Woody Johnson completes purchase of Crystal Palace shares

Johnson's arrival at Palace comes with the club in dispute with UEFA over which European competition they will play in next season after winning the FA Cup in May.
The Eagles were demoted from the Europa League to the Conference League after falling foul of UEFA's rules governing multi-club ownership, but have submitted an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
UEFA determined that as of March 1, American businessman John Textor had control or influence in Palace and French club Lyon.
Textor said he had agreed to sell his stake in Palace to Johnson, but the move came too late to satisfy UEFA.
Parish said: 'At this exciting time for Crystal Palace, we are delighted to be welcoming Woody to the ownership of the football club, and we very much look forward to working alongside him to build on our historic recent success moving forwards.'

However, when a driving run into the box by Antman ended with him being barged over by Vydra, referee Turpin pointed to the spot for a soft penalty and Dessers sent Wiegele the wrong way. Rangers started the second half strongly and within three minutes midfielder Mohamed Diomande struck the bar with an effort from the edge of the box. However, the third soon arrived as Gassama grabbed his second when he bulleted in a header from a pinpoint Antman cross from the right. There were occasional moments of sloppiness in the Gers ranks throughout the rest of the second half but they remained unpunished. Raskin, Danilo, and Tavernier all came off the bench when the job was done, before in the 83rd minute Gers keeper Jack Butland made a good save from a powerful drive from Memic. After the negativity of Fir Park, it was a more positive performance from the home side although there has to be much more to come from Martin's men.

Had very little to do in a quiet night for the goakeeper. Max Aarons 8 Notably deployed at right back, his natural position, as opposed to being shoehorned in on the left. Brilliant ball down right flank for Antman at third goal. Nasser Djiga 8 The on-loan Wolves defender is quick. And it makes a difference at the back, especially on the European stage when teams are more likely to attack while at Ibrox. Made a vital block to halt a rare Plzen attack. John Souttar 8 Filling in as captain for the night with Tavernier on the bench, the centre-back strolled the game. There was an early moment when Matej Vydra appeared to have him for pace, but the Scot recovered well. Some good build-up from the back, trying to keep the intensity high despite Rangers' dominance in possession. Jefte 7 Was fine. Was certainly outshone on the left by Gassama, but his solidity at the back probably helped his teammate to flourish. Could form an exciting bond. Rightly booked. Joe Rothwell 7 Kept the ball moving in the middle of the park with simple passes, going about his business quietly. Mohamed Diomande 7 A bit more energetic and all-action than his fellow midfielders, there were the usual twists and turns from the Ivorian. Unfortunate to see his left-foot curler crash off the bar. Lyall Cameron 8 What a night for the Scotland Under-21 international. The former Dundee midfielder was everywhere on the park, following the ball around constantly. He made things happen, constantly looking for a forward pass to penetrate Plzen's resolute defence. He looks worthy of a run in the starting XI. Djeidi Gassama 9 That's four goals in three Champions League qualifiers for the man bought from troubled Sheffield Wednesday. Great link-up with Dessers, before showing his quick burst of pace to explode away from his marks, and slot the ball beyond the goalkeeper for 1-0. An easy header for his second. Oliver Antman 9 It's fair to say the Finn made quite the impression on his debut. Thrown in a day after joining, the 23-year-old showed he's got lightning acceleration. He did well to latch onto a ball in-behind by Aarons to cross into a dangerous area early in the game. But his pace was best displayed in the build-up to the penalty with some interchange with Gassama, striding into the box before being fouled. Inviting clipped cross played for the game's third goal. Had a goal-bound shot cleared off the line. Cyriel Dessers 8 In from the start with Danilo dropped, the Nigerian looked relatively sharp considering his lack of game time in recent weeks during pre-season. A neat lay-off as part of a one-two to help set-up the opener – his involvement in the move was crucial. Enjoyed himself in the first half as he coolly slotted him a penalty. Subs: Nicolas Raskin (for Rothwell, 64') 4 Booked from the sidelines! On to freshen up the midfield. Danilo (for Dessers, 75') 3 Put himself about in a bid to impress.
