B&Q slashes £11 ornament that instantly makes your patio seem bigger – it creates a ‘bold' look & lasts all year round
IF your stuck for space on your garden patio, don't worry as a budget buy can help make it seem bigger.
Gardening pros have shared their top tips for maximising your outdoor space this summer.

The experts at Living Etc. broke down the best ways to make your patio seem bigger.
Garden designer Karen McClure explained that the methods are "tried and tested".
So while it may seem like adding plants to your space will cause clutter, it actually works to maximise your space.
And Karen recommends one tree in particular for levelling up your patio.
"Use ornamental feature trees," she advised anyone struggling with limited outdoor space.
"Multi-stem specimens in particular can be kept to a controlled height in a large feature pot, and can create a lovely focal point as well as give interest at a higher level. Be bold."
She added that the number of plant varieties should be kept to a minimum.
"Too many varieties can create a busy and chaotic feel, whereas a simple planting palette will feel harmonised, soothing, and calm," she said.
And if you're looking for a budget-friendly ornamental tree, B&Q has just the thing.
The Ornamental Prunus Incisa "Kojo-no-Mai" Fuji Cherry Tree is available for just £10.79.
I transformed my garden patio into summer haven for less than £100 with cheap B&M buys including gadget to keep bugs out
Usually referred to as the cherry tree, this plant has a compact, rounded shape and a gently spreading habit.
This makes it suitable for planting in small gardens or areas with limited space.
Katie pointed out that placing your trees in sleek planters makes sure they only take up a minimal amount of floor space.
You can also opt to light your plants at night, giving your space a new lease of life after dusk.
She also recommended incorporating mirrors around your patio to reflect your plants.
Garden features that add the most value to a house
A well-kept garden can add anywhere between 5-20% to the value of a property.
Sellhousefast.uk carried out a study and consulted 36 estate agents, garden designers and property professionals from across the UK.
And the experts revealed the garden feature which adds the most value to a property is a shed.
Shed - 82%
Patio or paving - 76%
Secure fencing, walls or gates - 72%
Outdoor lighting - 66%
Sturdy decking - 62%
Water features eg. fountain or pond - 58%
Modern garden furniture - 54%
Artificial lawn/grass - 40%
This makes it seem like there are even more plants around your patio area.
Mirrors also help to bounce light and create the illusion of additional space.
And a £4 Home Bargains buy will help to add a "whimsical touch" to your garden.
Plus another tree helps to add privacy to your garden, and it's now cheaper than ever.
Or you can add a fast-growing flower to cover eyesore walls and fences in your garden.

Zara Phillips cuts a stylish figure at Royal Windsor Cup Final as she takes on new role
One of the biggest dates in the society summer calendar ended yesterday as Royal Ascot drew to a close - but Zara Phillips was back in the equestrian world on Sunday, as she attended the Royal Windsor Cup Final. The royal, 44, has taken on the role that her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, had previously held at the event. This afternoon, she will present a trophy to the winning team in the tournament, as her grandmother did for many years at the oldest tournament to take place at the swish Guard's Polo Club. Wearing an on-trend belted navy blue striped white dress, the mother-of-three, who's married to former England rugby star Mike Tindall, looked cool in the warm weather. Weather her blonde bob-cut hair under a summer straw boater, the royal, cut an elegant figure at the event. She finished the look with a pair of beige heeled sandals, a tan leather clutch bag and some delicate gold drop earrings. The prestigious polo show, held annually, attracts guests from society's highest echelons. The event is one of the top five polo tournaments in the world - wooing the biggest names in the game and their impressive pony power, as well as plenty of famous faces. This year's event marks the 70th anniversary of the Royal Windsor Cup, which was the Club's first tournament. Zara watched on this afternoon as the 15-goal tournament came to a conclusion. Earlier, there had been a jousting display from the Knights of Middle England alongside a carriage driving display by the British Driving Society. The event takes place at the historic Guard's Polo Club, with the action unfolding on Smith's Lawn, which is named after a 17th century gamekeeper. Guards Polo Club was founded in 1955 with the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as the club's first President. The King took on the role in early 2024, with Zara this year asked to present the cup. Zara remains a serious international equestrian competitor, having garnered a gold medal at the European Eventing Championships in 2005 in addition to attaining a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in 2006. Earlier this week, she joined the King and Queen and other members of the extended royal family at Ascot, stepping out in a stylish blue trouser suit. The daughter of Princess Anne donned the unique outfit for the fourth day of the Berkshire racing festival on Friday. She teamed the suit with a matching blouse and a statement hat featuring an eye-catching white bow. Zara finished off the chic look with a pair of pointed blue heels, sunglasses and a white patterned clutch bag. Meanwhile her beaming mother looked equally fashionable in a trendy monochrome polka dot frock. King Charles, 76, appeared in great spirits as he greeted his niece Princess Eugenie, 35, with kisses on her hands. His Majesty was also joined by another of his nieces, Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne, who looked delighted to see her royal family members. Camilla, 77, also oozed glamour in a white chiffon dress with embroidered flowers from Anna Valentine, paired with a feathered Philip Treacy hat. Meanwhile stylish revellers created a sea of vibrant colours as they prepared for another day of action in the 28C heat. While some revellers bet on horses hoping to win big, others simply came along to soak up inspiration, as race day style has become just as famous as the race itself. As ever, lavish millinery turned heads, with many revellers commanding attention in vibrant creations adorned with feathers, flowers and lace. Stunning floral ballgowns, sizable fascinators and dapper top hats were also all on display as hundreds of well-heeled race enthusiasts made the most of the hot weather which is a rarity in the UK. Glamorous revellers showed off their fashion prowess by donning one of the trendiest colours of the season - hot pink. Dressed to the nines, groups of classy racegoers also opted to coordinate their attire for the annual occasion, rather than wearing their ensembles solo. Princess Diana's twin nieces Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer, both 32, also made an appearance in strikingly similar classy monochrome ensembles with matching wide brimmed hats. The fashion model duo - who were sporting glitzy diamond necklaces and jewelled drop earrings - are no stranger to the camera and posed up a storm at the event. The sisters were also snapped with Millie Mackintosh, best known for her appearances in Made in Chelsea. The pair sported matching handbags each in different colours that matched their ensembles, with Millie sporting a lavender frilly, chiffon dress.

I'm a stinky girl, my 25p hack will keep you smelling fresh all summer long even on the sweatiest of days
SOMETIME no matter how much deodorant and perfume you put on, the summer heat can leave you feeling sweaty and stinky. But thanks to a budget-friendly hack, you can stay as fresh as ever in the hot weather. 2 TikTok user Laura Valentina (@laauravalentina) showed her followers the DIY technique she swears by that leaves her smelling and feeling refreshed in the heat. And for anyone pinching pennies, don't worry because all you need is two kitchen ingredients. "I live by this life hack," Laura told her followers before going on to describe herself as a "stinky girl". She revealed that her mum taught her to use two household items to combat the summer sweats. These secret ingredients are lime and baking soda, neither of which will break the bank. You can pick up a lime for just 24p from Sainsbury's, while baking soda will set you back 59p. The TikToker described the hack as "the best and better than any soap you will ever find". She advised her followers to use it "to get rid of any stink", revealing that she rubs it on her armpits and "everywhere else". According to Laura, this process helps to "get rid of any stench" but also has other beauty benefits. "It also exfoliates with the little grains of baking soda and for all of my stink girls, it will really help you get rid of that stink," she explained. Laura pointed out that it not only eliminates smells but also leaves you smelling like citrus afterwards. Her followers shared their thoughts on the natural hack in the comments section. Lottie Moss leaves little to the imagination in a black sheer mesh bodysuit and hot pants as she parties at BludFest Festival
Lottie Moss sent temperatures soaring in a sheer mesh bodysuit and hot pants as she arrived at BludFest Festival this weekend. The half-sister of Kate Moss, 27, showed off her incredible figure as she attended the annual music event in Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday. All eyes were on Lottie as she playfully posed in a bodysuit, which she paired with strappy ballet pumps. The tattooed blonde bombshell turned heads in the skimpy number, which revealed her supermodel legs. Concealing her modesty, she covered her nipples with black tape and accessorised with sunglasses and a simple gold necklace. It comes after Lottie candidly revealed she always felt 'compared' to her supermodel sister Kate, and would try weight loss jabs again after suffering a seizure. The model was rushed to hospital last year after suffering the seizure as a result of taking Ozempic, which she admitted she obtained 'illegally' from a doctor. Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her ITV series The Price Of Perfection, she said: 'I think I've always really struggled with my weight since I was younger and I think modelling didn't help, and always being around these gorgeous, tall models. 'You know I'm small as well, so I was like "I've got to be at least skinny".' Talking about her sister, Lottie went on: 'I think I always felt compared to her at the beginning of my career, and I think people expected me to be kind of like a carbon copy of her as well. 'You know, cos she was getting a little bit older, she wasn't doing so much so they thought "oh perfect, now we can have a whole new Kate Moss". 'Like I felt a lot of pressure to be like her and look like her and you know, I dabbled in that party lifestyle. 'That was essentially how they stayed skinny back in the day cos they had this wild party lifestyle.' Lottie said the party lifestyle wasn't for her, so she turned her attention to weight loss jabs, which have grown in popularity. Ozempic is a diabetes medication but it is also being sold privately for weight loss, and celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Amy Schumer, Boy George and Heather Gay have admitted to using the drug. Lottie, who obtained the jabs 'illegally', explained: 'For me, I needed to keep the weight off and I needed a quick fix and I heard about Ozempic and I thought "I might as well just give it a go". 'The way I went around it was really bad, and I shouldn't have, because it was kind of... I kinda got it in an illegal way. 'I got it from a doctor who was giving it out under a table. 'And to give it to someone without doing any tests or anything, or asking them any questions about their health is so, you know, crazy to me.' Lottie revealed she had lost between six to seven kilos after just two weeks on the drug, which she described as 'dramatic', before having a seizure. She said she didn't notice the huge drop in her weight at the time 'because you're so sick and tired all the time'. 'I felt something really weird happen as soon as I got on the bed, I had the seizure and they were holding me down,' she recalled. 'I was terrified. I honestly felt like I was dying, and it sounds really dramatic, but I've never had a seizure before.' Lottie said it 'wasn't worth it' and asked herself: 'Why did I do this to my body?' She added: 'I remember, just after I came out of the hospital, I felt good because I was so slim and I get how that feeling can be so addictive now.' Despite the impact the drug had on her health, Lottie admitted she has thought about taking it again. She told Olivia: 'I've thought about it a couple of times, I won't lie. 'I wish I could sit her and say no, honestly. I've definitely thought about it since.'
