Police are investigating after a man was reportedly stabbed in North York early Sunday morning.
Toronto police say they were called to the area of Lawrence Avenue West and Jane Street at around 5:43 a.m.
When they arrived, they say they found a man in his 60s suffering from a stab wound. The extent of his injuries are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening.
The suspect, who police say fled the scene upon arrival, is described as 'male, black, 20-30 years old, slim build, wearing all black clothing.'
Anyone with information is asked to contact police as the investigation gets underway.

Then they provided me the courier's name, the courier's licence plate, the make and model, everything that I would think that if it was a crook, they wouldn't have provided,' Gaddess said. She's fighting the bank to get her money back. 'I might even be losing my house. They drained me. I have nothing to fall back on,' Gaddess said.

Bullet hole found in a London business window
A shooting investigation is underway after a business in London reported a bullet hole in a window. On Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., an employee arrived to work in the 1800 block of Oxford Street West and reported a bullet hole in the window of the business. Police confirmed a firearm had been discharged into the building sometime overnight, after 11 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the building was unoccupied at the time.
