Russian Woman Reveals 3 Reasons Why She Married Indian Man: 'He Always...'

A Russian woman living in India has shared a viral video, revealing the three reasons why she married an Indian man. The woman named Kseniia Chawra first arrived in India for spiritual training for a few weeks, but ended up staying after finding her now-husband, and falling in love with the sound and smell of India. In the now-viral video, titled '3 reasons why I married Indian man', Ms Chawra shared a glimpse of her life, showing her husband and child, whilst captioning the post: "Love you, the best husband in the world." On the text overlay, Ms Chwara revealed the three reasons: "He always cooks for me. He makes beautiful babies. He always takes care of me and loves me." See the viral post here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kseniia Chawra (@ 'Too cute' As of the last update, the video had garnered over 2.2 million views with hundreds of comments as social media users lauded the couple for being committed to each other. "Wish you and your family many blessings, joy, and happiness," said one user while another added: "So wholesome! He must be proud watching this." A third commented: "That food comment is too cute. You both are glowing with happiness." This is not the first instance when a foreigner has shared their experience of being married to an Indian man or enjoying their stay in the country. Last month, content creator Kristen Fischer listed 10 ways in which her life had changed since coming to the country four years ago. Ms Fischer said these changes, which included turning vegetarian, learning to cook Indian food and bargaining whilst shopping, had enriched her life. In the video, she could be seen enjoying her stay in the country with her daughters, wearing sarees as well as riding the Delhi Metro. In a previous video, Ms Fischer, a mother of four, said she does not "regret" her decision to set base in India, where she has met incredible people and seen amazing places.

These 4 Indian railways are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage sites—any guesses?

India's railways are a living, steaming slice of history! Dating back to the British era, some stations have been standing tall (and fully functional) for over a century. While the world upgraded to bullet trains, these vintage beauties stuck around and became legends. For generations, trains have been the go-to ride for budget-conscious travellers. But for true rail enthusiasts, it's not just the price tag, it's the charm, the clatter, the chai at every stop. And here's the real twist: Did you know that a few of these iconic railway stations have earned the UNESCO World Heritage Site badge? Now that's a ticket to fame! Here's all that you need to know. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai This railway station is an architectural marvel with a breath-taking fusion of Victorian Gothic and traditional Indian architecture and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This station was designed by F.W. Stevens and was completed in 1887. What makes this station an architectural marvel is the pointed arches, ribbed stone dome, stained glass windows, and carved gargoyles, which were created by Indian craftsmen. This is the perfect blend of two cultures giving a unique identity to the Mumbai station. This station will greatly give you the feel of the rapidity of life here, and the station becomes even more beautiful during sunset with a golden glow all around. This train travels from Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. The Darjeeling station is surrounded by colonial boarding schools and emerald tea gardens, and Mt. Kanchenjunga also plays a great role as it increases the beauty of the station. The Ghum station is the highest station in India, standing at 7,407 ft, and also has a DHR museum here that showcases the history of the railway, including old photos, models, and the oldest DHR locomotive, 'Baby Sivok'. Kalka Shimla Railway This station is covered by the Kalka–Shimla railway that goes through the Shivalik hills. The Shimla station was initially built in 1903 and it had wooden walls and a galvanized iron roof. Then it was rebuilt in 1921 and turned into a two-story brick masonry building. This station has a wood-framed colonial look located beside the Southern Himalaya. At this platform, one will find old semaphore signals and vintage Himalayan Queen or Shivalik Deluxe coaches that will definitely make you feel nostalgic. The railway line in itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as it offers the mesmerising views of the hills and surrounding villages and also connected Shimla, the summer capital of India during the British Raj, with the rest of the Indian rail system. Airline shocker: Parents ditch 10-year-old son at Barcelona Airport over expired passport

In a shocking twist of events at Barcelona Airport, a couple allegedly left their 10-year-old son behind at the terminal after discovering his passport had expired, choosing to board their flight home without him to avoid missing it. The disturbing event was first reported by The Sun and later confirmed by an airport worker who witnessed the situation unfold. The incident came to light through a viral TikTok video posted by a terminal employee named Lilian, who is also an air traffic controller. The video, which has garnered over 300,000 views, harshly criticised the parents' actions and has left many online users outraged. According to Lilian, the child was carrying two passports—one expired, and the other a Spanish passport that required a visa which hadn't been arranged. Instead of postponing their travel or staying back with their son, the parents allegedly made a baffling choice: they left the boy behind at the terminal and rang up a relative to come collect him later, as if he were forgotten luggage. Read more: 10 frequently asked questions about Schengen visa-free travel — answered 'The explanation given to [the authorities] was that the child was traveling with an expired passport from Spain, and needed a travel visa,' said Lilian, speaking Spanish in the clip. 'Since he didn't have a visa, they left the kid in the terminal and called a relative to pick him up.' However, airport staff intervened when they noticed the child alone and contacted the authorities. "He told them that his parents were on the plane on their way to their home country, going on vacation," Lilian said in her video, reported the Sun. 'As they did not have a visa, they left the child at the terminal and called a relative to come and pick him up.' The police were alerted without delay, and the aircraft's pilot was contacted at once. Upon verifying the bizarre situation, authorities confirmed that the parents had indeed boarded the flight, casually bringing along another, younger child, as if nothing was amiss. The flight crew was immediately briefed, and the parents' luggage was promptly offloaded. What was supposed to be a routine departure took a dramatic turn, as the couple was then escorted straight to the airport's police station for questioning. How is it possible for parents to leave their 10-year-old son at the terminal because he cannot travel due to documentation issues?' She added that while the parents treated the situation as perfectly normal, spoiler alert: it wasn't, and the law enforcement took it seriously. "They saw it as very normal. Obviously, I didn't see it as normal and the police didn't see it as normal either," she said. As of now, it remains unclear whether the parents were formally arrested or what legal consequences they may face. The incident has, however, raised serious concerns about child safety and parental responsibility during international travel.
