Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, made by the same team, are as funny as anything on mainstream TV. Despite being animated, Hazbin Hotel is very much a show for adults, with both the comedy and plot lines often very not-safe-for-work. It has queer-friendly, gut-busting laughs, with surprisingly moving storylines and songs Lin Manuel-Miranda would be jealous of. The great strength of this being a YouTube show is that it would be extremely hard to pitch to a network. As they control their own content, creators can push the humour and actually build story around compelling (but risque) issues around sex, gender and identity. The show is essentially set in a version of hell. Hazbin Hotel focuses on the daughter of Satan trying to run a hotel for demons with the aim of rehabilitating them so they can get to heaven. It's extremely irreverent, silly and subtle – a rousing story of someone coming into their own. Will Green, 35, London
It's hard to think of a soap opera that's also unmissable prestige viewing. Bangmouth Village is neither. I found this ingenious and genuinely funny new show via TikTok clips, and immediately binged the three exquisite episodes to date. Here's hoping for more. It has everything from devastating twists to realistic phone conversations to a true antihero of our time in Billy Bangmouth (portrayed by writer and director Christopher Bliss), who we know has been in prison because he tells us. Bliss also shares insights into his writing process on TikTok which are worth a watch. But please, please don't be tempted to play 'sticky bonnet' in real life. Rob, 42, Devon
I think when you stop being a child, history becomes dry and serious, so I love having a show like Puppet History, which feels like Horrible Histories – but for grownups. Every week they cover an event from history that's either mildly bonkers like 'Lisztomania' (the fan frenzy that surrounded Hungarian composer Franz Liszt in the 19th century) or someone you might not have heard of like Ching Shih, a pirate queen from China. They've always gone out of their way to shine a light on interesting bits of history that aren't often discussed, particularly when it comes to women and Africa. It's such a funny show and the Professor is my hero. Plus, each episode ends with an annoyingly catchy song! I would really recommend it as a historical version of the Muppets. Sabrina, Newcastle
My favourite YouTube show has got to be Video Game High School, brilliantly produced by Freddie Wong and RocketJump Studios. The series is set in a world where video games and esports are treated with the same seriousness and passion as traditional sports, following students at a high school dedicated entirely to gaming. Thanks to its crowdfunding success, VGHS had an impressive budget, which meant the action scenes were shot with exhilarating cinematic flair. At the time, this was genuinely groundbreaking for a YouTube show. But beyond the action, what made VGHS truly special was the character development driven by great acting performances. Was it cheesy sometimes? Absolutely, but in exactly the way that all high school shows are. Jet Lag: the Game is a fantastic series of games played using geography and public transport. Previous examples include country-wide games of hide and seek, tag across Europe and races to claim as many states or countries in a region as possible. While it's greatly enjoyable to see games unfold, it also functions well as a travel show showcasing quieter, more obscure locations and a solid manifesto for good public transport infrastructure. My favourite YouTube TV show is The Most Upsetting Guessing Game in the World (MUGG) on the Grouse House channel. I recommend it to anyone who loves a healthy dose of cracked Aussie alternative comedy. It's the highlight of my Monday evening when they upload new episodes. It gets me cackling like nothing else, and it's a great next show for anyone new to the Aunty Donna-verse. The goal of the MUGG is for the party host to guess each guest's 'quirks', but at the start of each episode the MC and the guests make all of the quirks as unhinged and unguessable as possible. As a result, things often go off the rails in hilarious ways. Each episode is intercut with talking head interviews where the players share their emotional states and try to explain what they were thinking as they tried to guess the unguessable. Good Mythical Morning is a weekday breakfast show which comes out at about 11am in the UK. I started watching it during the pandemic. The mix of humour, food and interesting facts really appealed to me. In some ways it reminds me of morning TV back in the 90s. It is hosted by Rhett and Link who describe themselves as 'internetainers'. It is funny, silly and mostly about food. There are a lot of spin-off shows including Last Meals, which is a chatshow like the Off Menu podcast but if they made the meals, hosted by Mythical chef Josh. Mim Gale, Leighton Buzzard
Soft White Underbelly videos are documentaries that take a hard look at what abuse, neglect, drugs and untreated mental illness have done to so many Americans. UNHhhh's premise is simple: two drag queens, Trixie and Katya, sit on bar stools in front of a green screen and deviate wildly from the topic they're given to discuss. It's a hilarious mix of observation, personal anecdotes and surreal editing that's all done in under quarter of an hour. The first time I saw it back in 2021, I had no idea what was going on. It was such a fever dream. But I tried another episode, then another. The improvised introductions that lead to their signature 'Because it's our show, and not yours' are unpredictable, but the show itself is one of those reliable things I can reach for whenever I need to laugh. Call me basic for recommending this one, but episode 119, 'Gurl, You Gay', has 11m views for good reason. Mary, Northumberland
PBS Space Time is an educational show focusing mostly on space science but also delving into particle and quantum physics. The host Dr Matt O'Dowd does an excellent job at explaining very complicated subjects in ways that make them approachable. While some equations are covered, they are explained in a way that doesn't make them impossible to understand if you're not particularly gifted when it comes to maths. Mostly, however, the topics are discussed in a way that explains what is happening without you needing to understand the mathematical reasons behind it. All of this is combined with excellent visualisations that really pull the whole show together. If you're interested in space and like to learn, I would highly recommend this show as an excellent way to enhance your understanding of space time. Callum, 32, Blandford St Mary

'My £2.49 Morrisons Too Good To Go bag contents made me feel physically sick'
A woman was left seriously disappointed when she eagerly opened a Too Good To Go bag from Morrisons Café, only to be left feeling 'sick' and with the 'heebie jeebies' Too Good To Go bags are all the rage thanks to the fact that you can get nice food for a fraction of the normal price. But when one woman went to pick up her £2.49 'hot food' bag from Morrisons Café, she was left bitterly disappointed and feeling "sick" at what she found inside it. Becky Chorlton thought she'd scored a cheap dinner with the bag, as she received two boxes within it, and was seriously excited to open them. But the first one she opened did not get her excited to rush home and eat it. One of the boxes contained a vacuum-sealed chicken tikka masala alongside boil-in-the-bag rice, and she wasn't impressed. In a video posted to her TikTok account, Becky, who has 415,000 followers, gasped: "Oh my God, what is that? That's so weird, what the hell? "I'm not sure about that. That kind of gives me the heebie-jeebies". Too Good To Go bags are a popular way to grab a mix of tasty, often freezer-safe meals at a bargain price while doing your bit to reduce food waste, but sometimes, they miss the mark of the customers' expectations because oftentimes, customers are unaware of how things are made behind the scenes. Becky was grossed out, but she wanted to check out the second box and was desperately hoping that it would be something more delicious-looking than the first. When she peeked inside the box, her mood instantly changed, as she spotted a whopping seven hash browns, three slabs of black pudding, and a mountain of sausages for her to tuck into on the spot. In the comments, viewers were split with their opinions, as some were impressed at how cheap the boxes were and how good the value was, however, some were totally put off by the contents of the first box. One commenter said: "I'd be the exact same with meat in a bag, even chicken in microwave meals can make me feel a bit dodgy sometimes". "It's £2.49, be grateful," someone else urged, asking her to consider why she was disappointed with the first boxes' offering. Another person said: "That's not bad at all – sure, the plastic pouches aren't appetising, but any food would look like that in a plastic pouch". Morrisons has been contacted for comment. It's not the first time Morrisons Café has come under fire for not meeting expectations. Senior Social News Reporter Danielle Kate Wroe picked up a £10 ingredients bag and was left flabbergasted at the contents, referring to them as 'insulting' as they were allegedly worth £30. All it contained was: 2.5kg of mixed carrots and parsnips 2.5kg cauliflower gratin 4 sachets of nacho cheese She wrote: "After opening the bag, I truly felt deflated. Obviously, I was doing this for a bit of fun - an experiment, if you will, to see whether the Morrisons Cafe bags really were as bad as some had made them out to be on TikTok. "But it's no joke if you spend your hard-earned cash on something that's supposed to be worth £30 only to find that it's not even worth the tenner you spent on it". When approached for comment regarding Danielle's issue, a spokesperson from Too Good To Go said: "We are committed to ensuring a positive experience for everyone who saves food with us. While food surplus is naturally unpredictable, we work closely with all of our partners to uphold quality and value standards. "If users feel these haven't been met, we encourage them to contact Customer Care via the app so we can investigate and resolve the issue. We're sorry this Surprise Bag fell short and will be reminding the store of our minimum value requirements. "While disappointing, cases like this represent a very small percentage of the thousands of bags we save every day as part of our mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together."

Normal-looking 3-bed house leaves people horrified by what's hiding in the back garden – as people cry ‘it must stink'
FROM the outside, this semi-detached house for sale in County Durham doesn't look too out of the ordinary. However, people have been left grossed out at the photo of the back garden of this £130,000 property. 3 While the three-bedroom pad has a walled garden with turf, it's the upkeep that has left internet viewers scratching their heads. The photo, which was featured on the listing page, showed the garden appearing to be completely covered in dog poo. The pooch in question was also in the shot, and it seemed like a lot of cleaning would need to take place to restore the faux grass. According to the listing: 'The well-kept home features 3 bedrooms, three-piece bathroom, spacious lounge, kitchen and rear garden space.' The image has since been deleted from the site, but not before TikTok users had screenshotted it and shared their amazement. The @housinghorrors account wrote on a video which has nearly 970,000 views: 'I've never seen so much dog poop in my life.' Zooming in on the dog, he wrote: 'There is the culprit. 'He's actually pretty cute, it's not his fault. The owners have obviously not cleaned up after him.' Many people were shocked at the sight, with one saying: 'It's plastic grass too, that will absolutely stink.' Another added: 'Poor neighbours.' You'd never know I live in a council house thanks to how good it looks - I shopped in IKEA & an Amazon tip saved me cash And a third commented: 'The estate agent probably gave them fair warning to clean it up before going to take pictures.' TK Maxx's 'gorgeous' £55 leather bag is 'similar to' £315 style
A shopper told fashion fans to run to TK Maxx after spotting the 'cute' bag that resembles a designer version TK Maxx is stocking a leather bag that resembles a pricier version. The discount retailer has long been popular with shoppers searching for deals, and fashion lovers were amazed by one shopper's recent find. Posting on TikTok as @siikha00, London-based blogger Sikha showcased a "gorgeous" £54.99 bag that she'd spotted in-store. As seen in the video, the shopper found a genuine leather Silviano tote bag that was heavily discounted. According to the product tag, the bag's RRP is usually £255, and Sikha thought it resembled another bag with a higher price tag. She told followers: "Don't walk, run to TK Maxx because I found this bag that kind of looks like the Dragon Diffusion bag that I've been wanting for the longest time." She also included a picture of the Rosanna Woven Shoulder Bag, showing viewers her dream style. Sikha continued: "It's really cute. The material is a bit different of course because it is a different thing. It also has a zip, there's a few pockets inside, which is very helpful." Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the bag is available on TK Maxx's website. Shoppers can check their nearest store here.
