Geelong's Bailey Smith spotted with influencer Tammy Hembrow only weeks after her breakup from Matt Zukowski

7NEWSa day ago
AFL star Bailey Smith has sparked headlines after being spotted getting close with fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow on the Gold Coast, just weeks after she announced her divorce from former reality star and podcaster Matt Zukowski.
The pair were seen at the popular Burleigh Pavilion just over a week ago, where witnesses claimed they were holding hands and kissing for hours.
According to the Herald Sun, they were also seen together again on Saturday night following Geelong's victory over Essendon.
Photos featured by The Daily Mail show Hembrow and Smith realising their relationship was no longer a secret when they noticed cameras stationed outside the Burleigh Pavilion. The pair had dinner inside the venue at ritzy restaurant Rick Shores.
A reporter from the publication also questioned Smith upon his return to Melbourne on Sunday.
In a video shared online, Smith is seen responding to a photographer who mispronounced Hembrow's surname. 'F***in' hell, do your research,' he told the photographer. When asked directly if he and Hembrow are together, Smith replied: 'What do you want me to say?,' before cursing at the reporter.

Hembrow, 31, and Zukowski, 30, announced their separation in June, only seven months after tying the knot.
The couple had faced months of speculation about their relationship status, and Hembrow eventually confirmed the breakup in a seven-minute-long emotional video.
'I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am getting a divorce,' Hembrow said.
'Did I think this was going to happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever.'

Zukowski, who rose to fame on Love Island, has now broken his silence on the recent developments, admitting that he feels blindsided by the news.
'We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don't understand how someone can move on so quickly. It's been 48 days and I'm still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage to someone. I'm trying to focus on myself and heal,' he told the Herald Sun.
It is believed that photos of the pair have been quietly circulating and may be released publicly in the near future.
Hembrow and Zukowski tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in Byron Bay in November 2024.
The Gold Coast influencer shares three children with two previous partners, her ex-fiancés Reece Hawkins and Matt Poole.

AFL coach blows up at filmmakers in ‘really strong scenes'

The Lions coach was caught off guard when the film crew came to the Gabba. AFL staff have had to step in and watch over Prime Video filmmakers after they 'ruffled feathers' at Brisbane during production for the upcoming documentary. Prime Video are currently going behinds the scenes with several AFL clubs to make a docuseries called Box to Box, not dissimilar to Netflix's famous Drive To Survive franchise that has been a raging success for seven seasons and changed the sport of Formula One forever. WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Brisbane annoyed with Netflix documentary makers. But it appears there was one fairly important person who was left off the email chain before filmmakers turned up to follow Brisbane, with Lions coach Chris Fagan 'absolutely filthy' at how it played out. 'AFL staff themselves have now gone on the road with this production crew because they have ruffled feathers,' Caroline Wilson told The Agenda Setters on Monday night. 'But the really strong scenes took place at the Gabba. They (Prime) turned up the week of the Q-Clash, Chris Fagan was absolutely filthy, said he had no idea that they were coming on board, and had he known, he wouldn't have agreed to it. 'I think he agreed after a conversation with (footy boss) Danny Daly. Perhaps he hadn't really been paying attention, but I don't think he was thrilled. 'But they've left the Gabba now, they won't be back. 'They're at the Gold Coast — I think there was some dissatisfaction too at the Gold Coast, at how many players they wanted to get involved. Certainly Touk Miller's involved there. 'And interestingly, the Melbourne Football Club have become involved in recent days since the sacking of Simon Goodwin.' Stream The Agenda Setters for free, live or on-demand, anytime at 7plus Since the success of Drive To Survive, Netflix and other streaming giants have explored similar ventures with several different sports. This will be Prime Video's second AFL series, having produced one from the 2020 season as well. The Test has been a huge success for cricket on Prime Video. Netflix's Full Swing, which is golf's version of Drive To Survive, has been a major success over its three seasons. Break Point, which was a similar show for tennis, was not received quite as well, and only lasted one series. Others include Tour de France: Unchained (cycling) and Quarterback (American football), which are both on Netflix.

AFL announces Snoop Dogg, record crowds ahead of 2025 Grand Final

The AFL has served up a pre-finals flex after being hammered with claims from the NRL it's Australia's No.1 sport, declaring one in every 21 Australians is a club member while confirming global music icon Snoop Dogg would be the entertainment headliner for the grand final. AFL officials also confirmed that more than seven million people had attended games for the third time ever, with two rounds still to go, having opened with a new record in round 1 and another crowd record at Gather Round in Adelaide. Luring music megastar Snoop Dogg for an MCG debut at the grand final in September comes after epic performances from first Robbie Williams, then Kiss and Katy Perry on the AFL's biggest day. Snoop Dogg vowed to make his performance 'unforgettable'. 'It's an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final — it's one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar,' the music megastar said. 'Can't wait to bring the energy and celebrate with the fans. Let's make it unforgettable.' US rapper Snoop Dogg will be rocking the MCG on AFL grand final day. Australian Rugby League Commission chair Peter V'landys has gone on the attack throughout 2025, spruiking his code as Australia's No.1 and citing TV metrics with hopes his next TV deal surpasses the Australian record $4.5bn agreement the AFL signed in 2022. 'They always look down their noses at us in rugby league,' he said recently of the AFL. 'They always think that we are the poor cousin. All of a sudden this poor cousin has become wealthy and we have overtaken them in audience.' But the AFL has countered with its release of crowd details that showed with two rounds still to be played, and one extra game, 7,002,277 fans have attended matches so far. Last weekend's average AFL crowd was in excess of 33,000. Only one NRL fixture, the clash between the Bulldogs and Warriors, had a crowd in excess of 25,000. The AFL also spruiked that nine clubs had broken their all-time membership record this year as the cumulative total across all 18 teams hit a new a record of 1,324,504 members, which equates to one in 21 Australians being an AFL club member. On top of the huge crowd and membership numbers, which dwarf the NRL considerably, the confirmation of rap mogul Snoop Dogg continues the recent performances of some of the world's biggest stars on AFL grand final day. AFL crowds are hitting record levels still. Picture: Brenton Edwards Snoop Dogg has been a sensation for more than three decades and in recent years has taken his talents to the NFL Super Bowl and the Paris Olympics. 'The AFL grand final is the biggest event on the Australian sporting calendar – and this year, it just got a whole lot bigger,' AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon said. 'Snoop Dogg is a pioneer, a performer, and a true entertainer. He's played to packed stadiums around the world – but we think 100,000 fans at the MCG might just be his most iconic crowd yet. 'We want grand final day to be an unforgettable celebration of footy – and beyond the four quarters of the match, a celebration of culture, energy, and entertainment. Snoop fits that brief better than anyone. 'From Long Beach to the biggest stage in Australian sport – Snoop Dogg is coming to the MCG for the Telstra pre-game entertainment, and we're ready to make history.'
