Tim Davies doesn't look like this anymore! Today show weatherman shocks as he unveils dramatic transformation

Daily Mail28-04-2025

Today show weatherman Tim Davies had viewers doing a double take on Tuesday morning.
The veteran presenter, 41, ditched his clean-cut look in favour of grey hair and a sizeable beard.
Tim explained to co-hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo that his transformation took place at the Melbourne Comedy Theatre, where a makeup artist styled him to resemble a famous character.
'I've ventured to Middle Earth, better known as the bowels of the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne. I'm with Head of Makeup for Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale,' Tim began.
He humorously recounted the experience of being transformed into various iconic figures, before settling on Gandalf.
'This morning, she has provided me with a bit of a make-under. I've had Kenny Rogers and Lucius Malfoy. We were going for Gandalf!' Tim said.
Tim praised the makeup artist as a 'wizard' for her skillful portrayal, which left him looking nearly unrecognisable as Ian McKellen's iconic character from the Peter Jackson films.
With his unkempt hair and bushy beard, Tim looked world's away from the stylish weatherman he is known as.
However, the long-time presenter still had his trademark cheeky grin.
Before finding fame on Today, the weatherman worked in radio as the news presenter for The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
According to his Nine bio, Tim was employed by Austereo for about 12 months back in 2013, and even posted about his departure on Instagram in November that year.
Tim started his media career working as a Sydney traffic reporter at Nova 96.9.
Ironically, Tim got his start in television working for the Today show's main rival, Channel Seven's Sunrise, in 2009.
He also worked for Weekend Sunrise and The Morning Show, before leaving the network in 2013.
Tim then joined Channel Nine in 2014, working as a reporter for Nine News and presenter for Nine News Early Edition.
He was the occasional fill-in host for Today Extra and Weekend Today, before joining the Today show on a full-time basis in 2020.
'Thrilled to be joining the new look @thetodayshow team in 2020,' he announced on Instagram at the time.
'After 5+ years with @9news it'll be hard to hand over my little blue microphone cube & leave an incredible newsroom.
'I've been so lucky to tell remarkable stories, meet fascinating people, travel to places I've never been & call myself a colleague of some seriously talented journalists, producers, camera & sound operators, editors, graphic artists & control room crews.

While most people were delighted to see it the candid video shared by Meghan Markle - others were less impressed as Meghan got some backlash over her dodgy dancing with Harry Meghan Markle's video of her twerking in the delivery room before daughter Lilibet's birth divided fans this week but she seems to have put the embarrassment behind her. To honour her daughter's fourth birthday Meghan posted the video on her Instagram account this week- giving fans an inside glimpse of the day the young princess was born. Prince Harry also featured in the video wth a twerking Meghan Markle in the delivery room before Princess Lilibet was born in 2021. ‌ The candid moment shows Meghan in the late stages of her pregnancy, dancing around a hospital room to the song Baby Mama with Harry by her side, in an attempt to induce her labour. Alongside the divisive video, Meghan wrote: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!" ‌ Despite the backlash over her dodgy dancing with Harry to the soundtrack of Starrkeisha's Baby Mama song, defiant Meghan is thrilled by the reaction in America. A source told MailOnline: "Meghan doesn't care about the haters in Britain calling her vulgar. Americans thought the twerking video was hilarious and relatable." One person wrote on X: "Oh my. That's really just awful," while another user joked: "They are cringe to the max… I feel nauseous." Others claimed the Sussexes were making a mockery of their royal titles by sharing the video, with one writing: "Good grief, these people have titles. Ruining the reputation and respect of the Royal Family, one Instagram post at a time." However, others sharing their thoughts on the video, praisied their fun and caring relationship and were delighted to see it. One person voiced their support Harry and Meghan, writing on X: 'This is everything! Harry on beat and Meghan dropping it like it's hot. They look like they have so much fun together.' A source close to the Sussexes added: "Meghan is very pleased with the video. In the UK everyone's reaction has been a bit prudish but everywhere else, particularly in America and especially with young people, it has been a huge hit." Meghan is about to launch a series of new products as part of her As Ever line – including rosé wine. The source added: "She and her team count it [the video] as a 'win', which can only be a boost for sales. Her new products are marketed at Americans and not at the UK market." Meghan and Harry celebrated Lilibet's fourth birthday on Wednesday, with Meghan posting a series of unseen family photos to her Instagram account to celebrate the special day. Meghan shared a black-and-white snap of herself cuddling Lili, while they both sported windswept hair as they sat together seemingly on a boat.

Kylie Jenner goes topless under sexy black robe after shock admission about her breast implants

Kylie Jenner put on a busty display in a series of sultry snaps that were shared to her Instagram page on Saturday. The beauty mogul, 27 - who recently got candid about her breast implants - struck a variety of poses while taking snaps in the reflection of a mirror. The mom-of-two donned a black, satin robe that was partially open at the front and loosely secured with a belt which tied around her waist. Jenner's long, dark locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant curls. Her makeup was glammed up for the spontaneous photo session and comprised of a layer of mascara on her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes. A warm blush was added to her cheekbones while a nude-colored matte tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch. The post also included a short reel as she showed off the lowkey look while filming inside what appeared to be a hotel bathroom. Jenner penned in the caption to her 393 million followers: 'having a reaally good hair day.' It comes just days after the TV personality gave a shock admission about her breast implants earlier this week on Wednesday. The Kylie Cosmetics founder responded to a fan on TikTok who had asked the reality star to unveil details about her past procedure. Back in 2023, Jenner admitted to undergoing a boob job when she was only 19-years-old, which had been shortly before she became pregnant with her eldest child Stormi. A social media user named Rachel Leary uploaded a clip to the platform and also typed out, 'help a girl out @Kylie Jenner. i just want to know how to get them to sit like that, respectfully.' The star saw the post and then offered her own response in the comment section of the video. '445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!!! silicone!!! garth fisher!!! hope this helps lol,' Kylie wrote, which prompted the fan to excitedly gush, 'KYLIEEEEE!!! you are the best THANK YOU!!!!' Dr. Garth Fisher was the same plastic surgeon that Kylie's mom Kris Jenner also went to back in 2011 to undergo a facelift. The momager recently commented on Fisher's post as she thanked him for performing her facelift over a decade earlier. 'Garth you are a such a superstar class act!! You did my first facelift in 2011... 14 years ago!!!' she began. 'And made it the most amazing experience ever and even gave us access to film so that others could get a peek inside what it's like and not be afraid...' Jenner concluded with, 'You have taken great care of us always and remain such a close and treasured friend!! Such an incredible talent!!' Kylie has previously been open about undergoing cosmetic procedures aside from the breast implants, such as getting fillers. During an episode of The Kardashians in 2023, the reality star opened up about her boob job which occurred when she was age 19. While having a conversation with close pal Stassie Karanikolaou, the mom-of-two expressed, 'You know I got my breasts done before Stormi, within six months of having Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20. 'They were still healing,' Kylie said, and then added, 'I had beautiful breasts. Just gorgeous, perfect size. I just wish I never got them done, to begin with.' However, the Khy founder told her friend that her viewpoint on undergoing surgery has altered since welcoming her daughter Stormi, seven. The beauty mogul shares Stormi as well as son Aire, three, with ex and rapper Travis Scott. 'I have a daughter. I would be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19,' Jenner admitted. 'She's the most beautiful thing ever. I want to be the best mom and the best example for her. I wish I could be her and do it all again because I wouldn't touch anything.' And during an interview with British Vogue last year, Kylie discussed facing judgement over rumors that she had undergone cosmetic surgery when she was a teenager. 'Naturally you're in such a different place,' she explained in regards to being a teen. 'The world put a lot of pressure on a teenager, me, to make the right decisions. 'And I just have to be gentle with myself because although I carried so much responsibility in the moment, I was just trying to do what was best for me. I was just trying my best as a human.' Kylie has been keeping busy and was spotted attending a Pilates class alongside her older sister Kendall in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. The beauty mogul showed off her toned midriff wearing a black, busty sports bra as well as a pair of black leggings. She also jumped to Instagram to share a carousel of snaps from the past week - including a few as she attended a Knicks game with boyfriend Timothee Chalamet. The couple - who were first linked in 2023 - have recently been spotted at a few NBA games together, although she did not include the actor in her photo series.

Jessie J emotional gig words hinted at star's cancer weeks before announcement

On Wednesday, Jessie said she made her diagnosis public to help her process the news, and to show solidarity with others who are going through a similar experience Singer Jessie J appeared to drop a huge hint about her cancer diagnosis last Price Tag star, 37, shocked fans this week by revealing she has early stage breast cancer and is holding on to the word 'early' and plans to undergo surgery after her performance at this month's Summertime Ball. The revelation made her words at her intimate North London concert on May 20 seem all the more poignant and significant. On Wednesday, Jessie said she made her diagnosis public to help her process the news, and to show solidarity with others who are going through a similar experience. "I just wanted to be open and share it, " she expressed. "One, because, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. ‌ ‌ "I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much similar and worse-that's the bit that kills me." She continued: "The timing of it has been mad but also beautiful and given me this incredible perspective in this time. "But honestly I need to process it and talk about it and, I need a hug. You have loved me through all my good and hard times. And I don't want this to be any different," she concluded. Just weeks earlier she told gig-goers at Union Chapel that she was putting herself first and wanted to have fun. Jessie said on stage: 'I know we are all going through our own battles in life, we are all struggling in our own way. We talk about it sometimes, and sometimes we don't. 'I'm grateful I have the voice and the strength to be able to put those experiences into songs that people can take and make them their own soundtrack to help them get through a tough time, a good time, a scary time.' When she introduced her new single No Secrets, she also seemed to be referencing her cancer battle. Jessie said: 'This song for me, more so than ever right now, is getting me through my life.' ‌ Earlier this week, the former Voice UK coach told her 13.9 million Instagram followers: 'Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I'm highlighting the word 'early' – cancer sucks in any form – but I'm holding on to the word 'early'. I have been in and out of tests this whole period.' No Secrets details Jessie's relationship with fame and her heartbreaking 2021 miscarriage, which she has since spoken openly about. Jessie, who is performing at Wembley Stadium next Sunday, told fans she would then 'disappear for a bit' to have surgery. ‌ But the singer said that despite her diagnosis, she still feels like she has found her 'happy ending'. Jessie and basketball player Chanan Colman welcomed their first child, son Sky, in May 2023. Talking about her song Sunflower, which is yet to be officially released, Jessie said: 'I wrote this song about my boy – the happiest boy in the world unless he hasn't had enough snacks. He is the love of my life, the joy of my day… I jump out of bed at 5am to make him something to eat and then wait for him to wake up. 'I never thought I would live this life… I prayed for it for so long. The joy it brings me is overwhelming. I hope anyone who has that same feeling in their heart gets their happy ending. It's magic.
