Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP, a Leading Securities Fraud Law Firm Encourages Red Cat Holdings, Inc. (RCAT) Investors To Inquire About Securities Fraud Class Action

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP, a leading national shareholder rights law firm, announces that a securities fraud class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Red Cat Holdings, Inc. ('Red Cat' or the 'Company') (NASDAQ: RCAT) securities between , inclusive (the 'Class Period'). Red Cat investors have until July 22, 2025 to file a lead plaintiff motion. IF YOU SUFFERED A LOSS ON YOUR RED CAT HOLDINGS, INC. (RCAT) INVESTMENTS, CLICK HERE TO INQUIRE ABOUT POTENTIALLY PURSUING CLAIMS TO RECOVER YOUR LOSS UNDER THE FEDERAL SECURITIES LAWS What Happened? In March 2022, Red Cat announced that its subsidiary Teal Drones, Inc. ('Teal') had been selected to compete in Tranche 2 of the U.S. Army's Short Range Reconnaissance Program of Record (the 'SRR Program'). On July 27, 2023, Red Cat released its fiscal year 2023 financial results and revealed that its Salt Lake City Facility could only produce 100 drones per month and that construction of the facility was only 'substantially completed' and, while it could potentially reach a production capacity of one thousand drones per month over the next two to three years, it would require additional capital investments. On this news, Red Cat's stock price fell $0.10, or 8.9%, to close at $1.02 per share on July 28, 2023, thereby injuring investors. Then, on September 23, 2024, Red Cat released its first quarter fiscal 2025 financial results, missing consensus estimates and disclosing that it had spent 'the past four months . . . retooling [the Salt Lake City Facility] and preparing for high volume production[,]' while admitting that a 'pause in manufacturing of Teal 2 and building our Army prototypes impacted Teal 2 sales' because it 'couldn't produce and sell Teal 2 units while retooling [its] factory.' On this news, Red Cat's stock price fell $0.80, or 25.3%, over two consecutive trading days to close at $2.36 per share on September 25, 2024. Then, on November 19, 2024, Red Cat announced that it had won the SRR contract, stating that it was worth potentially hundreds of millions of dollars. However, on January 16, 2025, Kerrisdale Capital published a report alleging, among other things, that Red Cat had overstated that value of the SRR Contract and that it was worth approximately $20-25 million, based on U.S. Army budget documents. On this news, Red Cat's stock price fell $2.35, or 21.5%, over two consecutive trading days to close at $8.56 per share on January 17, 2025, thereby injuring investors further. What Is The Lawsuit About? The complaint filed in this class action alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company's business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) the Salt Lake City Facility's production capacity, and Defendants' progress in developing the same, was overstated; (2) the overall value of the SRR Contract was overstated; and (3) as a result, Defendants' positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. If you purchased or otherwise acquired Red Cat securities during the Class Period, you may move the Court no later than July 22, 2025 to request appointment as lead plaintiff in this putative class action lawsuit. Why SAIC (SAIC) Shares Are Falling Today

Shares of government IT services provider Science Applications International Corporation (NASDAQ:SAIC) fell 13% in the morning session after the company announced weak first quarter 2025 (fiscal 2026) results which missed analysts' EPS estimates. The underwhelming result was due to sluggish revenue growth, which rose just 2% year on year, driven largely by volume increases in existing and new contracts, but weighed down by the completion of older contracts. Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its full-year guidance for adjusted EPS and EBITDA, but both fell short of Wall Street estimates. Management pointed to strong bookings with a 1.3 book-to-bill ratio and high-profile wins like the U.S. Army contract, but those longer-term prospects likely didn't sway investors focused on profitability. Overall, it was a weak quarter. The stock market overreacts to news, and big price drops can present good opportunities to buy high-quality stocks. Is now the time to buy SAIC? Access our full analysis report here, it's free. SAIC's shares are not very volatile and have only had 6 moves greater than 5% over the last year. Moves this big are rare for SAIC and indicate this news significantly impacted the market's perception of the business. The biggest move we wrote about over the last year was 3 months ago when the stock gained 11.7% on the news that the company reported impressive fourth quarter 2024 (fiscal 2025) results, which blew past analysts' sales and earnings estimates. Organic sales grew 5.8% compared to the previous year by increased contract volume, which helped push adjusted EBITDA up 39% compared to the prior year. Margins expanded significantly, with operating income as a percentage of revenue rising to 7.5% from 4.5% in the prior year, thanks to improved contract profitability and lower expenses. This was a key driver behind the earnings beat. Looking ahead, full-year guidance for EBITDA and EPS were both ahead, suggesting the improved growth momentum is expected to continue. Overall, we think this was a strong quarter with top and bottom-line improvements. SAIC is down 9.7% since the beginning of the year, and at $101.31 per share, it is trading 34.3% below its 52-week high of $154.10 from November 2024. Investors who bought $1,000 worth of SAIC's shares 5 years ago would now be looking at an investment worth $1,115. Today's young investors likely haven't read the timeless lessons in Gorilla Game: Picking Winners In High Technology because it was written more than 20 years ago when Microsoft and Apple were first establishing their supremacy. But if we apply the same principles, then enterprise software stocks leveraging their own generative AI capabilities may well be the Gorillas of the future. So, in that spirit, we are excited to present our Special Free Report on a profitable, fast-growing enterprise software stock that is already riding the automation wave and looking to catch the generative AI next.

Palantir's Pipeline Surges with Federal Deals

Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR) jumps 4% noon trading on Friday as a wave of new government contracts and surging commercial growth underpin bullish sentiment. Last week, the company secured a $795 million U.S. Army modification for its Maven Smart System software licenses and is in contention for President Trump's proposed $175 billion Golden Dome missile-defense program. The New York Times also reports Palantir may win the federal data-merger mandate under Trump's executive order, while talks continue with the Social Security Administration, IRS and Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. On the commercial front, Q1 results showed 70% year-over-year growth in commercial revenue and a 40% overall revenue jump. Palantir also inked strategic partnerships with the Joint Commission to modernize healthcare accreditation data and with Fannie Mae to bolster AI-driven fraud detection. Investors should care because this blend of high-value public-sector deals and robust enterprise momentum de-risks Palantir's growth profile and positions it for continued upside. It's important to note that the stock is up a superb 70% YTD. This article first appeared on GuruFocus. Sign in to access your portfolio
