Maybe it's not a perfect way, but it's how I've grown up. It's how I feel I've always learned from my mistakes in the best ways. I'm just not quick enough. The team are doing a great job, but I'm not. Maybe I shouldn't share as many things as I do. I'm just honest. You ask me a question, and I'm honest in my answer.'
On taking advice from Vettel, Norris said, 'Seb often texts me about these kinds of things. Being a racing driver is not just about driving the car. There's many other factors to it, and over the last few months, and then the last year, I've learned more about the off-track stuff, on how to improve it, but I'm always open for opportunities to improve even more. I mean, simply, just do what I do, because I believe what I can do is better than what they can do.'
He added, 'That's one of the things I've learned, is that I've got to believe in myself, and I do more than ever. But you've got to be close to perfect, especially when you're against Max [Verstappen], when you're against Oscar [Piastri].'

Formula 1 sponsorship revenue over $2B in 2024, closing on NFL
HighlightsFormula 1 achieved $2.04 billion in sponsorship revenue in 2024, making it the second highest behind the National Football League, which garnered $2.5 billion. The most significant individual sponsorship agreement for Formula 1 is the 10-year, $1 billion deal with luxury conglomerate LVMH, which includes brands such as TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton, and Hennessy. Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren are the leading teams in terms of sponsorship earnings, with car and driver technology contributing nearly $500 million in partner income for all Formula 1 teams. Formula 1 is hot on the tail of the big dog of professional sports marketing , the NFL , and cleared $2.04 billion in sponsorship revenue in 2024. SponsorUnited, which tracks sponsorship and advertising takes across sports, had F1 and its teams behind only the NFL at $2.5 billion in total sponsorship revenue. The total advertising spend for F1 in 2025 is on course to exceed $2.5 billion, according to Ampere Analysis. But major U.S. sponsors such as American Express and IBM still are flowing in with the circuit catapulting in popularity off the success of Netflix series "Drive to Survive" while thriving under the control of Liberty Media. F1 tops the NBA, MLB and NHL and its racing teams each accounted for more than $6 million, according to the report, which breaks down the airbox and sidepod ad placement cost at more than $5 million for the most popular drivers on the circuit. Tops among individual sponsor agreements with F1 is the 10-year, $1 billion pact with luxury conglomerate LVMH, which holds a portfolio anchored by TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton and Hennessy. The largest sponsor for any F1 team is the Williams contract with Australian software corporation Atlassian valued at a reported $25 million to $30 million per year. On the NFL side, the most significant singular sponsorship commitment is with Pepsi. That contract is worth a reported $2 billion over 10 years for exclusive rights at all NFL events and use of the league's trademark in advertising. With F1, Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren are the highest earners in the sponsorship category. Car and driver technology accounts for nearly $500 million in partner income for the 10 teams, according to the report.

Raiders' Patrick Mahomes trade whisper sends NFL fans into frenzy—GM's comments ignite firestorm over league ethics
The Las Vegas Raiders, haunted by Patrick Mahomes' dominance (Getty Images) For years, the Las Vegas Raiders have lived a recurring nightmare: Patrick Mahomes. Twice a season, they face the architect of their AFC West woes, a quarterback who has single-handedly carved out a dynasty in Kansas City and consistently left the Silver and Black in his wake. His dominance – 12 wins in 14 outings against Las Vegas, racking up over 4,000 passing yards and 33 touchdowns – has pushed the Raiders to the brink in their quest for a franchise quarterback. But how far were they willing to go to escape Mahomes' shadow? Could they, against all odds, have ever considered acquiring him? Raiders risked it all for Patrick Mahomes? Insider bombshell rattles AFC West Raiders GM John Spytek recently gave an honest account of the team's rigorous two-year hunt for a starting quarterback. He confirmed their absolute commitment. "Pete [Carroll] and I were completely serious," Spytek stated, "when we said we'd explore every possible avenue for a quarterback." This intensive search, he shared, involved bold inquiries. "We contacted various teams just to gauge interest," he admitted, jokingly adding, "I'd be hesitant to even mention some of the names we inquired about trading for, but you never know.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She Was Everyone's Dream Girl In 90's, This Is Her Recently. Investructor Undo Naturally, the burning question from reporters was immediate: did this wide-ranging dragnet extend to Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach? In a league where "desperate times call for desperate measures," the idea of somehow luring Mahomes away from their bitter rivals – if you couldn't beat him, why not join him, right? – might seem like a fleeting fantasy for a beleaguered fanbase. However, Spytek quickly squashed any such speculation. "We didn't go that far, you know?" he admitted, acknowledging the sheer implausibility of such a blockbuster, intra-division trade. The notion of Patrick Mahomes donning the Silver and Black, while perhaps a tantalizing dream for some, was never a realistic avenue for the Raiders' front office. Eventually, Spytek and Coach Pete Carroll's deep search led them to veteran quarterback Geno Smith from the Seahawks via trade. Spytek expressed confidence, noting Smith's strong performance and history with Carroll. "With Geno in particular, Pete has a history with him, and he's played his best football for Pete," Spytek stated. "And he played well last year, too.' The cost of securing Smith's services was substantial, involving a third-round draft pick and the absorption of the $75 million remaining on his contract. Even with the team's disappointing 4-13 finish last season, Spytek maintains a positive outlook on the team's trajectory under Smith's leadership. He stated, "It's a work in progress, but he's been awesome so far." Mahomes' trade was off-limits, so they're banking on Geno Smith. This investment is their move in the ongoing AFC West battle. Time will tell if Smith brings the stability needed to contend with the division's top team.

New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox: Predicted lineup, venue, where to watch, and more (June 7, 2025)
Image Source: Getty The blockbuster Yankees-Red Sox rivalry will find its place again in the event of Yankee Stadium, the Bronx, on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The Yankees have carved an imposing record of 39 wins to 23 losses and hold pole position in the AL East, and have gone after consistency with the bat and with the ball. On the other hand, the Red Sox are more bumpy compared to a smooth sail development, standing at 30 wins and 35 losses. Predicted lineups and pitching matchups Ryan Yarbrough will be the starter for the Yankees on Saturday. He has proven to be a reliable option this year. The Red Sox, meanwhile, will likely make their move with lefty Garrett Crochet, who has a solid ERA and a high strikeout rate. Yankees continue to lean on their offensive weaponry. Aaron Judge is having himself a fine season and is batting .397, with 21 home runs to his credit and 51 RBIs. Paul Goldschmidt is, as usual, having a very good season himself with batting figures of .320 and seven home runs. Anthony Volpe has an average of .241 and eight home runs, and Jazz Chisholm Jr. is batting .256 with nine home runs. Predicted Yankees lineup: Anthony Volpe (SS), Jazz Chisholm Jr. (2B), Aaron Judge (RF), Paul Goldschmidt (1B), Alex Verdugo (LF), Gleyber Torres (DH), Jose Trevino (C), Trent Grisham (CF), DJ LeMahieu (3B) Predicted Red Sox lineup: Jarren Duran (CF), Wilyer Abreu (LF), Rafael Devers (3B), Tyler O'Neill (RF), Enmanuel Valdez (2B), Bobby Dalbec (1B), Connor Wong (C), Ceddanne Rafaela (SS), Marcelo Mayer (DH) Down in Boston, the team is going to count on the 13-home run and still most consistent hitter, Rafael Devers, while Marcelo Mayer is plate-wise a question mark, but pretty promising.
