The Logies' biggest fashion felonies revealed as we look back at the WORST DRESSED stars on the red carpet ahead of TV's night-of-nights
However, now seems as good a time as ever to reflect on some of the outfits that should've stayed as far away from the public eye as possible.
Who could forget Margot Robbie 's mullet dress? Or Gamble Breaux 's BDSM-esque leg jewels?
Daily Mail Australia reminisces on some of the event's biggest fashion faux pas over the years in preparation for what's to come on Sunday, August 3.
From necklines that plunged too low and slits that soared too high, to frills, feathers and fishtails that never deserved an RSVP—we look back for a laugh, and a lesson in what NOT to wear.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
Emily Weir: 2024
Emily Weir's 2024 outfit certainly raised eyebrows and mixed reviews as she attended TV's biggest night with a big fashion slip-up.
Exposing her derriere and then some, the Home and Away star raised temperatures and eyebrows as she took to the red carpet in a baby pink dress with sheer panels, rhinestones, tulle - you name it.
Her risqué frock turned out to be riskier than expected—a glittering example of what not to wear at the Logies.
Melissa King: 2024
Melissa King's outfit at the 2024 Logies is proof that her stylist quite obviously hated her with a fiery passion.
For whoever let Melissa descend onto the red carpet with her Spanx on full display clearly was a sadist or was harbouring some ill will.
The Better Homes and Gardens host deserved better than to be dressed in an ill-fitting Amanda Tasevski gown—especially one with a sheer, corseted midriff that left her high-waisted underwear band fully exposed.
Here's hoping Melissa gets her red carpet redemption this year – and keeps the undies under wraps.
Leila McKinnon: 2018
Channel Nine journalist Leila McKinnon stole the spotlight for all the wrong reasons in 2018 when she arrived on the red carpet in a futuristic tinsel-inspired frock.
The glitzy design showed off her cleavage and skimmed over her hourglass curves with what looked like Spotlight-sourced party tinsel.
Leila's makeup matched the drama of her outfit, with a heavy smoky eye and a liberal sweep of blush.
Olympia Valance: 2017
Olympia Valance wore a rose-stamped creation by Con Ilio when she attended the Logies in 2017.
The billowing velvet skirt and oversized print did little to flatter Olympia's frame, while a bizarre head wrap failed to enhance her already overwhelming look.
Olympia's no stranger to bold fashion choices, but this one left fans distinctly unimpressed.
Tracy Grimshaw: 2009
A Current Affair's Tracy Grimshaw made a questionable sartorial choice in 2009 when she stepped on the red carpet in a royal purple number with rhinestone detailing.
The frock's voluminous skirt and garish hue earned her a spot on many fans' worst dressed lists.
And while it may have been on-trend back then, Tracy's throwback haircut and fast fashion-style purse didn't help her case.
Natalie Bassingthwaighte: 2022
The former Neighbours star failed to flatter her spectacular figure in a pink smock-like dress with gold features.
Natalie finished the look with Egyptian-style block bracelets—an accessory choice that left many scratching their heads.
Libby Babet: 2017
The Biggest Loser's Libby Babet graced the Logies red carpet in an outfit that would polarise audiences in 2017.
Sauntering her way down the media wall, Libby turned heads in a glittering silver pencil dress covered in flamenco-inspired fringe detailing.
The trainer topped off her eyebrow-raising ensemble with chunky white heels and a high-drama ponytail.
Margot Robbie: 2009
In 2009, well before her Hollywood career took off, former Neighbours star Margot Robbie stepped out in a dramatic, flamenco- inspired, black and red mullet dress.
Despite being panned by fashion critics, Margot had attended as a nominee for the Most Popular New Female Talent award.
While it wasn't her finest fashion moment, we'll forgive Margot— her five-star Barbie looks in 2023 more than made up for it.
Christian Wilkins: 2018
He's the son of veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and is known to push the boundaries with fashion.
However, Christian suffered a fashion faux pas when he descended on the 2018 red carpet in a very casual look.
He chose a red plaid frock layered over ill-fitting black trousers and finished the look with biker-style boots—an ensemble that felt more streetwear than Logies-ready.
Gamble Breaux: 2016
The Real Housewives of Melbourne star stepped out in an OTT get-up that left little to the imagination at the 2016 Logies.
Gamble turned heads as she chose to accessorise with unusual leg jewels that overpowered her otherwise simple beige dress.
The frock's thigh-high split showed off her toned legs, while glitter-soaked heels added even more drama to the already eccentric ensemble.
Bonnie Sveen: 2017
Best known for playing Ricky Sharpe on Home and Away, Bonnie looked worlds away from her bikini babe character when she attended the Logies in 2017.
Clad in an unusual two-piece ensemble with grey brocade, the soap star looked decidedly uncomfortable as she posed on the red carpet.
Bonnie paired the look with black strappy heels, though they did little to complement her petite frame.
Georgie Parker: 2016
Home and Away star Georgie Parker missed the fashion mark in 2016 when she wore a bronze silk gown that swamped her slender frame.
The actress opted for a floor-length, plunging Constantina & Louise dress with ruched detailing around her stomach.
The look was further amplified by House of Emmanuele body jewellery and cuffs that trailed fabric from the gown—adding drama to an already extravagant ensemble.
Courtney Act: 2004
The red carpet at the 2004 Logies saw some colourful characters.
Drag queen Courtney Act turned heads in a one-of-a-kind dress made entirely from photos of veteran entertainer Bert Newton—an unforgettable tribute that had everyone talking.
Rebecca Judd: 2017
Footy WAG Rebecca Judd's J'Aton Couture frock was a fashion risk and featured an elaborate ruffled front and clashing pink and red lace.
Her soft curls and flawless makeup couldn't be faulted, but the sheer, long-sleeved design sparked plenty of debate online.
Cheryl Maitland: 2018
The former Married At First Sight star made her presence felt for all the wrong reasons.
Cheryl wore a burgundy strapless frock with bizarre see-through mesh under the bust.
The excessive draping from the waist also overwhelmed Cheryl's petite frame.
Lee Lin Chin: 2015
She's the SBS newsreader who is known for her unique fashion sense.
And Lee Lin Chin never shies away from making a style statement: case in point, the 2015 Logie Awards.
That year, she wore a white T-shirt-style frock paired with lace leggings and sleeves, topped off with a dramatic black hat wrapped in tulle around her face and neck.
Newsreader Lee Lin Chin attended the 2015 red carpet in a white T-shirt frock with lace leggings and sleeves, and a statement black hat
Ash Williams: 2011
Ash Williams took men's fashion to wild new heights at the 2011 Logies.
He arrived in tight metallic trousers, a silver jacket, and gold body paint smeared across his bare chest.
Caitlin Stasey: 2015
She's the controversial actress known for her strong opinions on sexuality and feminism, among other topics.
Caitlin Stasey made a bold statement at the 2015 Logies, wearing a silver bull nose ring in her septum and an ill-fitting jumpsuit that divided opinion.
Susie Elelman: 2014
Susie Elelman is known for being a fashion risk-taker who regularly flaunts her ample assets on the red carpet.
In 2014, she put on an extremely eye-popping display as she showcased her impressive cleavage in a plunging dress.
Interestingly, it was the very same dress she wore to the Logies nearly two decades earlier, in 1995.

‘Woe is you' – Luke Littler savaged by announcer for interview after winning Australian Darts Masters
DARTS sensation Luke Littler was on the receiving end of a cheeky dig from the announcer following his Australian Darts Masters victory. The 18-year-old added to his trophy cabinet on Saturday with victory over Mike De Decker. 3 He beat the Dutch thrower 8-4 to secure his fourth World Series title. But not all was well in the world of Littler based on his post-match interview. When asked what his plans were between his win and the New Zealand event next weekend, he said he would sleep. "We don't have it easy us darts players," he joked. The announcer snapped back with his own tongue in cheek response, quipping "woe is you" at the teenager. Sleep, or lack thereof, has been a recurring theme for the English thrower during his tournaments Down Under. In an interview earlier in the tournament, he relayed his troubles with remaining fully awake at the oche. Littler said: "People don't see behind the scenes but body clock, [I've] not been sleeping too much over here, but I am just getting used to it now." 3 His plan to remain prepared for the rest of the tournament was short but sweet, and clearly ended up working for him. He added: "Get some good sleep tonight and try to stay awake as much as possible." Luke Littler responds to calls for him to retire after Australian Darts Masters Littler's meteoric rise in the world of darts has seen him build up quite the trophy cabinet, and bank account, since his debut two years ago. His victory in Australia means he bags the £30,000 top prize. But that is just a drop in the ocean of his career earnings, with his net worth reportedly exceeding £1.5million, including over £1m in winnings from 2024 alone.

Today co-host Sarah Abo has a hilarious run-in with a bull in Mount Isa: 'My first rodeo'
Sarah Abo got more than she bargained for this week when she headed to Queensland. The Today co-host, 39, headed north with the Channel Nine breakfast show, which was broadcasting from the Mount Isa Rodeo on Friday. Taking to Instagram to document her rural adventure, it seems that Sarah was certainly keen to get into the spirit of things. Sarah shared a series of photos that showed her enjoying the rodeo ambiance with her Today co-stars. At one point during her trip, Sarah decided that she would try her luck on a mechanical bull. She looked very much the part, sitting on the motor-powered beast in a black Akubra hat, matching jeans and a dark brown T-shirt. Things appeared to get off to a flying start, with Sarah smiling as she proudly straddled the bull, as co-host Karl Stefanovic watched eagerly in the wings. In a second photo, Sarah looked to be having some trouble wrangling her bull as she started to slip from its back as Karl smiled with his hand in the air. It all proved too much for Sarah, with the bull eventually throwing her from its back, her Akubra nowhere to be seen. The hilarious scene was enough to pique the interest of Karl's cute-as-a-button daughter Harper, 5, and Today co-star Richard Wilkins, who both joined Karl in watching Sarah's performance. Sarah took it all in her stride, though, laughing as she lay back on the inflatable safety floor. 'My first rodeo. What a time!!' she captioned the photos. 'Thanks so much for letting us get our country on, Mount Isa. Legends. (Spot the city slickers haha).' Karl also took to Instagram to document the trip, sharing a series of family happy snaps with Harper and wife Jasmine, 41. In a second photo, Sarah looked to be having some trouble wrangling her bull as she started to slip from its back as Karl smiled with his hand in the air. Looking like he just stepped off the set of Yellowstone, Karl wore a bone-coloured Akubra hat in a series of cute photos he shared to Instagram. He also wore a sleeveless Driza-Bone jacket over a red and white collared check shirt. The popular presenter finished his 'rural' look with a pair of light-coloured jeans and brown boots. He looked proud as punch in one photo, which showed him beaming as he stood next to daughter Harper. Harper looked cute-as-a-button in a pale pink Akubra hat that matched her dad's perfectly. Keeping the colour theme going, Harper also wore a pink top and matching tutu, finishing the ensemble with a pair of ornate pink and brown leather cowboy boots. A second photo showed Karl and Harper cuddling up close to mum Jasmine, who also looked the part. She wore a black and white chequered shirt and a pair of form-fitting black jeans. While she preferred to go without an Akubra covering her flaxen locks, Jasmine finished her look with a pair of black and white leather cowboy boots and a pair of gold-framed sunglasses. The family looked chuffed to be enjoying some family time, with Harper particularly beaming as she cuddled up close to her dad. A third photo showed Sarah taking Harper out for a spot of retail therapy.

Viewers slam The Block for a very surprising reason
It's the renovation reality show that continues to prove a ratings hit for Nine. But it seems there is one particular aspect of The Block that has started to wear thin on fans. Surprisingly, it is the show's intro that fans are taking issue with – each episode reintroduces five teams to viewers. Blockheads have taken to social media to vent their frustration over the repetition, with some claiming they're tuning in late to avoid the intro. 'So, we are the 2nd week in, I think we are past the point of every night having the introductions of the start series come on, I think we know who is who by now, just saying,' one fan wrote. Another agreed, adding: 'I record the show, watch it later and fast forward all the s***. 'Not a fan this season but I like to see the outcome of rooms,' while another replied with: 'Absolutely agree, and I have started watching five mins in to avoid the intro.' It didn't end there, either, with another viewer slamming the 'monotony' of the show's intro. 'Yes, it is very monotonous. How many times do we need to see the boys at the resort in their towels?' they asked. Another disgruntled fan claimed producers were using the tactic to 'pad out' the show's runtime. '100 per cent agree, it's getting old and I think they are doing it to chew up air time,' they wrote. Despite the criticisms, The Block has, again, proved a ratings juggernaut for Nine. For example, each episode of the show this week, aside from Wednesday (1.926 million), has exceeded a national total TV reach of 2 million. There was barely a dry eye in the house on Monday's episode as Dan Reilly opened up about his heartbreaking family tragedy. The series' foreman kicked off the episode's pre-start meeting with wife Dani, who broke down as they spoke for the first time on television about the loss of their daughter, Billie. The reality TV couple tragically lost their daughter in December last year at just ten days old. 'I guess most people here would know our journey last year. We had our little girl, Billie – she arrived on the eighth of the twelfth last year,' Dan told the assembled cast and crew. 'Due to some... complications through birth, we only got to spend ten days with our beautiful girl, Billie.' As the mood became more sombre, Dani continued: 'So, we're actually very grateful for those ten days – her time was spent in the NICU department at the Women's Hospital in Melbourne.' Dan was quick to praise the NICU staff, with Dani echoing his sentiments. 'Unfortunately, it didn't end in the way that it should have for us, but our time there, as Dan said, was really with Billie,' she said. 'Getting to know the nurses and doctors will be probably one of the things that we remember forever.' Dan then added that he and Dani were on a 'mission' to raise funds and awareness for NICUs around the country as well as Red Nose Australia. To honour their daughter's memory, Dan and Dani have established Billie's Besties, a foundation that aims to raise money for the NICU at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. The couple struggled to hold back tears as they recounted the harrowing story, and tenderly embraced as the teams also became visibly emotional.
