Love Island's Megan takes swipe at Shakira and Harry as she shares verdict on co-stars

Megan Forte Clarke, who was dumped from the villa by the public alongside Conor Phillips this week, has shared her thoughts on the remaining couples on Love Island
Former Love Island star Megan Forte Clarke has shared her thoughts on the couples still in the villa following her departure. She was dumped in a public vote alongside Conor Phillips this week, just days ahead of the live final.

Megan, 24, had originally been voted out of the villa earlier in the series but she recently returned. She then rekindled a romance with co-star Conor, 25, but they received the least votes in the latest poll and their exits aired last night.

After leaving the villa for a second time, Megan gave her opinion on the remaining couples, including teasing that she didn't expect one of them to still be together. It comes after Top Gear host admitted he 'never got along' with Jeremy Clarkson as he made a bold statement.

Speaking to ITV, Megan said that it was a "shock" to see Harry Cooksley, 30, and Shakira Khan, 22, together. They are now coupled up once again after having been in a long-running love triangle with now-dumped Helena Ford, 29.
Last week, shortly after Megan returned to the villa, Helena ended things with Harry, bringing the love triangle to a close too. In the same episode, he told Shakira that he was either leaving with her or without her, and he went on to choose her in the last recoupling.

Asked if any couples had changed in the time between her first exit and her return, Megan said: "I don't think any couple has changed. I think Harry and Shakira being together was a shock for me but everyone is really genuine."
Further sharing her opinion, Megan teased that she thinks the couples in the villa have potential for a long-term relationship. She said: "I definitely think all the other couples have long term potential, it all just makes sense."
Megan however revealed that there's one couple in particular that she hopes wins Love Island. She named Yasmin Pettet, 24, and Jamie Rhodes, 26, as her choice as winners ahead of this series' live final taking place next week.

Asked who she's rooting for on the show, Megan said following her departure this week: "I'm really rooting for Yasmin and Jamie this time round." Further discussing the couple, she added: "They balance each other out perfectly."
Megan also revealed that she was feeling "much better" about leaving the villa with Conor compared to her first exit. She said: "I left on really good terms." She continued by saying: "It was a nice way to leave and I'm very happy."

She added: "I took a big risk coming back because I could have easily been pied but I have gone out with what I came in for - everything happens for a reason." The islander also said that it was a "completely different experience".
Megan said: "[It was] a lot more relaxing and a lot more lovey dovey. It was I think a completely different experience the second time round and it was a different villa to the first time when everyone was wife swapping."
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Their mum and dad, Katie Price and Peter Andre, famously met in the jungle and went on to have their two children and marry in a TV love-story before going through a bitter divorce in 2009. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Junior told us of the pair's jungle dreams: "I think what would be great for us to do is the jungle. "That is where our parents met!" Princess confessed that it would be "iconic" to be the first siblings to take part together as they remained adamant they wouldn't do the show separately. Junior said: "We wouldn't do it alone, we would have to do it together. "100%, side-by-side." But they were quick to admit they would both be extremely fearful should they have to take part in the jungle's notorious Bushtucker Trials. Princess said: "I'm really not thinking about the spiders and all of that - I can't think about it!" Junior then added: "Thinking about it stresses me out but we would be doing it together and we can do the challenges together. Elsewhere, the siblings admitted they don't care about being branded nepo-babies as a result of the fame and fortune of their mum and dad. When asked if the term being used to describe them bothers them, Junior told us: "We can't really help that [being nepo-babies], can we." Princess then said: "But we have got our own things going on now and that's what the point of my show is. "It's not about my parents, it's about me and my life. "And Junior has his music so it is just individual stuff now and we are just doing us. "Obviously, our parents have helped and given us an amazing opportunity but it is what it is." Junior echoed his sister's thoughts, saying: "They are our own careers, our parents can't work for us." The Princess Diaries begins this Sunday on ITV2 at 9pm.
