BRAVE Combat Federation made a triumphant return to China on April 18 with BRAVE CF 93, held in the dynamic city of Zhengzhou, in association with Chinese partner Youde Fighting Ultimate (YFU). Taking place alongside YFU 83, the fight night brought together elite MMA talent from China, Georgia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Nepal, Tajikistan, Iran, and Bulgaria in a truly international showdown.
Following the success of BRAVE CF 84 in 2024, the promotion doubled down on its commitment to growing the sport in Asia. With events now hosted in 35 countries, BRAVE CF continues to cement its status as the most globally active MMA organization in history.
In the main event, Georgia's Rauli Tutarauli battled Kazakhstan's Olzhas Eskaraev in a crucial lightweight matchup. Eskaraev started strong, using his wrestling to dominate the opening round, but Tutarauli adjusted brilliantly, hurting his opponent in the clinch and standing exchanges, then capitalizing with takedowns of his own. After three competitive rounds, Tutarauli was awarded a unanimous decision victory (29-28) by all the judges, positioning himself for a potential rematch with BRAVE CF lightweight champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek.
The co-main event featured Tajikistan's Khurshed Nazarov, who delivered one of the most emphatic knockouts in BRAVE CF history. He dropped Keremuaili Maimaitituoheti with a perfectly-timed right hook just 17 seconds into the first round, silencing the hometown crowd and adding another highlight to his growing resume.
South Africa's Luthando 'Shorty' Biko overwhelmed China's Jinbo Zou, securing a second-round TKO via elbows from top control. Meanwhile, Rauan Bekbolat stopped Zequiduoji with a devastating liver shot just 1:24 into their contest. One of the most talked-about moments of the night came from Rabindra Dhant, who improved to 8-1 with a brutal ground-andpound stoppage over Eqiyuebu. Other standout performances included Davit Lortqipanidze, Juba Beridza, and Fayang Wan, all scoring dominant unanimous decision wins against their respective opponents.
In total, four fights went the distance, while four ended via finishes, three of which came in Round 1, showcasing the high-caliber intensity BRAVE CF brings to every card.
