Sullivan's Crossing Season 3 Finale Ends With a Jaw-Dropping Arrival — Who Is Liam?

Sullivan's Crossing Season 3 Finale Ends With a Jaw-Dropping Arrival — Who Is Liam?

Yahoo17-07-2025
It's a good thing Sullivan's Crossing has been renewed for Season 4, because our girl Maggie has some serious explaining to do.
The show's third season finale, which aired Wednesday on The CW, ends with another attractive stranger coming to town. What's out of the ordinary about that, you ask? Nothing, except that this particular attractive stranger (played by Marcus Rosner) introduces himself as Liam — Maggie's husband. She had previously referred to Liam as merely a 'summer fling,' which clearly downplayed the depth of their legal, wedded relationship.

There would never be a 'good' time for Maggie's estranged husband to show up, but his arrival at this juncture in her life feels particularly ill-timed. Not only is she finally thriving in her career again, having just performed a successful surgery on Edna's brain tumor, but even her relationship with Cal is back on track. Sadly, life has decided to throw yet another wrench into their happy ending — this time by the name of Liam.
So, what's the deal with this guy? Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until Season 4 to get any concrete answers. Is it 2026 yet?
Other finale developments worth discussing…
* Sully decides to throw caution to the wind — not to mention finally release some of the ghosts of his past — and visit Ireland with Helen. It's an 'extended' trip, but we're fairly confident that a time jump will bring him back to town sooner than later. After all, there's no Sullivan's Crossing without Sully, right? … Right?
* Maggie and Cal aren't the only couple at a crossroads. Marriage has been a hot-button issue for Rafe and Sydney (he wants it, she doesn't), and it looks like it could finally lead to a breakup. He doesn't explicitly end things in the finale, but you can tell that he isn't hopeful about the future of their relationship.
As we begin the long wait for Season 4, let's talk about what happens next: Why do you think Maggie married Liam, and what could this mean for her future with Cal? Exactly how long will Sully be away? And if this is the end of Sydney and Rafe, will you be disappointed? Grade the finale and season below, then drop a comment with your thoughts.

Canadian beauty queen Siera Bearchell says she was bullied for her weight during Miss Universe pageant: 'The world called me fat'

"My dream of standing on the Miss Universe stage was achieved because I had more to offer to the world than a number on a scale," wrote Bearchell in a recent social media post. Siera Bearchell is opening up about the journey to rebuild her confidence during her time as Miss Universe Canada. In an Instagram post on Monday, Bearchell said she faced intense scrutiny and bullying for her weight while representing Canada at the Miss Universe pageant in 2017. On Monday, Bearchell shared a series of images to Instagram from her time as Miss Universe Canada, including a photo of herself in a swimsuit that included the text, 'The world called me fat and this is what I did…' Throughout the carousel, Bearchell said that her excitement was tainted by hurtful comments when she arrived at the Miss Universe competition in Manila. 'I showed up and people started calling me 'fat,' 'Miss Piggy Universe' and 'whale,'' she wrote. 'I was labelled the plus-sized contestant. People even accused me of gaining weight on purpose to 'stand out.'' According to Bearchell, she had 'minimal support' from the national team. 'I could feel they didn't believe in me, and I started to lose confidence in myself,' she added. 'Until I remembered that I got to this point because I wasn't afraid to show up as me. I came this far because I knew that beauty and confidence was beyond size. My dream of standing on the Miss Universe stage was achieved because I had more to offer to the world than a number on a scale.' Bearchell, who ultimately finished in the top nine, said she spent the days before the pageant working to repair her confidence so that she could 'stand tall' and 'proud.' 'I quite literally coached myself into having the confidence to step on that stage … even when the world was making memes of me that were making fun of me for not being as thin as the other contestants,' she continued. The now 32-year-old married mother-of-two said she's been using the 'confidence tips and tricks' to help her 'show up' in her life. 'I have realized people will doubt you and it's up to you to show up anyways,' she said. The post earned praise from followers who applauded Bearchell for weathering the storm of negativity. 'I am so amazed with the way you expressed yourself and how you owned the stage with so much confidence and that's the purpose of Miss Universe,' a follower wrote. 'Beauty competitions or pageantries supersede just having a beautiful body…' 'And you were literally a size 6/8,' wrote former Miss Universe contestant Jill Lavertu. 'I will say, I'm so glad I lost to you because you won with confidence, integrity and grace. Beautiful then, beautiful now.' In 2023, Berachell posted a clip of herself giving a talk to students at Rundle College in Calgary, Alta., discussing the importance of self worth. 'No matter what, people are going to judge me," she said. "As long as I'm happy with who I am and I'm exuding that confidence myself, that's what really matters. "The relationship we have with ourselves, really sets the tone for many things in our lives," she continued. 'Really having that strong sense of inner worth and how we see ourselves. The inner dialogue is way more important than a lot of us believe. How we speak to ourselves — 'cause we would never speak to friends the way we speak to ourselves right?"

Is ‘Good Cop/Bad Cop' returning for season 2? Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on August 3, 2025, 19:00 IST Last updated August 3, 2025, 11:11 IST Good Cop/Bad Cop on The CW hooked fans with its mix of small-town charm, sibling banter, and twisty mysteries. Starring Leighton Meester as Lou Hickman and Luke Cook as her brother Henry, this comedy-drama about sibling detectives in Eden Vale, Washington, left everyone craving more after its Season 1 finale. With buzz building online, here's the latest on whether Season 2 is coming and what it might bring, Has Good Cop/Bad Cop Been Renewed? As of August 2025, The CW hasn't made anything official yet. There's been no greenlight for Season 2, but also — importantly — no cancellation. So while it's a bit of a waiting game, there's definitely still hope. The numbers are actually in the show's favor. Good Cop/Bad Cop scored an 88% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an even more impressive 91% audience score. It was also one of The CW's better-performing shows this past spring, ranking ninth overall with around 305,000 viewers tuning in weekly (as of early April, per USTVDB). Those are solid stats for a new series in a crowded TV landscape — especially for a mid-season debut. But as with most things in TV, the final decision will probably come down to a mix of ratings, budget, and behind-the-scenes logistics. Sometimes these calls take a few months, so fans might need to hang tight just a little longer. What Could Happen in Good Cop/Bad Cop Season 2? While the network hasn't dropped any plot teases, Season 1 left the door wide open for more story. The finale dropped some major bombshells, especially around an old murder case that seems far from over. The ripple effects of that reveal could reshape the Hickman family dynamic — not just between Lou and Henry, but with their father, Big Hank, too. And let's not forget the other threads. Lou's emotional baggage, her messy on-and-off relationship with Officer Bobby Dougan (played by Lincoln Lewis), and Henry's mysterious past in Seattle — all of that is just waiting to be explored further. In a recent interview, Leighton Meester spoke about how the show plays with the whole 'good cop/bad cop' idea, saying, 'Lou is probably the good cop and Henry is probably the bad cop — but that will shift, and what good and bad means is open for interpretation.' So if the show returns, expect even more moral grey zones and emotionally charged cases that test both siblings in unexpected ways. There's also a strong supporting cast — like Officer Sarika Ray and dispatcher Lily Lim — who fans would love to see get more screen time. Eden Vale might be a small town, but there are clearly a lot more secrets hidden beneath the surface. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication .
