Portronics Mopcop 4 car vacuum cleaner: Design and build
The Portronics Mopcop 4 car vacuum cleaner comes with a sleek and compact appearance. It comes wearing a black and silver colour finish. Despite being built of plastic, it seems sturdy thanks to the tough build quality. The manufacturer claims the filter is washable and reusable, which is visible through the transparent front panel. It gets a one-press dust reliever button as well. It gets a wide range of multi-purpose nozzles provided with the device that allow the user to clean the car's interior nooks and corners.
The Portronics Mopcop 4 has a single push button to operate the device. Using this same button, one can turn on or off the device and toggle between the normal (Eco) and high (Max) vacuuming speeds. It has an LED light, which could be handy in dark conditions. There is an LED digital display showing the mode of vacuuming.
The vacuum cleaner comes with a long power cable, which measures nearly four and a half meters in length. It can be used to plug into the in-car DC 12V socket and power the device. Unlike many other car vacuum cleaners, the Mopcop 4 comes with an inbuilt battery, which allows the device to run without being plugged into the charging socket as well. The manufacturer provides a Type A to Type C cable as well, which can be used to power the battery pack of the device for cordless use later.

This Mopcop 4 is primarily a car vacuum cleaner that worked pretty well during our review. It was easy to reach the nooks and corners of the interior of the car using the different multi-purpose nozzles. During our review, we didn't try to clean any wet dirt, but while trying to clean the dry dirt from seats, floor mats, and dashboard, the result was satisfactory. While the vacuum cleaner works well when it is plugged into the 12V DC socket, we also tried to test the device's battery for about 20 minutes at a stretch, blending both the vacuuming modes, and it worked well.

The Portronics Mopcop 4 car vacuum cleaner comes as a useful device, promising the functionality of keeping the interior clean for day-to-day use. At a sticker price of about ₹3,000, this device is a handy one to keep in the car, but remember that at a similar or cheaper cost, there are some car vacuum cleaners in the market that offer the functionality of tyre inflator as well.

'Malaysia must also bind itself to a contract of between three to five years with Liberty Media (which holds F1's commercial rights), amounting to a commitment of about 1.5 billion ringgit during this period,' she told parliament on Thursday. 'The current race calendar is very tight and if Malaysia is interested in hosting again, we will have to compete with other countries for a place on the calendar,' she added. In the region, Singapore stages a night race and Thailand hopes to become the latest host. The Thai cabinet in June approved a $1.2 billion bid to stage F1 on the streets of Bangkok from 2028. Yeoh said Malaysia is not shutting the door completely on having F1 races again, if any corporate entities were willing to shoulder the costs. 'We are open to this and can cooperate,' she added. 'The Formula 1 is a very prestigious sporting event that is followed by many fans around the world. 'So if we could afford it, it's a good-to-have event in Malaysia.'

Amid the clutter and confusion around the E20 fuel and its impact on vehicles, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has said that hydrogen is the fuel of the future. He said that hydrogen will replace fossil fuels. The minister also said that hydrogen, biofuels and electric vehicles would be the future of transport and industry. PTI has quoted Gadkari saying that hydrogen would not only be critical for transport but also find applications in other industries. "Trains will run on it, airplanes will fly on it, and dependence on fossil fuels will end," he reportedly said. Highlighting India's rise in the global automobile market, the minister said the country recently moved up from the seventh to the third position, overtaking Japan. "The American automobile industry is worth ₹78 lakh crore, China's ₹49 lakh crore and India's ₹22 lakh crore. A few days ago, the global chairman of Mercedes told me they will manufacture electric Mercedes cars in India," he added. He said the future of transport and industry would be built on electric vehicles, biofuels and hydrogen. "If these are adopted on a wide scale, we will steadily move toward carbon neutrality. This will create jobs, protect the environment and accelerate development," Gadkari said. Speaking about the hydrogen fuel, the minister said that India can match oil-producing nations with cheap hydrogen. He said that India can transform from being an energy importer to a global exporter if it can cut the cost of hydrogen production to one dollar per kilogramme. Hydrogen costs about $5-6 per kg, making it expensive compared to conventional fuels. "If we succeed in bringing it down to USD 1 per kg, India will be in a position similar to today's oil-producing countries," Gadkari said while stressing that hydrogen would play a decisive role in shaping the energy future. The minister also said the biggest hurdle lies in setting up hydrogen filling stations and developing systems to transport the fuel. "These areas need urgent and extensive work," he said.
