Meanwhile, the Emilia-Romagna GP is at risk of being axed from the F1 calendar.
F1 president Stefano Domenicali has admitted that it is difficult for two races to be based in Italy.
He told RAI radio: "Italy has always been and will be an important part of Formula 1.
"It will be increasingly difficult to have two races in the same country because interest in F1 is growing and it's a situation we will have to deal with in the coming months.
"It's hard for this situation with Imola and Monza to continue together on the calendar for long."

Jordan Smith reckons he needs two wins in the final three qualifying events on the DP World Tour to force his way into the European team for the Ryder Cup in September. The Englishman sits 16th on the points list, which will determine six automatic qualifiers and play a big bearing on six captain's picks, and says he is on 'Luke Donald's radar' for the biennial clash at Bethpage Black on Long Island. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad But, speaking after he'd made a promising start in the Nexo Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, Smith admitted he is facing a tough task in his bid to be a rookie against Keegan Bradley's US side. Jordan Smith pictured during the first round of the Nexo Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Balmedie |'Obviously, I'm on Luke's radar,' said the Englishman, who played on a winning Great Britain and Ireland side in the Team Cup in Abu Dhabi in January. 'Personally, I think it would have to be two wins or a win and a really good performance somewhere else.' Smith isn't in the field for next week's Danish Golf Championship, meaning his final throw of the dice will be in the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Belfry the following week. 'I mean, it's not off the cards,' he added 'but I think it will be really, really tricky for me to get on the team. We got off to a bit of a slow start this season, but the last few months have been really, really good, so I'm really happy with how it's going. Like I said, you never know.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Rory McIlroy has already secured an automatic spot, with MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry and Sepp Straka the other players on course to make the team under their own steam. Rasmus Hojgaard, Justin Rose, Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Matt Wallace and Matthew Fitzpatrick are the next six players on the points list, with Smith just behind Thomas Detry and Aaron Rai. 'Obviously the guys on the PGA Tour are playing for more points, but obviously Luke takes everything into consideration and it will be interesting to see,' said Smith. Playing in the same group as KLM Open winner Connor Syme, Smith opened with a three-under 69 in blustery conditions on the Old Course at Trump International Golf Links, where the clubhouse target was set by South African Richard Sterne with a 67. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'Yeah, it's pretty fantastic out there. It's an unbelievable golf course,' observed Smith. 'When we got here this morning at quarter past five, I didn't expect it to be this windy. It was tough out there, really tough and I am really happy with how it went.' Jordan Smith played on a winning Great Britain and Ireland team in the Team Cup in Abu Dhabi in January |A total of seven tees had been moved up due to the wind blowing at 20mph and gusting to 25mph. '100 per cent, yeah,' he replied to being asked if that had been a sensible decision by the DP World Tour officials. 'We started on the back nine, which meant that we had 16th, 17th, 18th then 1, 2 and 3 all into the wind. But they'd move those tees up, which was sensible. If they'd kept them back, it would have been carnage. Even then, at 18 I hit driver, 7-iron, 7-iron but, if it had been from the back tee, I'd have been there all day.' After narrowly missing out last year, Smith is determined to secure one of the ten PGA Tour cards up for grabs again through the Race to Dubai and currently sits seventh in that sideshow.

The listing describes the vehicles as ranging from rare, complete originals to partially restored cars and those needing full restoration. The monarch famously took the wheel at events including the 2007 Royal Windsor Horse Show, with the vehicle specially kitted out for royal duties. It boasts enhanced internal wiring for security and communications, bespoke side steps, mud flaps, and even a made-to-measure dog guard – a nod to the Queen's lifelong love of dogs. Rear grab handles, since removed but with traces still visible, were once fitted to help her Majesty in and out.

Heartwarming moment dad who battled cancer tells son he's won massive jackpot on the EuroMillions
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) HEARTWARMING footage shows the moment a dad who battled cancer told his son he had won the EuroMillions jackpot. Paul Harvey from Attleborough, in Norfolk, scooped £1million on the lottery on July 4 2025. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 Paul Harvey from Norfolk celebrates his £1million EuroMillions win 4 Incredible footage shows the moment his dad revealed the news to his son Credit: Paul Harvey 4 The pair embraced before dancing around Credit: Paul Harvey Paul, 51, has had a tough couple of years following treatment for bowel cancer. But the 51-year-old is now hoping for some happier times with his two children after scooping the massive prize. Paul filmed the moment he broke the news to his son in a beautiful video. As he made his big reveal, the two were seen laughing hysterically and jumping around the kitchen for joy Paul recalled: 'I wanted to tell the kids in person so when my son got home I set up my phone to record it." And after an agonising wait for them to get home from school, he got his dream moment. Paul said: "How many millionaires do you know?" And his bewildered son replied "zero". It was then Paul said "Well you do now" as he pulled his son into a warm embrace. Paul recalled: "I added 'I swear on my life'! I do like to joke but when I say those words, my kids know to take it seriously! "Their reactions were hilarious and heart-warming. We all feel ridiculously excited and relieved in equal measure. It just doesn't seem real!' Paul has always prioritised his two children and their needs above everything and now plans some special time together to create new memories, starting with a family holiday to Greece. The dad explained: 'Life hasn't always been easy, but the kids mean the world to me, and they always come first. "We have never been away abroad together, and I would love to take them both to Greece. But first we need to get our passports!" As well as a dream holiday together, Paul wants to buy his daughter a second-hand car, a Fiat 500, so she can learn to drive. He also hopes to help them kickstart their careers as they both near the end of full-time education. Paul said: 'I am so proud of what the kids have achieved already in life. They both have big ideas about what they want to do when they leave school, and I cannot wait to help them in their chosen careers. 'It's the important stuff like helping them to learn to drive and getting them a car and insurance so they can get to college and then work. "My daughter has a driving test later this year and I would love to get her a second-hand Fiat 500 for her to practice in.' Paul confesses that he didn't realise he had bagged the life-changing win for a whole week. He checked his National Lottery account as normal after the EuroMillions draw on July 4 to find he had won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip ticket. But it wasn't until a week later that he got an unexpected email from The National Lottery urging him to check his account again and to get in touch urgently. Paul was suspicious and didn't want to get ahead of himself; 'It didn't look like the normal email I get. "I thought this must be a scam. I read the email again and then Googled the National Lottery Line where I saw the telephone numbers matched. "It was then that I allowed myself to get much more excited!'
