Once Karisma was asked about being arrogant with a no-nonsense attitude. She was asked that other actresses felt so. Reacting to it, she had said in an interview with Stardust, "I'm so tired of this. Why can't these girls keep their mouths shut once and for all? I don't understand what's wrong with them. In every interview they give, they have to mention my name in some context or the other. Especially Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Koirala. I really don't know why. Yes. I'm proud of being a Kapoor and will always be.'
She further went personal, took a dig at them and said, "And how should that affect others? I can't help these poor souls if they don't have a surname like Kapoor to boast about. And because I'm a Kapoor, I'm frank and outspoken. I'm not a hypocrite. I don't go around with different guys every day and then claim to be a virgin. Also, these girls gunning for me is their problem, not mine. They don't know what they're asking for.'
Karisma has never shared screen space with Pooja. Meanwhile, she and Manisha were a part of a film titled 'Dhanwaan'.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview: Written and directed by Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, the preview of The Ba***ds of Bollywood dropped on Wednesday. The preview introduces the character of Aasman Singh, played by Lakshya, who gets his dream launch in Bollywood, and is on his way to becoming a star in the movies. The show is a faint reminder of Zoya Akhtar's film Luck By Chance where an outsider rises up amid competition from the biggest stars of Bollywood. Here, Raghav Juyal plays the quintessential 'best friend of the hero' and unlike their relationship in their big screen debut Kill, this one has them supporting each other. Sahher Bambba is introduced as the 'nepokid' and it is suggested that Bobby Deol is playing her father in the series. Karan Johar appears in the teaser in a cameo and it seems like he is taking a dig at the filmy Bollywood producers who swear at the drop of the hat. His sweatshirt reads, 'I did nothing. I just got lucky'. As expected, the show appears to be made on a massive budget with cars flying across VFX screens, and it appears that no expense was spared in enhancing the production value of the project. In a rather fun surprise for the fans, a glowering Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh repeating his 'bohot hard' line appear in cameos in this preview. Aasman is also seen behind the bars with a cop telling him not to worry because cinema people actually become more famous after they spend time in the prison. Many took this as a self-deprecating dig by Aryan who was wrongfully imprisoned in 2022. The show will start streaming on September 18. The Ba***ds of Bollywood released its first glimpse earlier this week with a video featuring writer and director Aryan Khan, and some of the actors of the show. The show stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba, along with Bobby Deol,Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Gautami Kapoor. So far, the show has presented itself as an Entourage-like take on the Hindi film industry though it is yet to be known if it will be on the lines of the hit HBO series. The first look of the show had Shah Rukh Khan voicing some of his most popular film dialogues. As Aryan carries over that voice over, he declares that this show will be a mix of 'bahut saara pyaar (lots of love)' and 'thoda sa vaar (a little bit of a roast)' about Bollywood. The official synopsis of the series reads, 'An ambitious outsider and his friends navigate the larger-than-life yet uncertain world of Bollywood. The series blends self-aware humour with a high-stakes narrative — and promises a host of unforgettable cameos, blockbuster thrills and an adventurous ride into the world of Indian cinema.' In an earlier chat with Raj Shamani, Karan Johar praised Aryan's directorial talent and said, 'I don't know if I'm even supposed to say this, but I have huge belief in Aryan Khan's directorial talent. I don't want to say anything about his Netflix show, because he'll get very angry, but all I'll say is this: watch out. If there is a King, there will be a Prince. I can say this with confidence, because I've seen the show. He has an individualistic voice as a director. He's not anything like you'd expect Shah Rukh Khan's son to be. He's his own person. He works quietly, he doesn't carry the baggage of his father, he doesn't carry the weight of his legacy. He works hard; he works 20 hours a day. He is a rare personality type.' He added, 'Whether it was board games or sports or this massive series, he has to win. He likes to win. He takes losses personally, and he gets even more motivated by success.' In an earlier chat with Hindi Rush, Manoj Pahwa echoed the same thing and shared, 'Aryan doesn't have any starry airs. He is a young and hardworking boy. Previously, SRK's daughter Suhana Khan made her debut as an actor in Zoya Akhtar's 2023 film The Archies. Suhana is set to star with her father in his next film, King, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand.

Now, after weeks of speculation, the comedy-drama has inked a digital and satellite deal worth Rs 5.5 crore + GST, ensuring its next big splash will be on the small screen. The movie, directed by debutant J. P. Thuminad, has been the talk of the town ever since it opened in theatres on July 25. Thuminad not only made his directorial debut but also took the lead role, with acclaimed filmmaker-actor Raj B. Shetty backing the project as both producer and performer. Their gamble paid off big time, as the film has now become the highest-grossing Kannada film of the year so far. In an interesting twist, the digital rights went through a shuffle. The wait is finally over! Well, almost. Today, in a star-studded media event, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan will finally unveil the much-anticipated preview of the latter's Netflix show. Titled The Ba***ds of Bollywood, this web series will mark Aryan's directorial debut. At the special event, which is currently underway in Mumbai, Aryan revealed that he has been working on the project for 4 years now. But before the star kid graced the stage, his superstar father SRK kickstarted the event in style. Shah Rukh began by addressing his shoulder injury and surgery. He won hearts with his witty one-liner referring to his National Award win for Jawan: '1-2 mahina lagega mujhe recover karne ke liye, lekin National Award uthaane ke liye mera ek haath hi kaafi hai.'
