Nearly five decades after Jaws first terrorized our screens (and the beaches of Cape Cod), Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster hit is back in the spotlight. To celebrate the iconic film's 50th anniversary (which falls on June 20th), lifestyle brand Nautica has launched a limited-edition clothing collection in collaboration with the movie franchise that you can now buy online.
shop jaws x nautica drop
The drop includes graphic tees, short-sleeve camp shirts, and Nautica's signature quick-dry swim trunks — all splashed with bold colors (think electric blues and purples), subtle shark graphics, and that effortless, breathable fit the brand is known for. Prices start at just $29.50 and cap at $69.50 for the bathing suit bottoms.

In 2018, Rolling Stone ranked Jaws as number two, in a list of, Steven Spielberg's Movies, Ranked Worst to Best, stating, 'In Spielberg's hands, the shark becomes not just a great movie monster, but also an existential fact – consuming its victims with little care for who they are. That unhinged, anything-goes quality, enhanced by an almost mathematical deployment of scares, still keeps us riveted and shocked, even after multiple viewings. It's a magic trick like very few others in film history.'

So, whether you're wearing this Jaws-themed gear at the beach, by the pool (safer than open waters, we get it), or while rewatching the film for the hundredth time, this collection is your go-to summer uniform; stylish, breathable, and made for cinephiles.
Craving more from Nautica? The brand's been on a collaboration streak lately. They recently launched a Beach Boys capsule — a sun-soaked tribute to the legendary American rock band with tees starting at just $14.99. The line blends coastal cool with a mix of nostalgia, and you can grab it here.
Sizes for the Jaws drop range from XS to 3XL, but they're swimming off shelves fast, especially with Discovery Channels, Shark Week lurking just around the corner. Snag your favorites now, before this collection disappears beneath the surface.

Tom Brady Makes His Opinion of Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese Extremely Clear

Tom Brady Makes His Opinion of Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese Extremely Clear originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NFL history, having won three MVP awards and a record seven Super Bowls. Advertisement Brady won six Super Bowls during his time with Bill Belichick and the Patriots, creating arguably the greatest dynasty the NFL has ever seen. After his New England tenure, Brady made his way to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning his final ring. But Brady has his eyes on other sports as well, including a young WNBA rivalry between Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clar and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese. On Wednesday, Brady joined Bleacher Report for a phone interview while riding in the front seat of his car. Naturally, he was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of GOATs (greatest of all time). Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel ReeseTrevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images Although he didn't fully grasp the question, naming 11 players instead of four, Brady didn't hesitate to include Clark and Reese. Advertisement 'Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, this little thing they got going, I love that," Brady said. Among the nine other GOATs Brady listed are Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan (NBA), Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani (MLB), professional golfer Tiger Woods and Olympic medalist Michael Phelps. Clark and Reese have had quite the history since 2023, building one of the biggest rivalries in women's basketball. And it started in the 2023 National Championship, when Reese's LSU Tigers defeated Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes. Clark got her revenge in the Elite Eight the following year. The two have faced off five times early in their WNBA careers, with Clark holding a 4-1 edge. In their first meeting of 2025, the Fever won 93-58 in a game that featured an altercation between Clark and Reese, resulting in a flagrant foul and two technicals. Advertisement The Fever and Sky will meet for the second time this season on Saturday. However, Clark will remain sidelined after suffering a quad strain over a week ago. Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others.' Bieber has long been outspoken about his faith, and a recent article claimed that the singer keeps his pastor among the friends in his 'inner orbit.' Now, fans are also hoping to send some holy vibes his way, with a number of Bieber prayer candles popping up online. Great for Beliebers and believers alike, the fan-made merch is inspired by traditional votive candles often found in churches and cathedrals. Martha's Vineyard boat captain was part of 'Jaws' filming. We interviewed him in 2000.

EDITOR NOTE: This story was written for the Cape Cod Times in 2000 on the 25th anniversary of the premiere of the movie "Jaws." Richard Dreyfuss, Roy Scheider and Robert Shaw were on the top of the marquee, but there would be no "Jaws" movie without "Bruce." That was the nickname given to the three mechanical versions of the 25-foot shark built to terrorize Amity Island. Plagued by mechanical problems, Bruce did not appear on the set until several months after the shooting began, finding a comfortable spot in the sandy bottom of Katama Bay. Charter boat captain Charlie Blair had been transporting the cast and crew to various open water locations and recalls being skeptical that a realistic great white shark could be created. "But Spielberg was smart. He hired the best people in the business," said Blair. "He got special effects guru Bob Mattie out of retirement to build the shark." When Mattie arrived halfway through the summer of 1974, a doubting Blair asked him how he would do it. "Don't you worry," Mattie told Blair. "I made Mary Poppins fly and built the Nautilus in "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." The shark arrived in three parts, a full-figure beast for underwater scenes, and a left view and right view that left one side open, all the pumps and hydraulic hoses in view. Eleven scuba divers were hired to operate the props. Blair was impressed. "It could roll its eyes, open and close its mouth, and wag its tail. It was terrific," Blair said. Mattie and his crew debuted the shark in Katama Bay, filming the attack that sinks Quint's fishing boat, the Orca. "They had actors and camera men running for cover. They destroyed the set just to show how powerful it was," said Blair. Bruce now has a home with other retired movie props in the display called The Back Lot at the Universal Studios Theme Park in Orlando, Florida.
