Summer Walker Springs for Luxury in ‘Spend It' Video
Summer Walker puts a price on love in the luxurious music video for her latest single 'Spend It.' In the Lesly Lynch-directed video, the R&B singer plans an elaborate heist. Since she can't get back the time she wasted on a relationship, she figures, she can at least replace it with diamonds and dollars.
'Spend it on me, l love when you to spend it on me/Throw it to me, take me up in Givenchy/Before my love couldn't be bought/But now that's all I want,' Walker sings. 'Drip me in diamonds, that's how you make it right/Drape me in silk and we would never fight, no, no.'

The 'Spend It' video features special guest appearances from P-Valley's Gail Bean, Miracle Watts, and Brandee Evans, as well as Angela White and Eric Roberts. At the end of the clip, viral social media personality Joanne the Scammer appears to suggest the story still hasn't reached its final chapter. In one still, a gold card flashes across the screen reading: 'WhereIsTheAlbum.com.'
The website features a timer tracking the days, hours, minutes, and seconds that have passed since Walker's last album. Just below it, the singer shared a video of studio footage overlayed with an announcement about what's holding the album up.
'I just feel like I don't really have the answer, like we all want to hear Rihanna's album, but she's not gonna tell us. She's not sitting here giving us PSA fucking videos every five seconds,' Walker said. 'I've been waiting on P-Valley for eternity. They're not giving me updates. I don't get updates about a lot of things. I've been wondering when white supremacy is gonna stop. No one's gonna ever give me that answer. So I just feel like they gotta deal with the same way I have to deal with it.'
She added: 'You've gotta let me cook. It's actually almost done. With time, it just keeps getting better. I tried to turn this album in so long ago, and [manager] Justice [Baiden] was just like, 'Girl, please, you're gonna embarrass us.' And I'm glad that he fucking really made me keep going. I'm not gonna cap I think it was gonna get this good. And now is that some shit where I'm like, 'Wow, I love this.' Every day we add some new shit. Now we're down to the details.'
Walker first announced her upcoming third studio album Finally Over It in October 2024, but an official release date has not been set. The record will feature 'Spend It' and the previously released single 'Heart of a Woman.' Finally Over It will also mark the conclusion of the album trilogy Walker started with Over It in 2019 and continued with Still Over It in 2021.
In a review of Still Over It, Rolling Stone described the album as 'the affirmation of new love that Walker's fans have been waiting to hear for years: Lord willing, Summer Walker still has a lot of life — in love, and in music — ahead of her.'

Diddy' Combs sexually battered Ms. Bryana 'Bana' Bongolan, dangled her off of a 17-story-high balcony, and then slammed her onto the patio furniture on the balcony," the lawsuit alleged. "His outrageous and abhorrent conduct violated Ms. Bongolan's fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety." After the suit was filed, a legal representative for Combs denied Bongolan's allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone. "Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have. Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims,' the rep said. 'Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.' Combs is now criminally charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in federal court. He has pleaded not guilty. In the indictment against Combs, prosecutors said that Combs is alleged to have once dangled someone over a balcony. In her lawsuit, Bongolan said she had been sleeping in the apartment of Combs' then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. Bongolan said in the lawsuit that she suddenly heard Combs shouting and banging on the door of the apartment. "Mr. Combs gained entry to the apartment and, upon seeing Ms. Bongolan on the balcony, advanced on her," the suit alleges. "He grabbed her, turned her back to his chest, and molested her by groping her breasts as she yelled to be left alone. When Ms. Bongolan began to physically struggle, Mr. Combs shifted his hands from her breasts to her arm pit area and lifted Ms. Bongolan up on the banister of the 17th floor balcony, while repeatedly yelling: 'Do you know what the f— you did!'"After getting down from the banister, Bongolan claimed Combs lifted her higher over the balcony. The suit claimed that the alleged assault ended when Ventura emerged and began screaming for Combs to stop, before he allegedly pulled Bongolan back and slammed her on a table. Ventura previously testified at Combs' trial for four days and made allegations of abuse, including rape, over the course of their 11-year relationship. Drake has announced his UK and Europe tour dates, following on from his history-making three-night stop at London's Wireless Festival. The Canadian rapper, who has five Grammys to his name, last visited the UK in 2019 but is set to bring his Anita Max Win tour here in the summer. Here's all you need to know about where you can catch Drake in the UK and Europe, as well as why his Wireless appearance is so special. Drake is making a landmark appearance at London's Wireless Festival as part of his UK tour leg where he will, for the first time ever at the event, headline all three nights but with three different sets. He'll hit the Finsbury Park festival from 11-13 July to mark its 20th anniversary and will be joined by different support acts each night. Netflix Lands Untitled Action Comedy Feature Starring Andy Samberg and Jason Momoa — GeekTyrant
In a highly competitive bidding war involving several studios and streamers, Netflix has landed an exciting action comedy film with Jason Momoa ( Aquaman , A Minecraft Movie ) and Andy Samberg ( SNL , Brooklyn Nine-Nine ) set to star. The currently untitled film is set in Momoa's native Hawaii, though further details as to the plot are under wraps. Samberg's Party Over Here and Momoa's On The Roam will produce. The script will be written by a pair of highly decorated SNL alums - 11x Emmy nominee Rob Klein and eight-time nominee John Solomon. A director has not yet been selected.
