PSP continues missing woman search at Columbia County home
The State Police confirm their Forensics Unit and other troopers searched the Harp home on Saturday as part of their ongoing missing person investigation.
They are trying to locate Katlyn Harp, a mother of five.
28/22 News was able to obtain video taken earlier Saturday at the Harp home located at 20 Fairview Drive in Hemlock Township, Columbia County.
Investigation underway for missing woman in Columbia County
It's located near Bloomsburg, just off Route 42. The forensics van could be seen, as well as other unmarked state police cruisers.
Katlyn Harp was last seen at her home on the evening of Thursday, June 19.
As 28/22 News has been reporting, the state police have searched other locations in recent days, although they have not identified those locations.
A state police spokesperson tells 28/22 News they cannot comment on Saturday's search so as not to jeopardize the ongoing investigation.
A family member told 28/22 News Saturday they just want to find Katlyn and that she would not just walk away from her family and not communicate with them, especially her sister, and they just want to find her.
They say she lived there with her husband. 28/22 News went to the home on Thursday, but no one answered the door.
PSP urges anyone with information about the case to contact them.

Emeryville police seek suspect in car fires, attempted arson of pizza restaurant
Police in Emeryville are seeking a man suspected of setting multiple vehicles on fire and the attempted arson of a restaurant over the weekend. According to officers, a vehicle fire was reported in the rear alley of the Pak N Save supermarket on 3389 San Pablo Avenue shortly before 7:15 a.m. on Saturday. Arriving officers said they found three vehicles that were on fire. The Alameda County Fire Department responded to the alley and quickly extinguished the fires. Emeryville Police Department Officers launched a preliminary investigation, which included reviewing surveillance footage from nearby cameras. The investigation revealed a suspect intentionally starting the three vehicle fires and targeting a fourth vehicle. Investigators said the suspect then proceeded to the nearby Lanesplitter Pizza and Pub at 3645 San Pablo Avenue and attempted to light the building on fire. No injuries were reported. In a statement Wednesday, police released the photos of the suspect, who is described as a man with a mustache between the ages of 35 to 50 years old. Photos showed the suspect was wearing a red and black cap and a red and black jacket. Anyone with information about the fires or who may recognize the suspect is asked to contact the Investigations Unit of the Emeryville Police at 510-596-3700. Persons who see the suspect are asked not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.

Bills first-round pick Maxwell Hairston accused of sexual assault in lawsuit
Buffalo Bills first-round pick Maxwell Hairston has been accused of sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. The alleged incident occurred when Hairston was a 17-year-old freshman at the University of Kentucky. Advertisement The lawsuit alleges that on the night of March 24, 2021, and/or early morning hours of March 25, 2021, Hairston entered a woman's dorm room without invitation. The woman states she told Hairston multiple times that she was tired and not interested in having sexual intercourse, but he entered the room, removed the woman's pajama shorts and sexually assaulted her, according to the lawsuit. The woman filed a police report and went to the hospital to receive a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner exam after the incident, the suit said. The woman ultimately transferred out of the University of Kentucky, with the lawsuit saying 'the emotional and psychological harm she sustained made it impossible for her to continue her education in the same environment where the assault occurred.' In a news release, the woman's attorney, Lauren Edmunds from Meyers & Flowers and Bryant Law Center, said, 'This case is not just about one night — it's about sending a message that sexual assault will not be tolerated — on college campuses, in sports, or anywhere else.' This accusation against Hairston previously came to light in 2022, when a female student posted on social media screenshots of a complaint and police report alleging that Hairston raped her in her dorm room. The university's daily crime log showed that offenses of first-degree rape and first-degree burglary were investigated, but criminal charges weren't filed. The accuser also posted on social media that a Title IX hearing resulted in no action taken by the university. The Bills deferred to general manager Brandon Beane's comments addressing the accusation after Buffalo selected Hairston with the 30th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but declined further comment Wednesday. 'He's an impeccable kid, and we did a lot of research,' Beane said in April. 'I think all teams were aware of the Title IX thing. That was fully investigated by the school. There's everything out. He even volunteered to a polygraph and had notes… 'Just like anything in this world, you can't just take someone's account and think 'That's the truth.' We fully investigated that. If there was anything to it, he wouldn't have been invited to the (NFL Scouting) Combine.' Advertisement The lawsuit seeks a jury trial along with compensatory and punitive damages. Hairston suffered a minor hamstring injury during the Bills' minicamp in June. The team expects the rookie cornerback will be ready to return for training camp.
