Former Brazil's President Hospitalized for Abdominal Pain
Israa Farhan Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was transferred by medical aircraft to Brasília on Saturday after being hospitalized for abdominal pain during a trip to northeastern Brazil. Bolsonaro was admitted to a hospital on Friday morning, where doctors diagnosed him with an intestinal blockage linked to complications from a stabbing attack he suffered in September 2018. He indicated that he might require another surgery, although physicians from Rio Grande Hospital in Rio Grande do Norte said he was stable and did not need emergency surgery.
