‘Robin Hood' Adds 6 To Cast In Recurring Roles; Production Underway In Serbia
EXCLUSIVE: MGM+ has rounded out its cast for upcoming series Robin Hood, starring Jack Patten and Lauren McQueen, with six in recurring roles. Richard Lintern (Silent Witness), Erica Ford (The Nevers), Ryan Gage (Choose or Die), Oscar Salem (Vigil), and Serbian actors Miloš Timotijević (In the Land of Blood and Honey) and Tamara Radovanović (The Arc) join previously announced main cast Lydia Peckham, Steven Waddington, Marcus Fraser, Angus Castle-Doughty and Henry Rowley, and Sean Bean, who recurs. Production is currently underway in Serbia.
From Lionsgate TV and showrunner John Glenn, Robin Hood is described as a sweeping, romantic adventure, a modern take of the classic tale that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth, and a heightened focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian.

In the series, following the Norman invasion of England, Rob (Patten) – a Saxon forester's son – and Marian (McQueen) the daughter of a Norman lord – fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land.
Lintern will play the Bishop of Hereford. Greedy yet savvy, the Bishop enjoys significant political and spiritual power as an agent of the crown who's also been appointed by the Vatican in Rome. A meaningful ally (or enemy), he exerts his influence alongside the Sheriff to maintain the status quo in Nottingham — a status quo that very much benefits him.
Ford portrays Ralph Miller. The eldest of the Miller siblings, Ralph has lived much of her life disguised as a boy, for her own protection. Forced to care for her brothers from a young age, Ralph is fiercely loyal and protective. From the moment Rob enters her life, he catches her eye — around him, she feels safe, and begins flowering into her femininity in ways that are both awkward and beautiful. While she knows Rob loves Marian, Ralph never stops carrying a torch for him, believing that in the end he belongs with one of his own kind — a Saxon, like herself.
Gage will play Spragart. Cunning and resourceful, Spragart is a Saxon poacher and thief whose twisted path intersects Rob's after Rob catches him poaching in Sherwood. Later, Spragart joins up with Rob and the Outlaws, joining the gang on a daring raid against the Bishop. He's a quick-thinking rogue with a mind that's always up to something — and it's usually no good.
Salem will portray The Earl of Pembroke, Marshal, Eleanor's advisor and confidant. Worldly, ambitious, and politically savvy, Marshal is a chief ally to the Queen, serving her faithfully while also pursuing an erotically charged romantic relationship with the Sheriff of Nottingham's daughter, Priscilla.
Timotijević portrays Egbert, a Royal Forester, who serves alongside Alwin and Hugh as a faithful protector of Sherwood.
Glenn executive produces with producer-director Jonathan English and Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures. Glenn and English also serve as writers, while Carly Elter and Nicole Bryant will oversee the series for Hidden Pictures.
In addition to premiering on MGM+ in the U.S., Robin Hood will be available to MGM+ viewers in the U.K., Italy, Germany, Spain, Latin America, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Lintern is perhaps best known for his seven-season run as a lead in BBC drama Silent Witness. He also portrayed Stephen Ward in Netflix's The Crown, among other credits.
Ford made her screen debut in HBO's The Nevers. Most recently, she played supporting roles in Hallmark feature An American in Austen and in HBO's House of the Dragon Season 2.
Gage, known for his work on films The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Battle of the Five Armies and Choose or Die, will next be seen in upcoming films Leonora in the Morning Light and The Draw. His television credits include Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storym Renegade Nell, The Famous Five and upcoming in Ridley.
Salem can currently be seen as a series regular in BBC/Peacock's Vigil Season 2. He also was recently seen in the Oscar nominated Mubi feature The Substance, directed by Coralie Fargeat, and in House of the Dragon for HBO.
Timotijević's credits include Angelina Jolie's In The Land of Blood and Honey, and in Serbian series Srećni ljudi (Happy People), Gore and Porodično blago (Family Treasure).
Radovanovic's credits include English-language series such as The Ark, The Outpost and Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints.

Elizabeth Hurley Cast in 'Mischievous' Career-First Role and Fans Are Already 'Obsessed'
Elizabeth Hurley has landed a head-turning new gig! Marking her return to TV screens—her last TV show appearances included Runaways and The Royals from 2015 through 2019—the 59-year-old actress has been cast as 'The Deceseased,' a dead, glamorous benefactor in a gripping new series. Appearing in The Inheritance, which will air on the UK's Channel 4, it also marks her foray into a competition series that's described as very high-stakes. Per the synopsis, 'Thirteen strangers are summoned to a grand stately home. They are there to compete for part of the fortune left in the will of The Deceased.' It teases that 'winning the money won't be easy' as 'The Deceased had a wicked sense of humor and has designed a mischievous game to ensure only the best players can get their hands on her inheritance.' The executor and trusted legal counsel for Hurley's character, who will be keeping a "watchful eye," will be played by lawyer and British TV personality Robert Rinder. Contestants will have to work as a team to complete The Deceased's final request, including 'a series of devilishly difficult assignments that will demand they are clever, collaborative and cunning,' however, the twist is that only one player can claim the money gained in each request. Hurley released a statement calling it a 'thrill to be part of this clever game.' And fans shouldn't be surprised that the model will bring her A-game, noting, 'It all takes place on her huge estate in the English countryside, and she dresses to the nines in every scene.' Fans can also expect it to be as gripping and have the same allure as The Traitors, considering it hails from the same team, Studio Lambert. Steven Handley, Channel 4's Head of Reality & Entertainment, described the upcoming 12-episode show as "part Knives Out, part Succession", previously teasing the inclusion of "British icon" now revealed to be Hurley. 'The Inheritance isn't just a battle of strategy, alliances, and inevitable betrayals - it's a cocktail of drama, jeopardy, and outright mischief that Reality fans love. I can't wait to see how our players handle the challenges, the twists, and a few sneaky surprises, Handley revealed, per Deadline. Immediately following the reveal, fans took to the comments with reactions such as, "This looks insane 😍" "Hooked already ❤️ can't wait to see" "Obsessed already" and "This sounds very hardly wait to see it !!! ❤️🙌🔥😍🌟💞👌." 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬
