Hulk Hogan's final conversation with estranged daughter
The wrestling legend was pronounced dead after Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel were dispatched to his Clearwater, Florida, home late Thursday morning in response to a call about a 'cardiac arrest.' He was 71.
'He was very proud of her, she was his little girl,' a rep for Brooke told Page Six. 'We still can't believe he is gone.'
Brooke and Hulk have been estranged since September 2023 when the 37-year-old skipped out on her father's wedding to Sky Daily.
In light of Hulk's tragic death, their final emotional conversation has now been revealed.
Their last conversation, which allegedly took place two weeks before her father tied the knot with Daily, involved Brooke telling her father she loved him, reports TMZ.
Brooke allegedly told her father how deep love and concern for his wellbeing went, and shared she wanted him to slow down his career due to his health problems.
While Hulk didn't listen to his daughter's advice, he did extend a vague apology to his daughter.
Brooke had been estranged from her dad due to a series of issues they'd been experiencing and Hulk's alleged treatment of her.
On several occasions, Brooke's husband Steven Oleksy allegedly tried to mend their relationship. But, his efforts were fruitless as sources said Hulk was mainly interested in a relationship with his daughter on his terms.
Sources close to Brooke claim she's told those around her that she's 'grateful' that she said 'I love you' to her father in their final conversation and is 'at peace' with their relationship knowing she did all she could to fix their situation.
Insiders went on to tell the outlet that Brooke learned of the WWE star's death from her brother, Nick, who texted her husband to inform him of the news.
'Unfortunately, we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, passed away this morning,' his reps said in a statement, confirming his death.
'We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend.'
His passing came soon after Daily shut down negative rumours about his health earlier this month after Hulk had underwent an 'intense surgery' in May.
'His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumours are true,' she said at the time, responding to rumours that he was in a coma.
'He's been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process,' she continued. An ACDF is a procedure that removes a damaged intervertebral disc from the spine in the neck.
'If you look it up, you'll see what the last six weeks have involved … not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery.'
After his procedure, he had been 'in an out of the hospital to support that recovery.'
Hulk is survived by Daily, his first wife, Linda Hogan, and the children they shared: Brooke and Nick.
In March, Linda claimed in an emotional Instagram story that Brooke cut ties with her eight years ago. She explained the estrangement was caused by her ex-husband Hulk.
But Brooke hit back at her mother's comments, as she revealed more behind the longstanding family feud.
She said in a series of screen grabs, 'I try very hard to ignore issues surrounding my family, in hopes I might have peace in my life. Sadly, I've intentionally made myself smaller in my professional career in music and TV; simply to dodge the public negativity surrounding my family that has continuously and relentlessly overshadowed anything I do.
'There was a recent video posted by my Mother that was concerning enough for people to send to me, that has made me feel the need to address the tip of a very large iceberg that is my immediate family. What little I am addressing does not even scratch the surface of what I've dealt with my entire life.
'I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents. No contact with my Mom has nothing to do with my Dad, and no contact with my Father has nothing to do with my Mother.
She went on to explain that experiences in her childhood 'robbed' her of 'self esteem' and 'confidence.'
'It took me many years to figure out the things that were seemingly done 'for me' really benefited someone else in a greater capacity.'
She claimed to have received texts from family members with 'unbelievably hurtful words' that 'cannot be forgiven.'
Brooke alleged she had been asked to defend poor behaviour in public, only to find out she was 'misinformed' and 'lied to.'
'I've watched others benefit financially off my suffering and embarrassment caused by their selfish behaviour,' she claimed.

Billy Joel is 'shy' and 'deeply introverted'
Billy Joel is actually very "shy" and "deeply introverted", according to his daughter Alexa Ray Joel. The singer/songwriter has opened up about her famous father and insisted he's very different to his outgoing stage persona and "never buys [into] his own hype". Alexa told New York Post column PageSix: "You know my father is really funny because he's he's like the most self-effacing person on the planet right? "He never buys [into] his own hype. "I'm like: 'You should be so proud of yourself!' He's like: 'Eh.' He's just not a typical, like narcissistic guy in the spotlight - he just does not buy into any of it -he's a true artist. He so deeply introverted, he's really actually a shy person." Alexa went on to insist Billy is now "bored" of the hype around his new HBO documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes, which details his rise to fame and the highs and lows of his music career. She added: "He's like, well you know I'm kind of bored by it because it's a lot about me and I get sick of me ... "He's so introspective, you know, so I think it'll hit him later. I think maybe in a few months from now [he'll] watch it and be like: 'Oh that's cool'." The two-part documentary has won a slew of positive reviews since its release last month, and co-director Susan Lacy recently revealed she managed to get the famously private star to open up by explaining it wasn't a "drive-by portrait" project. She told The Hollywood Reporter: "He actually said to me: 'It's not my film, it's yours. The only thing I ask is tell the truth. Just tell the truth.' "And he came to the table with that, and I did about 10 very long interviews with him, and he delivered. "I don't know that he was actually really ready at the beginning to tell his story, but he came to realize that we were making a very deep film, a very serious film, the one that was really going to explore his music and how it connected with his life ... "It wasn't a fly-by-night, drive-by portrait, as many people do. He recognised that this was serious ... "

Travis and Jason Kelce's dad Ed's girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, dead at 74
Ed Kelce's girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, has died. She was 74. According to an obituary the father of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce shared on his Facebook page Saturday, Maguire 'passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.' 'Maureen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved the beach—especially the shore—and had a deep affection for dogs,' the obituary read. Maguire also 'grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch.' 'Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest,' the obit added. 'She had a rare gift for making friends with strangers and making everyone around her feel special, seen, and welcomed. Her presence had a way of turning ordinary moments into something memorable. Her kindness, wit, and gentle strength left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.' Maguire is survived by her three children, six grandchildren and her sister and brother. Her cause of death was not disclosed. Maguire's private burial will take place at St. John Vianney Church in Gladwyne, Penn., on Aug. 7. Page Six has reached out to reps for both Jason and Travis for comment but did not immediately hear back. By clicking above you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Though not much is known about Ed's relationship with Maguire, in February 2024, the dad of two shared a funny interaction she had with Travis' girlfriend, Taylor Swift. While the 'Bad Blood' singer, 35, was posing for a picture with Ed, Maguire joked, 'Hey, that's my boyfriend,' to which Swift laughed. Ed, also 74, and his ex-wife, Donna Kelce, tied the knot in the late '70s. They welcomed sons Jason, 37, and Travis, also 35, in 1987 and 1989, respectively. They were married for nearly 25 years before deciding to end things after both of their sons graduated from college. Last October, Donna, 72, said she and Ed maintained a 'friendly relationship' until their split for the sake of their boys. 'We could do that and make sure that their life was normal as possible,' the retired banker explained in Glamour's 2024 Women of the Year: The Moms issue. 'But in that one respect, I did stand still for several years until I could move on on my own.' Originally published as Travis and Jason Kelce's dad Ed's girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, dead at 74

Nick Hogan emotional at Hulk Hogan Summerslam tribute
Nick Hogan was emotional during WWE's latest tribute to his late dad Hulk Hogan. The 35-year-old star and his wife Tana Lea were in the crowd for the organisation's flagship SummerSlam event in New Jersey on Saturday (02.08.25), and the camera panned to the couple at the conclusion of a video package looking back on the career and legacy of his late dad, who died aged 71 on 24 July. As Hulk's classic Real American song played at the end of the tribute, Nick appeared near tears. WWE announcer Michael Cole hailed Hulk as the "greatest performer" the wrestling company had ever seen. He told viewers: 'Hulk Hogan was larger than life, sports entertainment personified [and] the greatest performer in our history." He pointed out Hulk was "undefeated" at SummerSlam throughout his career and had been part of 'so many great moments, too many to talk about." He added: '[This was] a man who carried professional wrestling on his back for three decades. Rest in peace, brother.' Michael then noted Nick and Tana had attended SummerSlam to "celebrate the life and legacy" of the iconic sportsman. A few days earlier, Nick broke down in tears as he gathered with a number of wrestling superstars for a 10-bell salute in honour of his dad during Raw. As CM Punk, Gunther, Jey Uso, Iyo Sky and Dominik Mysterio gathered sombrely for the memorial, Nick could be seen wiping away tears as WWE's chief content officer, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, also paid tribute to Hogan during the segment. He told the audience: "He [Hogan] captivated millions of people and inspired them around the globe. "We would not be standing here right now – all of us together – if it was not for him." The day after Hulk died, WWE's episode of SmackDown also featured a 10-bell salute to the former world champion, as well as a video highlights package of the wrestler's lengthy career in the ring. Last weekend, Nick, 35, paid a heartfelt tribute to his dad and remembered him as his "hero". He wrote on Instagram: "My dad was the most incredible person I've ever known and will always be my hero. He was the most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for. I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world. He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend. He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain. "I thanked him for everything he has ever done for me and told him how much I loved him and hugged him every chance I got. I spent a lot of time with him the past few years after moving back to Florida to be closer to him and I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life."
