Where is Julian McMahon now? He is one of Australia's most famous heartthrobs but Dannii Minogue's ex is now unrecognisable and has a VERY different accent

He's the ex-pat Aussie actor who rose to fame Down Under on iconic soap Home and Away.
He headed Stateside in the '90s to star in long-running NBC soap Another World and has remained there ever since.
Never far from the camera, he has a formidable list of small and big screen credits, picking up a Golden Globe best actor nomination in 2004.
He's played everything from a playboy plastic surgeon to nefarious superhero villain.
He also has quite the pedigree outside of acting, being the son of a former Australian Prime Minister.
So, just what is Julian McMahon up to now?

These days, Julian, 56, is still very active in acting scene.
He set to make an anticipated return to Aussie screens, starring alongside Nicholas Cage in the upcoming Stan original film The Surfer.
The hunky star has been busy promoting the film, most recently seen on the red carpet for the Surfer's SXSW premiere in March.
He showed off a dramatic transformation at the event after ditching his longer locks in favour for a shorn haircut and a moustache and goatee.
It's a far cry from his appearance at the film's Cannes premiere back in May last year, when he still had his signature clean-cut aesthetic and deep tan.
Aside from his upcoming turn in the Surfer, Julian has also been busy shooting the upcoming film The Supremes At Earl's All You Can Eat, starring alongside the likes of Uzo Aduba (Orange Is The New Black), and Mekhi Phifer (8 Mile).
Meanwhile, fans of police drama will be well aware that Julian also starred as Special Agent Jess LaCroix on the Dick Wolf-created series FBI, as well as its spin-offs FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
Julian is perhaps best known for his bravura turn in the long-running Ryan Murphy medical drama, Nip/Tuck.
He starred alongside Dylan Walsh, playing Miami-based plastic surgeon Christian Troy.
Troy was certainly not shy about falling into bed with his female clients, with Walsh's Sean McNamara often having to step in to deal with Christian's mistakes.
His turn as the lothario doctor earned Julian a Golden Globe best actor nomination in 2004, losing out to Ian McShane.
Prior to Nip/Tuck, Julian starred alongside Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano on the cult Arron Spelling-created magical drama, Charmed.
He played Cole Turner, the half demon ex husband of Alyssa's character Phoebe Halliwell.
During his time on Charmed, Julian was also romantically linked to Doherty, with the pair dating briefly during the show's third season in 2000-2001.
Speaking of the relationship front, Julian is still married to model and author Kelly Paniagua after the pair tied the knot in 2014.
They had been together for 11 years before marrying in a romantic ceremony in Lake Tahoe, a lakeside area on the edge of California and Nevada.
He was previously married to Baywatch actress Brooke Burns with whom he shares daughter Madison, 25.
The pair were tied the knot in 1999, before calling it quits three years later.
He was also married to Australian actress and singer Dannii Minogue, after the pair fell in love on the set of Home and Away in which Julian played fan favourite Ben Lucini.
They were wed in 1994, but the union proved short-lived, with the couple splitting just a year and a half later.
Julian is the son of former Australian Prime Minister William McMahon, and Dannii previously revealed a difficult relationship with Julian's mother Lady Sonia McMahon contributed to the split.
'There was no relationship, she wouldn't speak to me,' Dannii told Seven in 2019.
'I wasn't allowed to be near her in the house, she said she wasn't coming to the wedding. We just had no idea how to handle it - we were just trying to.'
Julian went on to star alongside Dannii's sister Kylie Miniogue in the 2018 film Swinging Safari.
Speaking about the film at the 2016 GQ Men Of The Year awards, he quickly dodged the question of what it was like working with his former sister-in-law.
He was also married to Australian actress and singer Dannii Minogue (also pictured) after the pair fell in love on the set of Home and Away. They were wed in 1994, but the union proved short-lived, with the couple calling it quits just a year and a half later
Julian was all too happy to discuss the film, however when talk turned to his ex-wife's sister, he quickly moved things along.
He mentioned every other star featured in the film, failing to bring Kylie's name up at all.
Making things even more awkward was the fact that his current wife Kelly was standing right beside him.
Sadly evident for Australian fans in the 2016 clip, Julian has well and truly lost his Aussie accent in favour of an American lilt.

Nicole Scherzinger 'lands Las Vegas residency' after Pussycat Doll scoops Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for Sunset Boulevard

is reportedly heading for Las Vegas after her award-winning success on Broadway. The former Pussycat Doll, 45, has been in 'early talks' for a Sin City residency following her Tony Award win for Best Actress in a Musical for Sunset Boulevard. A source told The Mirror: 'Nicole is achieving all her career dreams this year. She's conquered Broadway and won a well-deserved Tony, but Nicole has no plans to slow down her career, not when she's in her absolute prime and in such demand.' They added that there had been early discussions and she really hoped to follow in the footsteps of her idol Celine Dion, who famously headlined at the iconic Caesars Palace in The Colosseum. If the residency took place, Nicole would join a stellar lineup this year that includes Rod Stewart, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez. The former Pussycat Doll, 45, has been in 'early talks' for a Sin City residency following her Tony Award win for Best Actress in a Musical for Sunset Boulevard The potential Vegas show is expected to follow a similar format to her upcoming Carnegie Hall concert this October, featuring a full live band and a setlist mixing Broadway hits with pop favourites. MailOnline has contacted Nicole's reps for comment. Her performance as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard first debuted in London in 2023 before transferring to Broadway, where it has earned her both a Tony and a Laurence Olivier Award. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has since gone on to describe her as 'one of the most gifted singer-actresses I have seen perform my work… she is fearless, musically and dramatically.' After last Sunday's Tony Awards, Nicole posted a video on Instagram during the ceremony where she performed a Sunset Boulevard number. In the gushing post, she wrote: 'This is a dream come true for me to perform As If We Never Said Goodbye. 'This is my love letter to the theatre. And to anyone with a deep passion for what you do, this was for you too.' She added: 'What an honour to share this song with a community that has held me and lifted me. I am forever grateful. As she accepted her Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical award, for her performance of fading Hollywood star Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Nicole said: 'Growing up I always felt like I didn't belong, but you all have made me feel like I belong, and I have come home at last.' She then thanked her fiancé Thom Evans, adding he 'believes in me when I forget to believe in myself.' She also said: 'I'm so honoured to be recognised alongside these exceptional warrior women in this category. I want to thank you all so much for making this little Hawaiian/ Ukrainian/ Filipino girl's dream come true. So proud to represent.' After she thanked her family, she then thanked composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, sharing: 'It has been such an honour to be able to create with you the past 15 years.' Nicole has defied the odds to become the babe of Broadway, when just a few years ago, it would have seemed impossible for the former Pussycat Doll to win such a gong. Following a 'flop' attempt at a solo singing career after the pop group disbanded in 2010, her stage career had also looked doomed following a vicious spat with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber - despite her shout out to him on Sunday. Nine years ago, the former Pussycat Doll had just pulled out of his Broadway production of Cats at the last minute to take a seven-figure salary to return as a judge on ITV's X Factor. Furious Lord Webber declared that she would never 'get her Tony Award'. Lord Webber had raged: 'I'm furious because I really believe she's the most fantastically talented girl and I went out on a limb... but never mind, there'll be another girl on Broadway and Nicole will not get her Tony Award.' But following raving reviews in his new Sunset Boulevard show, Nicole has become Lloyd Webber's shining diamond on Broadway - and not only has he eaten his words, but he's become her biggest cheerleader. She has also appeared in Men in Black 3, voiced a role in Disney's Moana, and starred in stage productions of Rent and Cats.

Fans threaten to boycott MLB over 'disgusting' Pride stunt during national anthem at New York Mets game

The New York Mets left baseball fans furious on Friday night after showing a Pride flag on their big screen during a rendition of the US national anthem. Prior to their game against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Mets controversially displayed the LGBTQ + symbol instead of the American flag as the Star Spangled Banner played out at Citi Field. Despite a number of teams getting involved in the annual 'Pride Month' tradition in recent weeks, fans are threatening to boycott MLB over the divisive stunt that took place in New York. One user posted on X along with a video of the Pride flag being shown at Citi Field during the anthem: 'The Mets showed a pride flag instead of the American flag during our National Anthem. Boycott the MLB.' 'That's disgusting, @Mets,' said another. 'Think the @mlb is looking to be boycotted,' wrote a third. A fourth put: 'F***ing Disgrace!!!' The Mets showed a pride flag instead of the American flag during our National Anthem. Boycott the MLB. — Jack (@jackunheard) June 14, 2025 Citi Field was the latest baseball stadium to stage a special Pride Night event this month A fifth posted: 'So disrespectful. This needs to stop.' While another simply put: 'Shameful'. has contacted the New York Mets for comment. MLB teams traditionally hold Pride-themed events in June, with the Boston Red Sox also sparking controversy by staging a pre-game drag show earlier this week. Los Angeles Dodgers players also wore baseball caps with colors of the Pride flag mixed into the team's logo on Saturday, although pitcher Clayton Kershaw made a slight tweak to his hat. Kershaw, who is a devout Christian, inscribed next to the LGBTQ+-inspired logo 'Gen 9:12-16' - which is a passage from the Bible that claims the rainbow was not created by God to represent that demographic. Instead, the passage reads: 'And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth."' That extract from the Bible, which comes just after the story of Noah and his family surviving a worldwide flood on an arc, suggests the rainbow is actually the sign of a covenant God made to never destroy the earth with a flood again. Kershaw's religious statement has gone viral on social media, with a number of users of the same faith commending him for reminding people of the rainbow's meaning. The Boston Red Sox sparked controversy by putting on a pregame drag show earlier this week One wrote: 'Classy move by Kershaw. The rainbow he supports has nothing to do with pride month.' 'Courage to stand up for truth,' said another. While another fan put: 'That's a clever counter!' Others, however, were critical of the baseball player for doctoring a hat designed to raise awareness for equality. 'The rainbow can have multiple meanings,' one argued. 'Why cant the rainbow mean both?' 'What a disappointment,' concluded another.

Brad Pitt, 61, debuts bizarre tie dye look in latest midlife crisis makeover

Brad Pitt debuted another striking look while out in New York City on Saturday, after previously revealing a fashion makeover on Friday night. The 61-year-old acclaimed actor was dressed in double tie-dye as he wore a multicolor T-shirt and sweatpants. Pitt — who enjoyed a double date with girlfriend Inez de Ramon this week — was joined by Jimmy Fallon, who also wore a full tie-dyed getup. The two entertainers were filming a segment for the former SNL star's show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Brad sported a long-sleeved white shirt under his top layer, rolling up the sleeves to bare his tattooed arms, a watch, and beaded bracelets. The Oscar-winning performer wore his hair in a buzz cut and flaunted his timeless looks with a grizzled beard. Jimmy was clean shaven and rocked his familiar wispy haircut during the rainy day. On Friday night Pitt seemed to call back to his Fight Club character Tyler Durden's style as he stepped out in a shiny lavender silk shirt, left partially unbuttoned to tease his chest hair. He and his 32-year-old girlfriend were heading out for a night on the town as they met up with Bradley Cooper and his model girlfriend Gigi Hadid. The actor has been focused on his age-gap relationship and his new F1 film. Brad lit up the night with his lustrous statement shirt, which complemented a lilac suit he wore earlier this week in Mexico City while doing movie promo. He teamed his top half with an unmissable pair of black velvet pants with a faded imprint on the front and shiny, black, square-toed shoes. Despite it being the evening, the show business veteran added a pair of aviator sunglasses while holding his girlfriend's hand. Ines, who is the Vice President of fine jewelry brand Anita Ko Jewelry, showed off her toned and tanned legs in an off-the-shoulder, beige, gathered minidress. The brunette beauty complemented her dress with a matching quilted Chanel handbag and open-toe stiletto heels. She gripped her boyfriend's hand tightly as they walked out of a building and past a crowd of his fans. Gigi showed up to the outing looking casual in loose-fitting silver trousers, a white shirt, and a light wash denim jacket. Cooper was also effortlessly stylish in a black T-shirt with a long, thin, silver-toned chain hanging around his neck.
