. There're also some fun songs that are repeated just enough to become unavoidable earworms. The problem is that as well meaning as all this is, there's no core gameplay element to make it a compelling video game. You can wander around talking to people, and a lot of what they say can be interesting and/or charmingly silly, but that's all you're doing. The game describes itself as a 'narrative adventure' and that's very accurate, but what results is the sort of barely interactive experience that makes a Telltale game seem like Doom by comparison. There are some short little mini-games, like cleaning your teeth and eating breakfast, but the only goal beyond just triggering story sequences is collecting coins that you can spend on new outfits. This is gamified quite a bit when you realise your arms give you the ability to glide short distances, but it's still very basic stuff. One chapter also lets you play as your dog, trying to solve an array of simple puzzles and engaging in very basic platforming, but while this is more interactive than the normal chapters it's still not really much fun in its own right. More Trending Everything is all very charming – the cartoonish visuals are reminiscent of a slightly more realistic looking Wattam – but none of it really amounts to very much. The overall message is about getting on with people no matter their differences, but while that doesn't necessarily come across as trite it's also not really the sort of thing you need a £15 video game, with zero replayability, to tell you about. It also doesn't help that the game can be quite frustrating to play through, making it hard to know what you're supposed to do next, or where you're meant to be going. The lack of camera controls means it's hard to act on that information even if you do know what destination you're aiming for, either because the screen is too zoomed in, something's blocking your view, or you keep getting confused because the perspective changes. As with Wattam, we don't feel entirely comfortable criticising the game for its failings. We'll take a game trying to do something new and interesting over a workmanlike sequel any day of the week – whether it succeeds or not – but there's so little to the experience it's hard to imagine this fitting anyone to a T. In Short: Charming, silly, and occasionally profound but Keita Takahashi's latest lacks the gameplay hook of Katamari Damacy, even if it is surprisingly well written. Pros: Wonderfully and unashamedly bizarre, from the premise on down. A great script, that touches on some dark subjects, and charming visuals and music. Cons: There's very little gameplay involved and what there is, is either very simple or awkward to control. Barely five hours long, with no replayability.
