
Bullet hole found in a London business window
On Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., an employee arrived to work in the 1800 block of Oxford Street West and reported a bullet hole in the window of the business.
Police confirmed a firearm had been discharged into the building sometime overnight, after 11 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the building was unoccupied at the time.
LPS Guns and Gangs Section are investigating the incident. Investigators are seeking the public's assistance and urge anyone with information who was in the area from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. to contact police.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Around 5:38 a.m., police responded to a call that a 44-year-old woman had been shot. When they arrived on scene, a suspect had fled. The woman was airlifted to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. Investigators now have a warrant out for the arrest of Billy Joe Henry Deren, a 46-year-old Athabasca resident. He is described as: light complexion 5 feet 5 inches tall 130 pounds brown hair and blue eyes Deren is known to drive a black 2014 Ford F150 with Alberta plates BLT1508, say police. Police also say not to approach him if you see him.
