Inter star's X-rated admission on Barcelona heroics leaves Thierry Henry in stitches
Davide Frattesi scored in extra-time to earn Inter Milan a place in the Champions League final after an incredible back and forth semi-final match against Barcelona at the San Siro
Inter Milan hero Davide Frattesi left Thierry Henry in stitches in his post-match interview after firing the Nerazzurri to the Champions League final. The Italian midfielder scored to send the San Siro into jubilant celebrations in extra-time against Barcelona.
Inter had previously given up a two-goal lead on Tuesday night before Francesco Acerbi forced a further 30 minutes of play with a stoppage time equaliser following Barca's remarkable comeback. Frattesi then went on to provide the match-defining moment in the 99th minute.
The 25-year-old came off the bench as a 79th-minute replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and 20 minutes later was sprinting to the corner flag screaming after a very cool finish. The composure that Frattesi showed left Henry very impressed.
The Arsenal legend asked the goalscorer what was going through his mind as he chose to dummy shooting before firing the ball goalwards. "I didn't see a man that was nervous or that his heart was beating really fast," Henry told the match-winner following the game.
"I saw a guy that was composed to finish at that time in that tie, in that game. Explain to us how you thought about doing that."
"Thank you, I don't know," responded Frattesi. "Maybe because I was thinking if I don't score I'm f****d."
Inter's hero left the CBS Studio in stitches with Henry bowing his head and hitting the table. Former Juventus striker Alesandro Del Piero could not hide his smile, stood alongside Frattesi.
While Frattesi retained his composure at the crucial moment, that could not be further from the truth for his celebrations. The ex-Sassuolo ace almost passed out.
"I was fortunate to see out the game, as I was celebrating so much I was dizzy and nearly had a blackout!" Frattesi admitted. "I have to thank the physios, because yesterday I had an abdominal strain, so they did incredibly work getting me fit for this match.
"It's just incredible, I don't know what to say. I thought after the Bayern Munich game I couldn't repeat that emotion, but it was even more incredible tonight. This is the beauty of football.
"This has been my career, really. I wasn't blessed with incredible talent, but I am the last to give up and the first to believe, so this is a reward for effort and dedication."

Louis is romancing TV presenter Zara, who split with Sam late last year. The dinner took place with the lads and some teammates at Champneys spa in Tring, Herts, where they have been training for the match at Old Trafford. A source said: 'There is no beef between the pair and they're both going to ensure their love lives don't distract from such a big charity spectacle. They are fully aware that their every move is being scrutinised and they've broken bread with their teammates, so it'll be smooth sailing on the day.' Zara has already ruled herself out of attending. Sam also presented a video of his charity work in Guatemala to both sets of players. He said: 'I did a small talk in front of everyone, which was terrifying, and I maintain I think it's the most important thing I've done in my 32 years of life. 'I really do believe that. Getting to go to Guatemala to see what UNICEF do on the ground is just life-changing.' Unfortunately, Sam has been ruled out of playing in the game. He suffered injuries during his 260-mile running and cycling trek between London and Manchester, in aid of UNICEF, ahead of the match. Sam Thompson breaks silence on injury that forced him out of Soccer Aid and says he had to be 'carried' to physio room Sam explained: 'I'm now part of the coaching team, so I'm going to be on the sidelines along with Vicky McLure and also Tyson Fury, and I'm going to be putting my two pence in. "But I will still get to be part of it all.' HARRY: TYSON IS BOSS HARRY REDKNAPP will let England assistant boss Tyson Fury do whatever the boxer wants as he makes his coaching debut at Soccer Aid. He added: 'He's very similar to my old number two Joe Jordan. He was very quiet and would just look at an opposing manager and go 'shut it' and they would not say another word.' But the youngsters, who have also been on Bey's records, are not certain to follow in their mum's footsteps, according to grandma Tina Knowles. She said: 'Beyonce's kids go on tour with her every single time since they were newborns. And it's wonderful for them.' Tina added: 'I don't know if they're going to go into that business or not. I hope that they don't.' Speaking of Bey and Jay-Z's eldest daughter Blue Ivy, who at 13 is a talented dancer, Tina told Sirius FM: 'Blue is super-talented, but Blue also rides horses well, plays the piano. DANNY'S PERFECT END TO ED ROW ED SHEERAN and Danny Dyer had a bizarre falling out over fish and chips – but have buried the hatchet thanks to football. It started earlier this year when the Perfect singer bashed London chippies, saying: 'You should always be able to see the sea when you have fish and chips, so anywhere that does traditional fish and chips in London. It's like getting sushi in Alabama.' To which proud Cockney geezer Danny fired back: 'That would only be a man who is not from London who would say that. 'I think he's from Ipswich, which I think sums him up.' Ouch. But Ed whisked actor Danny off to see his beloved West Ham play Ipswich Town last month. In a pre-recorded podcast chat with Louis Theroux, which has just dropped, Ed said: 'I was asked about fish and chips and I said you have to see the seaside to eat them, and I wouldn't necessarily want to eat them in London. He took a big offence to that. 'It was a jokey offence, he had a pop at me and I got in contact with him and just said, 'Come to Ipswich'.' He added: 'I love Danny Dyer, we used to have Danny Dyer nights on tour. We watched every single Danny Dyer film.' West Ham won 3 -1, so Danny had the last laugh. Yungblud is single after splitting from US musician and actor Jesse Jo Stark, who he reveals is the 'love of my life'. He also opened up about his close friendship with Anais, who is the daughter of Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher. Yungblud insists he is mates with her fella, actor Callum Scott Howells. He said: 'Of course I'm mates with Callum. Everyone is naughty. Anais is one of my best mates. 'Everyone is speculating, but I love Callum. He's a geezer. 'Anais makes me laugh. She is hilarious. I think she is a legend.' Yungblud will hold his very own one-day music festival, Bludfest, at Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday. He said: 'It feels like all my plans are coming together. Ashley Cole tips Tino Livramento for ‘beautiful future' after Newcastle star shines for England U21s
TINO LIVRAMENTO will have a 'beautiful future' for club and country, says England's greatest left-back Ashley Cole. The Newcastle star is aiming to cap off a campaign that saw him lift the Carabao Cup and qualify for the Champions League by becoming a European champion. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 Tino Livramento produced a man of the match display in England U21s' win over Czech Republic Credit: Getty 4 Ashley Cole believes the star has a 'beautiful future' ahead of him with the Three Lions Credit: Getty Versatile Livramento has excelled at both right and left-back for the Magpies and was man of the match at the latter in the U21s' 3-1 Euro opening victory over Czech Republic on Thursday. Left-back has proven to be a problem position for England's seniors of late with eight players used there over the past year. Arsenal and Chelsea legend Cole won 107 caps for his country and is now Lee Carsley's U21s assistant manager. And he thinks England, who face Slovenia on Sunday in their second Group B clash, have struck gold with Livramento. READ MORE IN FOOTBALL GYO TIME Gyokeres decides between Man Utd and Arsenal as he 'rejects Premier League club' Cole, 44, said: 'I had the fortune to be around him when he was at Chelsea. He was in the 21s in the reserve group. You always see the passion and level he could get to. But of course, there's only a certain level of information we can give him. 'It's down to the players to take on that information, absorb it, and want to learn and listen and develop and get better. He's certainly one of them players. 'Him getting the opportunity at Newcastle and continuing to play first in football gave him the belief, the confidence in his own ability. And, of course, a manager that's trusted him to play at such a young age. He's developing into a top player.' Three-time Premier League and 2012 Champions League winner Cole continued: 'My job is to try and give all my experiences to every single player. BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS 'You do favour certain players and certain attitudes. He's got a great attitude. He's a great person, always willing to listen. 'I try not to compare myself to these guys. The information and detail I give is, we're a different stature. We have a different style of play. And it's just trying to give him the basics of how to defend all areas of the pitch, and see how he develops.' Ashley Cole picks his all-time team-mates XI... but does it boast more Arsenal or Chelsea stars? 4 Ashley Cole and Tino Livramento in action at England training Credit: Getty Cole, who admits some of the magic is not there anymore, takes a hands-on approach to coaching. And after sharing a pitch with Livramento and working with him up close, he insists that the sky is the limit for the Toon ace. He said: 'I can't move anymore. My ankle is gone. I was probably the worst player last week when I joined in. 'I try to give that little bit of knowledge as I'm playing. I can't run anymore, so it's more of a gob – which I've calmed down a bit! – but it's still there. I try to give as much as I can. 'As coach, you stand on the sideline and see how much information he takes on and takes on board. And I keep saying it, but the willingness to want to learn and be the best, is always a great trait to have. I try not to compare myself to these guys. We have a different style of play. And it's just trying to give him the basics of how to defend all areas of the pitch, and see how he develops. Ashley Cole on Tino Livramento 'Whatever level he wants to get to, he can get to because he's got that personality and desire. 'He's got a beautiful future, a bright future. Long may it continue that he keeps playing for Newcastle, keeps gaining experience and keeps his levels up.' Eyebrows were raised when Thomas Tuchel left Livramento, who won his first senior cap in November, out of his latest squad in order for him to come to the Euros. But the ex-Southampton ace revealed a conversation he had with the German about being a leader for the U21s in Slovakia and he says he is loving soaking up all the knowledge from his hero Cole. Livramento said: 'Thomas spoke to me about the senior squad and said that he wanted to speak to Lee as well about giving me that role. 4 'I've never played a tournament for England and any age group. I've always missed it through injuries. That's a big thing for me, coming here and getting this experience and playing with loads of boys that I've come through the age groups with. 'Ashley gets involved in the sessions. Even just watching him, he's still at the highest level of the way he communicates with all the boys. As a coach he's a bit more laid back. 'He sees things, he lets you train and he might pull you to the side after and do a little bit of one-to-one work. 'Obviously as a Chelsea fan when I was younger seeing him and stuff like that is a big thing for me to learn.'

An onlooker who saw Luke at McDonald's said: 'We heard that it was an advert and that he may have signed some sort of deal with McDonald's. "There were extras who cheered when he walked in the door and they closed the place down for three or four hours while they were shooting. "They had a close protection security guy there with him too. 'There was just one camera crew there and security made sure no one had phones inside." The Nuke was decked out in casual clothes with a polo shirt, blue jeans and black and white trainers for the shoot. He has previously bagged sponsorship agreements with the likes of Xbox, KP Nuts, fashion retailer BoohooMAN and YouTube group The Sidemen. Since erupting on the darts scene during the 2024 World Championships, Luke has been outspoken about his love of kebabs. But he made headlines when he swapped his usual post-match doner for a McDonald's in December 2023. Aged just 16 at the time, he said after booking his place in the round of 16 in the competition: 'I did say to the fans, do you want to see me getting a kebab? Darts ace Luke Littler bags huge gong in King's Birthday Honours alongside Strictly pair, Hollywood icon & ex-Towie star "But I just thought, 'Nah, McDonald's.'" Luke went on to become the youngest player ever to reach the final of the World Championships that year, aged 16 years and 347 days. This year he was crowned the competition's youngest ever champion at 17 years and 347 days old. McDonald's UK piggy-backed on Luke's success in January 2024, posting that its Double 10 McNuggets Sharebox was the 'perfect food' for watching him at the PDC World Championship. Luke has also spoken proudly about still having mates who work at McDonald's. The avid Manchester United fan revealed that legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson had advised him to stay grounded. He added: "My mum and dad told me to keep the friends I have. Give it a few years and I may meet someone along the way. "I have a couple of good friends from school and a few friends from different schools. "They are doing well. They have apprenticeships, at Asda or McDonald's, or want to be plumbers or electricians. "All have good jobs and are trying to make money for themselves." McDonald's gave no response when the Sun on Sunday asked if it had signed a new sponsorship with Luke. The Sun on Sunday also asked Luke's rep for comment.
