Israeli fresh attacks kill dozens across Gaza, including aid seekers
According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, the latest Israeli attacks targeted homes, shelters for displaced people, and aid distribution points, killing civilians in Deir al-Balah, Rafah, Gaza City, and Khan Yunis.
In one of the most deadly strikes, five people were killed while waiting for aid in western Rafah, while another five were killed in Deir al-Balah during a bombing that struck a civilian gathering. In Khan Yunis, Israeli forces killed at least 12 Palestinians in three separate attacks on tents sheltering displaced families. Additional bombings in the same area killed two more people in Al-Mawasi and injured others.
In central Gaza, 10 Palestinians were killed and more than 50 injured after Israeli forces opened fire on aid recipients along Salah al-Din Street and in the Netzarim area. Three others were killed in Israeli strikes targeting civilian gatherings in the city center, while two bodies were recovered from the eastern outskirts of Khan Yunis.
In Gaza City, eight people were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment building in the Al-Mashhara area of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. The adjacent Al-Zaytoun district also came under intense aerial and artillery fire overnight.
The attacks come amid what Palestinian officials and international organizations describe as a genocidal war, now in its 21st month, marked by mass killings, starvation, and the destruction of basic infrastructure across the Gaza Strip.
Humanitarian conditions have continued to deteriorate sharply. On Tuesday, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that the number of Palestinians killed at aid distribution centers operated under the U.S.-Israeli mechanism since May 27 has risen to 600, with 4,278 others wounded. These attacks have turned life-saving aid sites into deadly zones.
Meanwhile, the United Nations reported that 1,500 families have been newly displaced in recent days, primarily from northern Gaza and eastern areas under Israeli evacuation orders. According to UNRWA, 82% of the Gaza Strip is now under evacuation orders, and most Palestinians 'have nowhere to go,' as schools, hospitals, and shelters are either destroyed or targeted.
Adnan Abu Hasna, media advisor to UNRWA, described the situation as a 'massive wave of displacement' coinciding with the intensification of Israeli military operations.
'The humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond critical,' said a relief worker in Deir al-Balah. 'Even those lining up for flour or shelter can be killed without warning.'
With no safe zones left and aid corridors repeatedly attacked, Gaza's 2.2 million residents remain trapped in one of the world's most densely populated and devastated war zones, as the violence continues without pause.

More than 100 humanitarian organisations, including Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and Save the Children, have accused Israel of deliberately blocking life-saving aid to the Gaza Strip, leaving millions of dollars' worth of food, medicine, water, and shelter materials stranded in warehouses across Jordan and Egypt.
