Bob Vylan have been axed from a huge UK festival lineup following the controversy surrounding their Glastonbury appearance. The punk group was set to perform at RADAR Festival in Manchester, but the event's organisers have confirmed that the band will not be appearing.
The festival stated on social media: "Bob Vylan will not be appearing at RADAR Festival this weekend." This decision comes after the duo released a statement claiming they are being "targeted for speaking up", following backlash over their Glastonbury Festival performance where they led chants of "Death to the IDF".

Since their appearance at Glastonbury on June 28, they have been dropped by their agents and are now under criminal investigation due to footage from their set at the festival.
On July 1, the band commented: "Not the first. Not the last. Today, a good many people would have you believe a punk band is the number one threat to world peace.
"Last week, it was a Palestine pressure group, the week before that it was another band," as reported by the Mirror, reports the Daily Star.

They further clarified their stance, saying: "We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people.
"We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine. A machine whose own soldiers were told to use 'unnecessary lethal forces' against innocent civilians waiting for aid. A machine that has destroyed much of Gaza."
They continued: "We, like those in the public eye before us, are not the story. We are a diversion from the real story.
"And whatever sanctions we receive will be a diversion. The Government doesn't want us to ask why they remain silent in the face of this atrocity.
"To ask why they aren't doing more to stop the killing? To feed the starving?".
"The more time they talk about Bob Vylan, the less time they spend answering for their criminal inaction.
"We are being targeted for speaking up. We are not the first.
"We will not be the last and if you care for the sanctity of human life and freedom of speech, we urge you to speak up too. Free Palestine."
Earlier in the week, news surfaced that Bob Vylan's US visas were denied.
Christopher Landau, United States Deputy Secretary of State, addressed the issue on X/Twitter by saying: "The @StateDept has revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants."
He added, "Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country."
Amid these revelations, although Bob Vylan's performance was broadcast live by the BBC, the broadcaster has since confirmed that there are no intentions to make the footage available again on iPlayer.

'He expressed that desire while morons are flying Palestinian flags – presumably because they too are interested in the indigenous rights of the Palestinians. 'Well maybe the indigenous rights of the British people are worth protecting too. But they don't care about that because the standard only applies if it's anti-Western, anti us, in favour of literally anyone else.' According to Mr Murray, this naive 'anti-western cult', spawned by modern social justice movements, has chosen Palestine as its 'great fetish'. The bestselling author first tackled this anti-Western ideology in his 2022 book, The War on the West. His latest work, On Democracies and Death Cults, explores how these worldviews have shaped the Israel-Hamas conflict. 'The great fetish of these people's lives is the Palestinian people', Murray told the podcast. 'But what exactly do they think will happen if their pet fetish is ever allowed to win? 'The best-case scenario would be another Arab state in the region – which would be no more successful than say, Jordan. 'Palestine would likely be another outpost of the Mullahs, as long as they're still in power in Tehran. You'd just have yet another failed Arab state. 'You won't get an outbreak of world peace and love, as these people seem to believe. It's as if were Palestine to get a state, something magical would happen. 'Suddenly this unicorn would arrive and rights would be given to people all around the world, and trans people would be freed and there would be no more racism and injustice.' Exasperated, the cultural critic concluded his attack on the festival by issuing a grave warning. 'One wishes to resist the nastiest urges but… maybe the only thing that would ever wake up these moral reprobates at Glastonbury is if something like what happened at the Nova music festival happened to them or one of their friends. 'Not more than 18 months ago, a music festival like Glastonbury had hundreds of Hamas terrorists come into it. 'I heard first-hand how women were gang raped, shot in the jaw and tortured. I pray to God these people never have to discover the consequences of their own semi-thought.' Optical illusion 'personality test' shows if you're 'lonely' or a 'leader'
An optical illusion has been doing the rounds, with viewers asked to decide what they can see first in the image Optical illusions aren't just a delight to the eyes - some suggest they can uncover concealed aspects of our personalities. Utilising colour, light, and patterns, optical illusions deceive our sight. Beyond entertainment, they offer insights into visual perception, illustrating the collaboration between our eyes and brain. There's a notion that optical illusions can double as personality assessments, where an ambiguous image might be interpreted in various ways. The first element you discern is thought to disclose certain personality traits. These playful tests, rooted in psychology, provide an engaging means to self-discovery. And one particular optical illusion has sparked online discussions after psychologist Marina Neuralean presented it on TikTok, reports the Mirror. "The test will show what kind of person you are," Marina claimed. The TikTok account @psychologylove100 shared the same illusion, writing: "What you see first will reveal a very specific aspect of your personality," The video then displays the image, prompting viewers to identify whether they spot crocodiles, a bird, or a face first. Marina says: "If you see a bird, you have big goals but sometimes you feel lonely. If [you see] two crocodiles then you are a leader and don't like to be controlled." Looking deeper, the Psychology Love channel claimed that spotting the crocodiles suggests you're probably a highly sensitive and imaginative individual who finds wonder in everyday moments. They explained: "You are often inspired by your surroundings. You have a great imagination and are able to think innovatively to solve problems. You're draw to the arts, music and literature." Meanwhile, those who identified the bird - possibly an eagle - are more inclined to be sharp-eyed and methodical thinkers. The video elaborated: "You have a keen mind and are able to see the finer details in things. You're also very perceptive and able to understand things quickly. You are drawn to science, mathematics, and logic." The creators also suggest some viewers might detect a face or profile hidden within the picture. People who notice this feature are described as logical individuals with a "strong sense of logic". The video continues: "They are able to see things from different angles and understand different points of view." In TikTok's comments section, numerous users expressed confusion about the optical trick. One baffled viewer remarked: "No matter how you look at it, there's no bird in it." applying physics method but still can't find them." Someone else offered clarity, writing: "The bird is in the mouths of the crocodiles. The tail is the between the bottom jaw, beak is the tip between the top of the crocodiles."
