Here's when the familiar-looking Poco M7 Plus is coming
The Redmi 15, Redmi 15 5G, and Redmi 15C became official at the beginning of this month, and now Poco is almost ready to launch its own version of the Redmi 15 5G.
According to a new report, this will be sold as the Poco M7 Plus, joining the already available M7 and M7 Pro 5G. Over in India, Flipkart has a microsite up for an upcoming Poco device, and today's rumor claims it's all about the M7 Plus, even though the microsite itself doesn't mention the name yet.
The Poco M7 Plus will allegedly be unveiled in India on August 13. It will be priced at under INR 15,000, reportedly. Since it's going to be a rebranded Redmi 15 5G, we expect it to come with the exact same specs: a 6.9-inch 1080x2340 LCD screen with 144 Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's launch date leaks
Vlad, 06 August 2025 Samsung has already confirmed that it's launching the Galaxy S25 FE earlier in the year than its predecessor (which was unveiled on September 26). You may have been wondering exactly when to expect the S25 FE to make its debut, and a new report from Samsung's home of Korea claims to have the answer. It will allegedly be introduced on September 19. That's exactly one week earlier than the S24 FE, so it does count - then again, you may have been hoping for "earlier" to mean this month or in early September. The S24 FE actually became available on October 3, so if the September 19 date is when its successor will be released, that's a bit earlier still - due to machine translation it's not very clear if the Korean report is talking about the announcement or the actual availability date. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Over in Korea, the S25 FE is expected to cost less than KRW 1 million, which at the current exchange rates means approximately $721 or €620. How that will translate into pricing for other regions remains to be seen - it's never as simple as a straightforward currency exchange as you may know. The report also claims the S25 FE's price will either be identical to its predecessor's, or only slightly increase. The Galaxy S25 FE is rumored to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400 SoC, a tiny improvement compared to the Exynos 2400e in the S24 FE. It should boast a 6.7-inch 1080x2340 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus on top, a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 12 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone allegedly measures 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 190g. It's IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and should launch with One UI 8 atop Android 16. Compared to its predecessor, it's slightly shorter, narrower, thinner, and lighter, but at the expense of a battery that's smaller by 200 mAh (though it charges faster). Aside from the new SoC used, the main upgrade is in the selfie camera. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 128GB 8GB RAM $ 549.99 $ 549.99 256GB 8GB RAM $ 414.95 Source (in Korean)

Trump says Apple will spend more money to manufacture products in the U.S.
On the heels of President Donald Trump's announcement calling for the imposition of a 50% tariff on India, the president is expected to announce that Apple will spend another $100 billion to build more products in the U.S. Since the tariffs are an import tax, Apple products produced domestically would escape them. Currently, the vast majority of iPhone units sold in the U.S. are assembled in India, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Trump is doubling the tariff rate from 25% to 50% on U.S. imports from India due to the country's purchase of Russian oil. Trump says that India's purchase of Russian oil is helping the latter finance its war with Ukraine. While Cook has said that most iPhones sold in the U.S. are made in India, other Apple devices sold in the U.S., such as iPads, Apple Watches, and MacBooks, are produced in Vietnam. The president has long called for Apple to build more products in the U.S., including the iPhone. Even before getting sworn in for his first term, back in November 2016, then President-Elect Donald Trump told The New York Times that he would give Apple incentives to build a new U.S.-based factory that would turn out iPhone models. As recently as this past May, Trump said that he spoke with Cook and told him to stop building iPhones headed to the U.S. in India. Trump, instead, told Cook to build Apple's most important product in the United States. During his first term, Cook was able to convince Trump not to place tariffs on Apple products, including the iPhone, since it would allow South Korea-based Samsung to pick up U.S. sales at Apple's expense. In a statement, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said, "President Trump's America First economic agenda has secured trillions of dollars in investments that support American jobs and bolster American businesses."
