Swifties speculate Taylor Swift's new album drags Blake Lively
The chatter comes on the heels of Swift on Wednesday revealing that the tracklist from 'The Life of a Showgirl,' dropping Oct. 3, will feature a song titled 'Ruin the Friendship.'
Lively, 37, is currently locked in a litigious and publicity saga with 41-year-old Baldoni, her director and co-star in 'It Ends With Us,' whom she claims sexually harassed her during filming. The 'Gossip Girl' alum also alleges Baldoni waged a smear campaign to undermine her accusations.
Baldoni has denied all of Lively's claims, though he did include some reported texts in his since-dismissed $400 million defamation suit. In one such correspondence, Lively allegedly referred to Swift as one of her 'dragons,' with Baldoni accusing her of leveraging the popstar's celebrity status in attempt to take over creative control of the film.
Ever since Swift was named in the suit, she's reportedly kept her distance from her longtime friend. In June, a source told People that Swift was'working to trust Blake again.'
While making her podcast debut during boyfriend Travis Kelce's hit 'New Heights' show, Swift revealed she recorded the entirety of her new album in between shows on the European leg of her Eras Tour last summer.
If true, that throws a bit of a wrench into the theory that 'Ruin the Friendship' is about Lively, as she and Swift were last spotted together last October — on a double date, no less.
Moreover, Lively didn't accuse Baldoni of any misdeeds until right before Christmas, and Baldoni didn't drag Swift into the mess until early this year.
Still, that hasn't stopped fans from spreading the theory online, particularly in the wake of Swift being momentarily subpoenaed by Baldoni's legal team.
Neither Swift nor Lively has publicly remarked on their friendship since 'It Ends With Us' hit theaters in August.

More details of the death of Brandon Blackstock, the talent manager and former husband of Kelly Clarkson, have come to light ahead of his Aug. 17 memorial service. A death certificate, officially filed Thursday in Butte, Montana, confirmed the 48-year-old died of natural causes related to malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. But the father of four, who battled cancer for three years, also suffered from seizures. They were listed as 'significant conditions contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause,' according to the documents obtained by TMZ and People. Blackstock died on Aug. 7 at his home in Butte while under hospice care, according to the Silver Bow County coroner, who initially confirmed the details of his cancer to People. Though Blackstock was known for overseeing the careers of Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and at one time Clarkson, his death certificate listed his occupation as a producer in the rodeo industry. The documents also confirmed that an autopsy was not performed and that Blackstock was cremated. An online obituary for Blackstock made no mention of Clarkson, but did name her former production assistant Brittney Marie Jones — referring to her his 'beautiful and loving partner in life and business.' According to Us Weekly, an insider revealed that Jones 'moved to Montana' and helped Blackstock build his Valley View Rodeo in 2023. Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2013. The couple later welcomed two children — daughter River, now 11, and son Remington, 9 — before the 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' singer filed for divorce in 2020. Following a messy legal battle, the pair finalized their divorce in March 2022. Prior to his relationship with the Grammy and Daytime Emmy winner, Blackstock was married to Melissa Ashworth from 2001 to 2012, with whom he shared 23-year-old daughter Savannah and 18-year-old son Seth. He was expecting his third grandchild before his death.

He briefly got up and then fell to the ground, prompting a rush of medical personnel onto the field. After providing CPR, Hamlin was loaded onto a stretcher and into an ambulance. The game was suspended and postponed. In the meantime, Hamlin spent time on a ventilator before being able to talk to his family and breathe on his own on Jan. 6. Sydney Sweeney's ‘Americana': Do Rotten Tomatoes Reviews Laud The Film?
Sydney Sweeney's new dark crime comedy Americana is new in theaters this weekend. How are Rotten Tomatoes critics reacting to the film amid the actor's American Eagle commercial controversy?
