
Prostarm Info bags 150 MW/300 MWh battery storage order from KPTCL
The project, awarded under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mode, will be executed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis for 12 years. Prostarm Info Systems will receive a rental of Rs. 2.54 lakh per MW per month, amounting to an annual rental of Rs. 45.72 crore for the entire 150 MW/300 MWh system. Additionally, the project includes Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of Rs. 27 lakh per MWh or 30% of the capital cost for the BESS, whichever is lower.
This order marks a significant milestone for Prostarm Info Systems, reinforcing its position in India's renewable energy and energy storage sector. The project is entirely domestic, and there are no related party concerns or promoter interests involved in the award.
With this strategic contract, Prostarm Info Systems is poised to contribute significantly to Karnataka's energy infrastructure while advancing sustainable energy solutions.
