President Donald Trump has received a "warning" from the American public about his golf habits.
The President of the United States likes to golf, that's for sure. Some close to the President of the United States have suggested that he loves golf more than anything else. Based on his habits, it might be hard to argue with that.
President Trump, 79, has logged a lot of golf rounds since becoming President of the United States. The Associated Press has the official number, too. In total, during his first six months in office, President Trump has made 35 trips to his golf courses in New Jersey, Florida and Virginia.
His habits differed than those of former U.S. President Joe Biden.
"The president has logged 14 Florida trips, 13 to Virginia and eight to New Jersey. After summer arrived, he has favored Bedminster or day trips to Sterling over steamy Mar-a-Lago in Florida," the Associated Press reported.
"Biden headed to his home in Wilmington, Delaware, many weekends early in his term. He sometimes went to a golf club, but attended Mass nearly every weekend."
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt maintains that President Trump is working extremely hard.
"I just wanna say to your audience, there is not a more hardworking president than Donald J. Trump. I witness it with my own two eyes every day," she said. "That man is working around the clock. He hardly ever sleeps. He's constantly thinking about not just the problems in our country here, but around this world and how to solve them."
Some American people are warning against that, though.
"Trump played golf 261 times his first term... a round every 5.6 days. He's played golf 40 times since taking office in January. That's a round every 4.4 days. Quit lying to the American people," one American wrote.
"Trump has played a ton of rounds of golf just since Jan. 2025. All at his own golf courses. Secret Service has to PAY him money to follow his low talent self around the golf course," one fan joked.
Should the President of the United States be playing this much golf?

Southern Baptist policy head resigns after 4 years of navigating internal conflicts

The head of the Southern Baptist Convention's policy arm has resigned after nearly four years leading the staunchly conservative agency, which in recent years has fended off critics within the nation's largest Protestant denomination seeking to push it even further to the right. The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission on Thursday accepted the resignation of its president, Brent Leatherwood, the agency confirmed. The ERLC has advocated against abortion and transgender rights while promoting a strongly pro-Israel stance, a longtime evangelical priority, and an expansive view of religious liberty in the public square similar to how it's been defined in recent U.S. Supreme Court cases. Church representatives at the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in June voted decisively to retain the commission — effectively a vote of confidence against efforts to abolish it. Some critics within the convention wanted it to take a harder-line stance on immigration and to endorse criminal penalties for women seeking abortions. 'In all of our advocacy work, we have sought to strike a balance of conviction and kindness, one that is rooted in Scripture and reflective of our Baptist beliefs,' Leatherwood said in a statement. 'That has meant standing for truth, without equivocation, yet never failing to honor the God-given dignity of each person.' Scott Foshie, chair of the commission's trustees, credited Leatherwood for demonstrating 'loving courage in the face of a divisive and increasingly polarizing culture in America.' Commission Vice President Miles Mullin was named acting president. Leatherwood has led the agency for four years, first as acting president and then as president. A year ago, the agency issued an embarrassing retraction of an announcement of Leatherwood's firing after he complimented then-President Joe Biden — deeply unpopular among conservatives — for ending his reelection campaign. It turned out that the chairman who announced Leatherwood's firing had acted without a required vote of the board's executive committee. The commission's board subsequently gave Leatherwood a strong vote of confidence but cautioned against stirring unnecessary controversy. ___ Associated Press religion coverage receives support through the AP's collaboration with The Conversation US, with funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. This Before And After Picture Of Trump's White House Rose Garden Is Going Viral

In case you aren't aware, DJT is paving over a large part of the White House Rose Garden and replacing it with a patio. It's being modeled after his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida. Related: Construction has been underway for a while now, and the AP got some new pics of how it's going. As you can see, the grass is now a big ol' thing of concrete. Yep, that's a... patio. Though, to be fair, the rose bushes are thankfully still there. Related: Over on socials, this before and after picture is going viral: From this: Again, those bushes are still there. To this: Related: People in the replies aren't loving all of that pavement. "Elegance turned into a backyard bbq sundeck," one person commented. Another person said it would be, "Easier to set up sales events for Trump merchandise." Related: And this person saying it looks like "the deck at my old apartment complex pool." Laaastly, this person offered up a strategy for the 2028 election: "I think the next Democrat running for president could win by just saying that the Rose Garden will be restored." Thoughts?
