Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala breaks silence after suffering horror injury during PSG Club World Cup clash
The 22-year-old sustained the horrific injuries after he collided with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma at the end of the first half, before the Champions League winners booked their semi-final tie against Real Madrid with a 2-0 win.
Footage of the incident showed the Bayern star's ankle getting trapped in between the Italian shot-stopper's body and arms as he went for the ball.
The momentum of both players then carried them in opposite directions, with the forward's ankle bearing the brunt of the collision, twisting at a sickening angle as a result.
The freak accident left Donnarumma in tears and he dropped to his knees with his head in his hands as Bayern players swarmed to Musiala's assistance.
The Italian keeper later posted on Instagram to wish Musiala well, writing: 'All my prayers and well wishes are with you @jamalmusiala10.'

Musiala left the field on a stretcher and is now expected to be sidelined for at least four months
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was nevertheless unhappy with his opposition number, accusing Donnarumma of 'taking a risk' with the way he went into the challenge.'
But Musiala, who flew back from Atlanta to Munich to undergo surgery, has now said that no one is to blame for the horror injury.
'I wanted to say thanks for all the love and support. It's nice to see how the football world comes together in times like this. I've really appreciated it,' he said in a video posted on Instagram.
'The surgery went really well, I'm in good care and I wanted to say there's no one to blame for this.'
'I think situations like this happen and now I'm just going to use the next period of time to build up my strength and positivity again.'
The Germany international is expected to be out 'for the next few months', according to Bayern.
Bayern boss Vincent Kompany had described the moment as 'emotional' after the match and admitted: 'Of course it didn't look good. I hope it's not too bad, but it didn't look good. I hope he'll have the best possible recovery.'
Musiala scored 21 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions last season as Bayern won the Bundesliga.

Liverpool would not cruise to title even with Alexander Isak
Jamie Carragher has warned Liverpool that signing Alexander Isak would not guarantee them the Premier League title. The Reds won the league by 10 points last season and have since splurged almost £300million on new signings. They have also had a £110m offer for Isak turned down by Newcastle, but the Sweden striker's future is still up in the air. Gary Neville reveals his Man United prediction for Premier League season after £200m investment in Ruben Amorim's frontline
Gary Neville believes Manchester United will finish 'seventh or eighth' in the Premier League this season. The Sky Sports pundit's former club have invested £200m in a new frontline this summer following last year's hugely disappointing 15th-placed showing. And there is a quiet confidence within Old Trafford of a much better campaign this time around, with manager Ruben Amorim now able to call upon the potentially-explosive trio of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko. Neville is expecting a much better showing this time around and believes United will be targeting a top-six finish. 'That would be healthy,' he said, 'but my feeling is probably between seventh or eighth.' Speaking at the launch of Sky's new coverage of the Premier League season, Neville added that his former club could benefit by not having to play on the continent this year. 'Without Europe, they could get into the top six if they have a good run,' he said. 'It has to help, because there's basically more training time, less pressure on the players, less injuries, it means that the best players can play more often in the league, and not have those demands of a Thursday night game.' Neville thinks that those within the corridors of power at Old Trafford will be aiming higher than his prediction. 'I think they'll be looking at Champions League,' he said, when asked by what would represent success. 'I think that'll be the ambition, obviously. I think we've gone past the point now where we say Manchester United have to win the league, I think that's unrealistic.' Neville has been impressed by United's recruitment. 'Those three signings, if you said to me after that Tottenham game in the Europa League that Manchester United would have a forward line of those three that they've signed, I'd take that, I'd snap my hand off,' he said. 'Two of them are proven Premier League players, obviously they've got to step up a level, Sesko's young, he's got potential, can they somehow settle those three players in to how he wants to play in that system? Can they embed themselves at United? Can they get the probably 35-40 goals which would be par for those three players?' United kick off their campaign against last year's runners up Arsenal on Sunday at Old Trafford in what may well be a tough assignment. 'I'm glad they've got that start,' Neville said. 'Why? I just think they need something big.'
